Anthropogenic carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emission from the combustion of fossil fuels aggravates the global greenhouse *** implementation of CO_(2)capture and transformation technologies have recently received great attention for providing a pathway in dealing with global climate *** these technologies,electrochemical CO_(2)capture technology has attracted wide attention because of its environmental friendliness and flexible operating *** membranes(BPMs)are considered as one of the key components in electrochemical devices,especially for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction and electrodialysis *** create an alkaline environment for CO_(2)capture and a stable pH environment for electrocatalysis on a single *** key to CO_(2)capture in these devices is to understand the water dissociation mechanism occurring in BPMs,which could be used for optimizing the operating conditions for CO_(2)capture and *** this paper,the references and technologies of electrochemical CO_(2)capture based on BPMs are reviewed in detail,thus the challenges and opportunities are also discussed for the development of more efficient,sustainable and practical CO_(2)capture and transformation based on BPMs.

Biomass-derived carbon materials for lithiumion batteries emerge as one of the most promising anodes from sustainable ***,improving the reversible capacity and cycling performance remains a long-standing *** combining the benefits of K2CO_(3) activation and KMnO_(4) hydrothermal treatment,this work proposes a two-step activation method to load MnO_(2) charge transfer onto biomass-derived carbon(KAC@MnO_(2)).Comprehensive analysis reveals that KAC@MnO_(2) has a micro-mesoporous coexistence structure and uniform surface distribution of MnO_(2),thus providing an improved electrochemical ***,KAC@MnO_(2) exhibits an initial chargedischarge capacity of 847.3/1813.2 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.2 A·g^(-1),which is significantly higher than that of direct pyrolysis carbon and K2CO_(3) activated carbon,***,the KAC@MnO_(2) maintains a reversible capacity of 652.6 mAh·g^(-1) after 100 *** at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1),KAC@MnO_(2) still exhibits excellent long-term cycling stability and maintains a stable reversible capacity of 306.7 mAh·g^(-1) after 500 *** with reported biochar anode materials,the KAC@MnO_(2) prepared in this work shows superior reversible capacity and cycling ***,the Li+insertion and de-insertion mechanisms are verified by ex situ X-ray diffraction analysis during the chargedischarge process,helping us better understand the energy storage mechanism of KAC@MnO_(2).

In practical control engineering,delay and actuator saturation are main challenges which may lead to system performance degradation,or even controlled variables *** of Smith predictor and model recovery anti windup method is an effective solution to linear delay system anti-windup synthesis,however model dependent property of the above two methods brings obstacles for the application and *** overcome such a difficulty,a data-driven approach is proposed in this paper,operating data is collected and utilized to simultaneously tune feedback controller parameters and estimate internal model applied in Smith ***,anti-windup compensator is constructed with the estimated model and a compensator gain optimization structure is proposed based on Lyapunov ***,simulations have been implemented to three typical processes in chemical engineering,and detailed performance comparison is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In the data-incomplete industrial systems, the existing data-driven fault diagnosis techniques cannot be applied directly due to the missing of sampled data. In this paper, we propose a method based on bayesian networks to realize the fault diagnosis of systems with incomplete sample data. Our method uses the Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm to estimate the missing part of incomplete sample data, then selects the features based on the mutual information technique, and finally, constructs the bayesian network classifier to achieve the fault diagnosis of systems. We used the Tennessee Eastman process as the simulation model, and analyzed the diagnostic performance under different degrees of missing data. Both the normal case and three faults had been considered in the simulation. Compared with the data-complete case, our method achieved a good diagnosis performance in the case within 10% rate of missing sample data. © 2011 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

This paper mainly studies the continuous-time Markov Jump Linear Systems (MJLSs) problem based on model predictive control (MPC). Sufficient conditions of the optimization problem, which could guarantee the mean square stability of the close-loop MJLS, are given at every sample time. Since the MPC strategy is aggregated into continuous-time MJLSs, a discrete-time controller is employed to deal with a continuous-time plant and the adopted cost function not only refers to the knowledge of system state but also considers the sampling period. In addition, the feasibility of MPC scheme and the mean square stability of the MJLS are deeply discussed by using the invariant ellipsoid. Finally, the main results are verified by a numerical example. © 2015 IEEE.

In this paper,a novel dimensionality reduction method,time space coordinated-locality preserving projections(TSCLPP) is proposed based on locality preserving projection(LPP).For the short sampling interval,except the data correlation in spatial scale,there exists data correlation in time scale as *** considering the correlation of sampling points in time and spatial scale simultaneously,TSCLPP constructs the adjacency graph by selecting adjacent points in time-sequence and Euclidean distance ***,the importance of the time-sequential neighbors is measured by the weight based on a time distance.A dual objective function with a weight index coordinating the relationship between time and space is constructed to compute the transformation ***'s T2 and squared prediction error(SPE) are established for process monitoring.A numerical case and the Tennessee-Eastman process(TEP) are employed for the experimental verification.

At present,in-situ leaching of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores(WCE-DREOs) encounter with problems such as long leaching cycles,slow infiltration rate and low product *** order to solve the above problems,the conventional leaching agent ammonium sulfate((NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)) was compounded with polymeric surfactant polyethyleneimine(PEI) to form a composite leaching *** effects of leaching temperature,PEI *** rate and pH on leaching kinetics and permeability of rare earths(RE) and aluminum(AI) in orebody were *** is found that with temperature increasing,the time required to reach leaching equilibrium for both RE and Al is shortened,the apparent activation energies of RE and AI are 14.79 and 13.45 kJ/mol,respectively,and the leaching processes are in accordance with the outer diffusion control,When the concentrations of(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) and PEI in the composite leaching agent are 2.0 wt% and 0.4 wt%;the time required to reach leaching equilibrium for RE and AI is about 50% shorter than that using(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) alone,and the leaching efficiencies of RE are slightly higher than that of *** increasing the temperature and flow rate of the composite leaching agent can improve the leaching efficiencies of RE and Al,but pH has neglected effects on the leaching efficiencies of *** PEI concentrations below 0,4 wt%, the addition of PEI promotes the leaching of RE and *** column leaching studies of the WCE-DREO,the addition of 0.4 wt% PEI to the traditional leaching agent(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) has no impact on the leaching efficiencies of ***,it can significantly increase the infiltration rate of WCE-DREO,shortening the leaching time per 10 mL effluent from about 30 min for(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) leaching system to 20 min for the composite leaching *** leaching time is shortened by one-third,and the leaching cost is reduced,which can provide theoretical guidance for the development and commercial implementa

This paper proposes a novel finite-time consensus tracking protocol for guaranteeing heterogeneous multi-agent systems with a virtual leader to achieve the fast finite-time consensus tracking. The Lyapunov function method, algebra graph theory, homogeneity with dilation and some other techniques are employed to prove that heterogeneous multi-agent systems with a virtual leader applying the proposed protocol can reach the finite-time consensus tracking. Numerical simulations indicate that compared with traditional finite-time consensus tracking protocols, the proposed protocol can accelerate the convergence speed of the finite-time consensus tracking. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
