In this paper, a novel real-time online UAV image mosaic algorithm is proposed to meet the real-time, robustness and accuracy requirements of practical application. First, the algorithm adopts GPS and track planning information to locate the adjacent images. Instead of the 8-DOF(degrees of freedom) homography transformation, the 4-DOF similarity transformation is estimated to more robustly register the UAV images and reduce their perspective errors. Second, a new method of local registration is developed to reduce the cumulative errors and calculation costs. Meanwhile, the real-time mosaic process is used to register images and update the panoramic image. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated by a group of experiments on 4 K images taken by quadrotor drones. According to the comparison of experiments, the proposed algorithm is robust to cumulative errors and obtains high-quality panorama. Additionally, through the analysis on stitching time and practical application, frame-by-frame mosaic synthesis is online updated in real-time.

In this paper, we consider the security problem of opinion dynamics in attack-defense environment in social networks. First, we propose an opinion dynamics model, which is composed by attackers, defenders and the masses. In the proposed model, a set of attackers controlled by the agent with hostile opinion sends malicious opinion to their neighbors with a certain probability, and the defenders are activated by the agent with right opinion at a triggering time to lead the opinions of the masses to a safe zone. Second, we provide a sufficient condition to ensure the convergence of the expected opinions of the system. We also give the method to seek a lower bound of the opinions spread by the defenders at each time step while keeping the opinions in safe situation. Finally, we provide a numerical example to verify the main results.

A new method was developed for batch process monitoring in this paper. In the devdopad method, just-in-time learning ( JITL ) and independent component analysis (ICA) were integrated to build JITL-ICA monitoring scheme. JITL was employed to tackle with the characteristics of batch process such as inherent time- varying dynamics, multiple operating phases, and especially the case of uneven length stage. According to new coming test data, the most correlated segmentation was obtained from batch-wise unfolded training data by JITL. Then, ICA served as the principal components extraction approach. Therefore, the *** distributed data can also be addressed under this modeling framework. The effectiveness and superiority of JITL-ICA based monitoring method was demonstrated by fed-batch penicillin fermentation.

A novel distributed adaptive output feedback control strategy is developed to solve the cooperative output regulation problem of heterogeneous general linear multi-agent systems(MASs) under switching topology. The proposed control strategy avoids using the minimal non-zero eigenvalue of Laplacian matrix when calculating gain matrix, and the communication topology is assumed to contain a directed spanning tree only frequently. It is shown that individual agents could track external signal asymptotically and achieve disturbance rejection. Ultimately, a simulation is presented to exemplify the effectualness of the main result.

The variable-speed, variable-pitch speed wind turbines are widely used in the wind-energy system. However, the fluctuation of power generation is serious because of the erratic speed of wind and the nonlinearity of the energy conversion systems (ECS). How to keep the ECS work well during the whole operating region is a challenge issue. In this paper, a multiple model predictive control (MMPC) using the state estimation is present to solve this issue. The whole operating region is divided into several sub-regions according to the wind's speed, in which several linear models and corresponding MPCs are constructed. The state variables of each local model are estimated by using the Kalman filter. A new switching criterion without perturbation is present to keep the MMPC works well at the different operating region switching. Considering the operating constraints, a quadratic programming procedure is used to calculate the optimal value of MMPC. Comparing the conventional PI controller, the proposed control achieves a good performance and reduces the fluctuation of power generation. Simulation results show the excellent performance of the present method.

Gaussian mixture model(GMM) monitoring method is commonly used for non-Gaussian process monitoring. In GMM monitoring method, the final number of Gaussian components and the statistical distribution parameters are estimated through the improved Figueiredo-Jain(F-J) algorithm in the modeling phase. However, the data dimensionality of modern industry is high, the number of initial Gaussian components is large for the accuracy of the algorithm. Under this condition, the relative small number of samplings makes the denominator in the weight estimation formula of the improved F-J algorithm become zero and the algorithm suspends. To make the algorithm work well in an acceptable modeling time, we deduce the Initial-ParameterCriterion among initial Gaussian components, data dimension, sampling number and propose the Initial-Parameter-Criterion based GMM(IPC-GMM) monitoring method. The proposed monitoring method is used for TE process monitoring, simulation results reveal the effectiveness and necessity of IPC-GMM monitoring method.
