In this paper, by using the flux-controlled memristor model, the finite-time synchronization problem of delayed complex-valued memristive neural networks (MCNNs) is studied. Firstly, according to the proposed memristor model, we model the MCNNs as continuous systems on voltage-flux-time (wp, varpi, t) domain. Then, we design a class of approaches to realize state synchronization between the drive and response systems, and the corresponding synchronization conditions are achieved. Finally, the effectiveness of results is illustrated with the simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

In the field of computer-aided medicine, automated surgical gesture recognition is an important research direction. Its main applications include automated skills assessment, intraoperative guidance, and education and training systems. Current research has focused on robotic surgery, and there is less research on surgical gestures for open surgery. Therefore, in this study, a new simulated open surgery dataset was developed, and a series of surgical gestures for open surgery were defined for closure the abdomen surgery with the cooperation of professional doctors. In addition, this paper uses the classical algorithm 3DCNN and SlowFast model in the field of action recognition to perform offline recognition of surgical gestures for open surgery on the dataset. 3DCNN uses R3D and R(2+1)D models. The experimental results show that on the self-built open surgical dataset, the R3D model has the best surgical gesture recognition results, with an accuracy rate of 90.4%, a precision rate of 90.5%, and a recall rate of 90.0%. © 2024 IEEE.

The evolution process of magnetic domains in response to external fields is crucial for the modern understanding and application of *** this study,we investigated the domain rotation in stripe domain films of varying thicknesses by examining their response to microwave excitation in four different *** resonance spectra indicate that the rotation field of stripe domain film under an applied magnetic field approaches the field where the resonance mode of sample *** saturation field of the stripe domain film corresponds to the field where the resonance mode disappears when measured in the stripe direction parallel to the microwave magnetic *** results are reproducible and consistent with micromagnetic simulations,providing additional approaches and techniques for comprehending the microscopic mechanisms of magnetic domains and characterizing their rotation.

A cloud platform for engineering drawing course teaching was proposed based on cloud station. The cloud station can solve the common problems existed in engineering drawing course, such as the difficulty of teaching, the heavy work of tutorship, the poor teaching effect, the weak spatial imagination of students, as well as the current difficulty to develop the virtual model resource base and the interaction is not strong. The platform uses Solidworks software to build 3D model library, and combines with CADbro's powerful cloud service and 3D file viewing function to realize the interaction and sharing with cloud model by using web browser. At the same time, we choose bilibili, a popular cultural site for teenagers, to release the explanation videos of exercises, and make use of the convenient way to build the cloud station to integrate, release and manage the resources. The platform realizes self-study and self-test at anytime and anywhere on both PC and mobile devices, and fast jumps the corresponding explanation video and cloud virtual model according to the demand. The virtual model in the cloud can be rotated, cut, distance measured, exploded, parts hidden, moved, 2D viewed and so on by touch. The platform is innovative, extensible, interesting and practical, which can greatly enhance the students' enthusiasm for independent learning, and it can be used reference to the development of engineering drawing teaching resources. © 2023 IEEE.

Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) positioning system has become the main research object in indoor positioning field due to its superior positioning performance. Accuracy at the scale of centimeters is achievable in an ideal positioning scenario. Nonetheless, the intricate and changeable indoor surroundings may cause UWB signals to propagate beyond the line-of-sight (LOS) and weaken in signal strength, resulting in a considerable reduction in the precision of positioning. In this paper, methods for identifying non-line-of-sight (NLOS) errors, alleviating NLOS errors, and integrating multi-sensor information are analyzed and studied to provide reference for improving the NLOS positioning accuracy of UWB. © 2023 IEEE.

In view of the most difficult problem of terminology translation in the translation of historical books, this paper extracts term translation pairs from bilingual parallel corpus as a reference to improve the quality and efficiency of the translation of historical books. However, the small size of the corpus of historical books leads to poor word alignment, which brings a large number of errors to term alignment. At the same time, the special grammar of ancient Chinese will also affect term alignment. In order to solve the above two problems, this paper proposes a method of term alignment of historical books based on pivot language and position correspondence. This method introduces modern Chinese as the pivot language, makes use of the position correspondence between modern Chinese and English terms in sentences, and uses the sliding window method to generate candidate term pairs, which avoids the influence of word alignment errors on term alignment. In addition, if we first align to modern Chinese, the ancient Chinese terminology will complete the omitted characters in modern Chinese and replace the false characters, so as to avoid the influence of the special usage in ancient Chinese on the term alignment. The experimental results in Historical Records show that the accuracy of this method is slightly better than that of the method based on word alignment, which verifies the effectiveness of this method without word alignment. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Large rotating flexible machines are prone to vibration at high speeds, which is a difficult engineering problem. In this study, we have deeply explored its nonlinear dynamic behavior and vibration mechanism, especially considering the effect of parallel misalignment. Through mathematical modeling and MATLAB simulations, we found that the rotational speed and the amount of misalignment are the key parameters affecting the stability of the system. The results show that the rotational speed and parallel misalignment are the sensitive parameters of the system. When the amount of misalignment is 0.002 mm, with the increase of rotational speed, the elastic beam exhibits nonlinear M-type vibration, doubly periodic and chaotic behaviors, which show high-frequency abrupt excitation;when the angular speed is 50 rad/s, with the increase of the amount of misalignment from 0.001 mm to 0.1 mm, the system exhibits the transformation of doubly periodic, chaotic and proposed periodic motions, and the characteristics of intermittent vibration are significant. These results provide an important theoretical basis for suppressing its nonlinear vibration. © 2024 The Authors.

Learning a Coordinated Network for Detail-Refinement Multiexposure Image Fusion

Nowadays, deep learning has made rapid progress in the field of multi-exposure image fusion. However, it is still challenging to extract available features while retaining texture details and color. To address this difficult issue, in this paper, we propose a coordinated learning network for detail-refinement in an end-to-end manner. Firstly, we obtain shallow feature maps from extreme over/under-exposed source images by a collaborative extraction module. Secondly, smooth attention weight maps are generated under the guidance of a self-attention module, which can draw a global connection to correlate patches in different locations. With the cooperation of the two aforementioned used modules, our proposed network can obtain a coarse fused image. Moreover, by assisting with an edge revision module, edge details of fused results are refined and noise is suppressed effectively. We conduct subjective qualitative and objective quantitative comparisons between the proposed method and twelve state-of-the-art methods on two available public datasets, respectively. The results show that our fused images significantly outperform others in visual effects and evaluation metrics. In addition, we also perform ablation experiments to verify the function and effectiveness of each module in our proposed method. The demand for flexible shielding has been rapidly growing in recent *** materials using solid metals,carbon materials,or MXenes as shielding units usually have difficulty in combining high shielding and flexibility(stretching and bending characteristics),and thus they gradually fail to meet the shielding needs of flexible ***,shielding materials with both flexibility and high conductivity are urgent to fill this ***-based room temperature liquid metal(LM)is an emerging functional material with a low melting point,low viscosity,low modulus,and easy ***,due to wettability and compatibility issues,it is difficult to apply bulk LMs directly in the field of electromagnetic shielding(EMS).The article reviews the fabrication methods,performance,and applications of LMs EMS materials from three perspectives:Macroscopic LMs,micro/nano-LMs,and LM-based *** gallium-based liquid EMS materials demonstrate the characteristics of high shielding performance with stretchability and a wide shielding *** this review,different types of gallium-based LM materials are described from macroscopic to microscopic,from liquid to semi-solid,from high density to low density,from room temperature to ultra-low temperature,and from monolayer structure to multilayer *** prospect of LM materials as amorphous high-performance EMS materials is demonstrated in various applications,such as mobile communication,astronomical observation,radar,and medical detection,showing tremendous potential in the EMS field.

A calibration method of external parameters of 2D laser in rotary 3D scanning

Aiming at the problem of external parameter calibration in the combined rotating three-dimensional(3D) scanning process of laser radar and turntable, a fast 3D data scanning and accurate equipment calibration method suitable for industrial application scenarios is proposed. The coordinates of the center of the circle in the laser radar coordinate system are obtained by fitting the coordinates of the center of the circle with the scanning arc. Through the standard size and rotation angle of the target ball, the coordinates of the ball center in the turntable coordinate system are obtained. The rotation parameter R and the translation parameter T of the minimum value of the data set conversion error function in the two coordinate systems are calculated. The experimental results show that the error between the converted data and the actual data is within 0.1 mm, which meets the actual work requirements. This calibration method has the advantages of high accuracy and strong robustness.
