Flow and thermal modeling of liquid metal in expanded microchannel heat sink

Liquid metal-based microchannel heat sinks (MCHSs) suffer from the low heat capacity of coolant, resulting in an excessive temperature rise of coolant and heat sink when dealing with high-power heat dissipation. In this paper, it was found that expanded space at the top of fins could distribute the heat inside microchannels, reducing the temperature rise of coolant and heat sink. The orthogonal experiments revealed that expanding the top space of channels yielded similar temperature reductions to changing the channel width. The flow and thermal modeling of expanded microchannel heat sink (E-MCHS) were analyzed by both using the 3-dimensional (3D) numerical simulation and the 1-dimensional (1D) thermal resistance model. The fin efficiency of E-MCHS was derived to improve the accuracy of the 1D thermal resistance model. The heat conduction of liquid metal in Z direction and the heat convection between the top surface of fins and the liquid metal could reduce the total thermal resistance (Rt). The above process was effective for microchannels with low channel aspect ratio, low mean velocity (Um) or long heat sink length. The maximum thermal resistance reduction in the example of this paper reached 36.0%. The expanded space endowed the heat sink with lower pressure, which might further reduce the pumping power (P). This rule was feasible both when fins were truncated (h_(2) < 0, h_(2) is the height of expanded channel for E-MCHS) and when over plate was raised (h_(2) > 0).

Long forging production cycle and low equipment utilization are the important problems currently facing domestic die forging ring production lines. To solve this problem, a simulation optimization method for die forging production line based on Flexsim was proposed. Firstly, the ECRS theory method was used to analyze the bottleneck process of the production line. Then, built a logistics simulation model of die forging production line based on Flexsim, The parallel and cycle processing steps was set reasonable parameters and simulated. Next, through logic analysis, methods such as adding processing equipment, improving equipment efficiency and balancing equipment handling tasks were used to optimize and improve the production line. Finally, compared and analyzed the original and optimized model. The simulation results show that the optimized production line equipment task allocation tends to be rationalized, the equipment utilization rate is increased by 4.34%, and the product cycle time is reduced by 27.65%, and optimized planning and design are achieved. © 2020 Institute of Physics Publishing. The paper analyzed a steel thick cylinder, established a bilinear kinematic hardening model based on the von Mises yield criterion. We also considered the parameters of the material yield limit, the autofrettage pressure, working pressure and cylinder diameters, studied of a response surface model to predict design parameters. We firstly used the optimal Latin Hypercube method to acquire the sample points. Then, we established a response surface model with these points. We also employed cross-validation error analysis for error analysis. The results tested the feasibility of this method in solving such problems.

This paper is concerned with the robust normalization and stochastic stabilizing problem for singular Markovian jump systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties and time delay. A novel proportional-derivative controller with memory is designed. Sufficient conditions are derived to ensure that the closed-loop system is not only robust normal, but also stochastically stable. In addition, the explicit expression of the desired control gains is also given by solving strict linear matrix inequalities. Finally, simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of our methods.

One-Pot Synthesis of Tetraarylpyrrolo[3,2-b]pyrrole Dopant-Free Hole-Transport Materials for Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells

Four organic smallmolecule hole transport materials(D41, D42,D43 and D44) of tetraarylpyrrolo[3,2-b]pyrroles were prepared. They can be used without doping in the manufacture of the inverted planar perovskite solar cells. Tetraarylpyrrolo[3,2-b]pyrroles are accessible for one-pot synthesis.D42, D43 and D44 possess acceptor-π-donor-π-acceptor structure, on which the aryl bearing substitutes of cyan, fluorine and trifluoromethyl, respectively. Instead, the aryl moiety of D41 is in presence of methyl with a donor-π-donor-π-donor structure. The different substitutes significantly affected their molecular surface charge distribution and thin-film morphology, attributing to the electron-rich properties of fused pyrrole ring. The size of perovskite crystalline growth particles is affected by different molecular structures,and the electron-withdrawing cyan group of D42 is most conducive to the formation of large perovskite grains. The D42 fabricated devices with power conversion efficiency of17.3% and retained 55% of the initial photoelectric conversion efficiency after 22 days in dark condition. The pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyrrole is efficient electron-donating moiety for hole transporting materials to form good substrate in producing perovskite thin film.

Sign languages are the primary medium of communication for the deaf and hearing-impaired community, and the number of human beings with hearing impairment is increasing at a rapid rate. There is a signifîcant communication barrier between the hearing-impaired and normal-hearing communities. One solution to this issue is to offload the effort of text imderstanding for the deaf and hearing-impaired community in the form of Sign Language Generation (SLG). In this paper, first of all, we systematically review the mainstream Neural Machine Translation (NMT)based SLG approaches. Specifically, according to their model architectures, we divide them into two categories: the Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs)-based and Transformer-based models, and discuss their advantages and limitations. Next, we introduce the existing publicly available datasets and the data pre pros ses sing methods in the field of SLG. Then, we summarize the performance evaluation methods for NMT-based SLG models. Finally, we offer two possible future research directions for better development in the field of SLG. © 2021 IEEE

As a fundamental technology of human motion analysis, video based pose estimation has attracted more and more attention of researchers. While most mainstream methods treated videos as a collection of unrelated frames, random false positives caused by light and shadow changes will bring greater uncertainty to the results of human body estimation. To eliminate these false positives in multi-person 2D pose estimation, a method of multi-person 2D pose estimation using the time-space relationship of adjacent frames is proposed. At first, Frame Association Information(FAI) is defined to represent the relationship between person objects in adjacent frames, which contents similarity of position, size and poses. Then, a method of false positives eliminating is designed using FAIs between frames, which can identify and remove false positives in frames according to their similarities to human objects in a benchmark frame. The following experiments show the effectiveness of our method. © 2019 Association for computing Machinery.

Digital image scrambling is one of the most important methods of imageinformation hiding and camouflage. A new digital image scrambling algorithmbased on chaos in low intensity laser-DNA molecule systems is presented in thispaper for image encryption. Firstly, the chaotic sequence is generated by lowintensity laser-DNA molecule system,. Not only is the generated, chaoticsequence extremely sensitive for initial value, ergodic and aperiodic, but alsoit has higher security than the one generated by Logistic Mapping. Based, on thechaotic sequence(s), the image is confused by all pixels encryption and theimage ranks com, pound, encryption. Simulation experimental result shows thatthis method has good scrambling performance, security and robustness. ICIC International © 2009.
