Electromagnetic tomography (EMT) is a process tomography based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. It has the advantages of non-intrusive, non-contact and low harm. In the process of image reconstruction, the sensitivity matrix reflects the influence of tiny disturbance on the measured value, which is an important index of image quality. Base on the traditional "O"sensor array structure in this article, Comsol Multiphysics finite element simulation software is used to divide the measured field into several tiny elements. A simulated perturbation method is used to investigate the effect of the number of EMT sensors' midline coils on sensitivity. The sensitivity matrix of sensor arrays with 4 coils ,8 coils ,12 coils ,16 coils and 20 coils is compared by using the method of separation variables. The sensitivity matrix of different coils is imaged by Matlab software. Through comparative analysis, it is concluded that the sensitivity band shape of the coil in the same position is same in different models. All of them are distributed along the arc type between the excitation and detection coils, which presents the middle strong and gradually weakens to the outside. With the increase of the number of coils, the sensitivity band is widened, but the sensitivity value of the central part is slightly weakened. Application of machine learning method in new drug development can greatly shorten the process of experimental discovery and reduce the risk of clinical failure. However, the feature extraction of proteins sequence is very difficult due to the large dimension. To this end, we propose a Protein Embedding Model(PEM) for drug molecular screening to predict the interaction between proteins and small molecules. Specifically, PEM first classifies 20 kinds of amino acids into 6 categories to reduce the dimension and learns the representation of protein borrowing the idea of word embedding. Then the model uses multiple imputation to fill the physical and chemical properties of small molecule compounds. Finally, the model uses LightGBM model to predict the affinity value Ki between proteins and small molecules. Experiments show that the model can effectively extract the features of proteins and small molecules and outperforms other traditional methods on the data provided by a drug discovery and development company.

Accurate segmentation of pulmonary blood vessels from CT images is of great significance for lung disease detection and segmentation of other lung structures. Manual segmentation is difficult to accurately segment vascular tissue for various reasons. Therefore, in view of the existing problems and shortcomings of the existing lung vessel segmentation method, a more efficient lung vessel segmentation algorithm is proposed, that is, the multi-template fast marching method (MSFM algorithm). Firstly, it used the hole filling and maximum inter-class variance algorithm for preprocess. In the process, the lung parenchyma is extracted from the chest CT, and then the lung blood vessels are extracted in the lung parenchymal area using the MSFM algorithm. In the extraction process, the threshold and gradient are used to limit the progress of the process and the lung blood vessels are more accurately segmented. Through experimental verification, the accuracy of lung blood vessel segmentation based on MSFM algorithm is improved.

The performance of an emotion recognition system is determined by the quality of emotional features. In this paper, we propose a feature optimization algorithm based on image enhancement and present a convolutional recurrent model to realize emotional recognition of natural speech. For three-dimensional (3-D) log-Mel spectrum and 3-D spectrogram features, the fast gamma transformation with an adaptive threshold is adopted for feature enhancement to make full use of the dynamic characteristics of non-stationary speech signals. Meanwhile, the model combining Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the rectangular kernels and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) is used to complete speech emotion recognition tasks. Experiments are carried out on two public emotional datasets, and results demonstrate the good generalization ability and recognition performance of our proposed model. © 2019 IEEE.

BACKGROUND:Bioinformatics is a subject produced by the combination of life science and computer science. It mainly uses computer technology to study the laws of biological systems. The design and realization of DNA circuit reaction is one of the important contents of bioinformatics. RESULTS:In this paper, nonlinear dynamic system model with Lévy jump based on entropy-driven amplifier (EDA) circuit response is studied. Firstly, nonlinear biochemical reaction system model is established based on EDA circuit response. Considering the influence of disturbance factors on the system, nonlinear biochemical reaction system with Lévy jump is built. Secondly, in order to prove that the constructed system conforms to the actual meaning, the existence and uniqueness of the system solution is analyzed. Next, the sufficient conditions for the end and continuation of EDA circuit reaction are certified. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical results is proved by numerical simulation, and the reactivity of THTSignal in EDA circuit under different noise intensity is verified. CONCLUSIONS:In EDA circuit reaction, the intensity of external noise has a significant impact on the system. The end of EDA circuit reaction is closely related to the intensity of Lévy noise, and Lévy jump has a significant impact on the nature of biochemical reaction system.

A model using discrete element method (DEM) was conducted to simulate vibration assisted mechanical polishing micro-structured surface process by particle flow code in three dimensions (PFC3D). The effect laws of vibration frequency and amplitude on abrasive grains and polishing force were researched in detail according to the simulation results. The effects of vibration on the particles average motion velocity in one fluid cell were researched, and the simulation results show that average velocity increases with increase of vibration frequency and amplitude on the whole. The effects of vibration on the unbalanced force acting on the workpiece surface were quantified at first. The changes of average unbalanced force obviously increase for low feed rate with increase of frequency and increase approximately linearly with increase of amplitude. It is concluded that vibration with high frequency and great amplitude can significantly increase machining efficiency and improve surface quality in micro-structured surface polishing. In the process of machine tool cutting, there are strict geometric relations among the cutting edge curve / tool surface, machine tool movement and workpiece surface, and the machine tool movement is also related to the type of tool. Firstly, the forming methods of cutting workpiece surface are analyzed and summarized from the geometric point of view, and the scanning forming method and its geometric expression are studied, and the research technical route of forming turning scanning forming is put forward. Then, the mathematical modeling and Simulation of forming turning are carried out according to the proposed technical route. Finally, taking the groove of the inner ring of the formed turning ball bearing as an example, the mathematical modeling of the design surface of the workpiece and the machined surface of the workpiece is carried out. The radial dimension changes of the workpiece caused by the cutting force and tool wear are analyzed, and the simulation of the machined surface of the workpiece is carried out. © 2021, CC BY.

The variable configuration of the folding wings is beneficial to take into account the maneuverability and endurance of the aircraft. During the flight, the elastic deformation and folding motion of the folding wing will induce additional aerodynamic forces, which will produce new deformation and new aerodynamic forces on the wing structure, and this reciprocal coupling will make the folding wing response may tend to diverge and lead to structural damage. In this paper,the principle of geometric similarity is used to simplify the folding wing into a folding plate and study its rigid-flexible aerodynamic coupling dynamics, which has certain practical significance as well as the theoretical value.

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder globally. The eye’s retina is an extension of the brain and has great potential in PD screening. Recent studies have suggested that texture features extracted from retinal layers can be adopted as biomarkers for PD diagnosis under optical coherence tomography (OCT) images. Frequency domain learning techniques can enhance the feature representations of deep neural networks (DNNs) by decomposing frequency components involving rich texture features. Additionally, previous works have not exploited texture features for automated PD screening in OCT. Motivated by the above analysis, we propose a novel Adaptive Wavelet Filter (AWF) that serves as the Practical Texture Feature Amplifier to fully leverage the merits of texture features to boost the PD screening performance of DNNs with the aid of frequency domain learning. Specifically, AWF first enhances texture feature representation diversities via channel mixer, then emphasizes informative texture feature representations with the well-designed adaptive wavelet filtering token mixer. By combining the AWFs with the DNN stem, AWFNet is constructed for automated PD screening. Additionally, we introduce a novel Balanced Confidence (BC) Loss by mining the potential of sample-wise predicted probabilities of all classes and class frequency prior, to further boost the PD screening performance and trustworthiness of AWFNet. The extensive experiments manifest the superiority of our AWFNet and BC over state-of-the-art methods in terms of PD screening performance and trustworthiness. © 2025, CC BY-NC-SA.

This paper presents a study of optimal control design for a single-inverted pendulum(SIP)system with the multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO)*** proportional derivative(PD)control algorithm is utilized to control the *** the SIP system is nonlinear and the output(the pendulum angle)cannot be directly controlled(it is under-actuated),the PD control gains are not tuned with classical *** this work,the MOPSO method is used to obtain the best PD *** use of multi-objective optimization algorithm allows the control design of the system without the need of linearization,which is not provided by using classical *** multi-objective optimal control design of the nonlinear system involves four design parameters(PD gains)and six objective functions(time-domain performance indices).The HausdorfF distances of consecutive Pareto sets,obtained in the MOPSO iterations,are computed to check the convergence of the MOPSO *** MOPSO algorithm finds the Pareto set and the Pareto front *** simulations and experiments of the rotary inverted pendulum system are done to verify this design *** and experimental results show that the multi-objective optimal controls offer a wide range of choices including the ones that have comparable performances to the linear quadratic regulator(LQR)control.
