In consideration of the different servicing types and various orbital spatial relationships, the paper proposes an orbital maneuver strategies model of on-orbit service vehicle (OSV) based on multiple decision variables for the problem of multispacecraft rendezvous mission. We establish a variety of mathematical models of orbit maneuver strategies, and formulate the appropriate time energy’s numerical model for different service types, adding orbital spatial relationship and service type as design variables, finally determine the optimal maneuver strategies of OSV. The paper selects two interim circle orbits as example. We select the orbit transfer strategies for service vehicle. We also calculate the relationship of transfer time and energy consumption according to the time energy’s consumption requirements. © 2014 WIT Press.

In this paper, we propose a novel megawatt-class wind turbine gear train optimal design method based on genetic algorithm. Firstly, we construct an objective function to obtain the optimal quality of gear train with the constrain conditions of ratio, adjacency, assemble, gear bending fatigue and gear surface contact fatigue limitations. Then, genetic algorithm is applied to achieve the optimal parameter of the objective function. Finally, the finite element analysis method is taken to verify the feasibility of the optimization results. One type of wind turbine gearbox is given as the detail example to verify the effective of proposed method, and the verification results show that the presented method can achieve good effect for wind turbine gearbox. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015.

Recently, with the obvious increasing number of cardiovascular disease, the automatic classification research of Electrocardiogram signals (ECG) has been playing a significantly important part in the clinical diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. In this paper, a 1D convolution neural network (CNN) based method is proposed to classify ECG signals. The proposed CNN model consists of five layers in addition to the input layer and the output layer, i.e., two convolution layers, two down sampling layers and one full connection layer, extracting the effective features from the original data and classifying the features automatically. This model realizes the classification of 5 typical kinds of arrhythmia signals, i.e., normal, left bundle branch block, right bundle branch block, atrial premature contraction and ventricular premature contraction. The experimental results on the public MIT-BIH arrhythmia database show that the proposed method achieves a promising classification accuracy of 97.5%, significantly outperforming several typical ECG classification methods. © 2017 IEEE.

MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are closely related to numerous complex human diseases,therefore,exploring miRNA-disease associations(MDAs)can help people gain a better understanding of complex disease *** increasing number of computational methods have been developed to predict ***,the sparsity of the MDAs may hinder the performance of many *** addition,many methods fail to capture the nonlinear relationships of miRNA-disease network and inadequately leverage the features of network and neighbor *** this study,we propose a deep matrix factorization model with variational autoencoder(DMFVAE)to predict potential *** first decomposes the original association matrix and the enhanced association matrix,in which the enhanced association matrix is enhanced by self-adjusting the nearest neighbor method,to obtain sparse vectors and dense vectors,***,the variational encoder is employed to obtain the nonlinear latent vectors of miRNA and disease for the sparse vectors,and meanwhile,node2vec is used to obtain the network structure embedding vectors of miRNA and disease for the dense ***,sample features are acquired by combining the latent vectors and network structure embedding vectors,and the final prediction is implemented by convolutional neural network with channel *** evaluate the performance of DMFVAE,we conduct five-fold cross validation on the HMDD v2.0 and HMDD v3.2 datasets and the results show that DMFVAE performs ***,case studies on lung neoplasms,colon neoplasms,and esophageal neoplasms confirm the ability of DMFVAE in identifying potential miRNAs for human diseases.

A compact coplanar waveguide multiband antenna based on an open resonant ring is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna is fabricated on FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.4 and a small size of 23 × 23 × 1.6mm3. In the design process of the antenna, the deformed circular split ring metamaterial (RSRR) is introduced to realize the broadband and multi frequency characteristics of the antenna. The two frequency bands of the antenna are 2.91-3.63GHz (relative bandwidth 22%), 4.19-9.32GHz (relative bandwidth 75.9%), covering WiMax (3.4/5.5GHz), lower C-band (4.41GHz), upper C-band (6.9GHz), WLAN (5.4/5.8GHz), lower X-band (8.7GHz) wireless standards, S11 ≤ -10dB. High frequency structure simulator (HFSS) is used to simulate the antenna structure, which has uniform radiation characteristics. © 2022 IEEE.

Background: Rolling bearings are widely used as core components in mechanical equipment. Most bearings are equipped with a cage. However, when bearings work under conditions of large load and high speed, the cage will produce violent friction and collision between the rolling body and the rings of the bearing, which will reduce the stability of the bearing operation and even fracture the cage. Bearing cage significantly impacts the rotational accuracy and life of the bearing. Therefore, in recent years, many scholars have begun researching cageless rolling bearings. The cageless rolling bearing eliminates the various adverse effects brought about by the cage and reduces the weight of the bearing. However, the bearing structure must be reasonably designed to eliminate the reverse friction between adjacent rolling elements in cageless cases. Therefore, it is essential to design the structure of cageless rolling bearings and study their performance. Objective: By analyzing and summarizing the research on cageless rolling bearings in recent years, the current problems and the future development of cageless rolling bearings are analyzed to provide a reference for researchers in the related fields. Method: This paper reviews representative patents related to cageless rolling bearings, discusses the structure and performance of various cageless rolling bearings, and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages, mainly including full complement cageless bearings, isolation element bearings, and special cageless bearings. Each type of bearing is analyzed through ball bearings and roller bearings. Results: Through the analysis of the related patents on cageless rolling bearings, it is found that the main problems affecting the development of cageless rolling bearings are the irregular collision of rolling elements with each other, the friction between rolling elements and the adjacent elements, and the difficulty in machining the particular shape isolation and raceway. Linear Subspace Surrogate Modeling for Large-Scale Expensive Single/Multi-Objective Optimization

Despite that the surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms have achieved great success in addressing expensive optimization problems, they still suffer from stiff challenges when the number of dimensions of problems becomes large. The primary reason lies in that it is very hard to build an acceptable surrogate model in the high-dimensional search space with small amounts of evaluated historical data in evolution. To tackle this issue, we suggest an effective surrogate modeling method for large-scale expensive optimization in this paper, where the models are built on a number of linear subspaces instead of the original search space. Specifically, a linear subspace is constructed by a pair of points/solutions which are generated based on the set of elite solutions. For each linear subspace, several historical solutions are first associated according to their distance to the linear subspace, and then a surrogate model is trained by the associated solutions and used to evaluate the offspring. To ensure the exploration and exploitation capacity of the proposed method, these linear subspaces and the surrogate models are updated after a few iterations. Experimental results on CEC’2010 and CEC’2013 single-objective optimization problems with up to 1500 decision variables show that the proposed algorithm is superior over six comparison algorithms. Moreover, we also extend the proposed algorithm to multi-objective optimization problems and verified its competitiveness on problems with up to 1500 decision variables. IEEE

Background: Total talar replacement (TTR) using a personalized customized total talar prosthesis (TTP) is an emerging and promising surgical option for the treatment of ankle problems. However, how to solve ankle instability after total talar replacement, and the influence of related solutions on foot biomechanics has not been investigated. Methods: Our preliminary studies have found that enlarging a personalized total talar prosthesis (TTP0) by 1.5 % along the coronal axis (TTP-FP1.5) and reconstructing the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) significantly can enhance ankle stability. However, there is a lack of insight into the effect of the two options on biomechanics. Consequently, this work constructed anatomically detailed finite element models of the foot, including an intact model and four surgical models, including replacement of TTP0, replacement of TTP-FP1.5, and two models of TTP-coupled ATFL reconstruction. Biomechanical differences were evaluated by numerical simulation of a balanced-standing and three characteristic instants of the stand phase. Results: Changes in plantar pressure distribution, joint contact pressure and force transmission, von Mises stress on bone, and prosthesis stress were predicted and analyzed. It was found that significant changes in foot biomechanics occurred after TTP-FP1.5 replacement compared to TTP0 replacement. In contrast, no ligament reconstruction versus ATFL reconstruction exerts a minor effect on biomechanics. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the shape of the prosthesis is the primary factor affecting foot biomechanics after total talar replacement. In contrast, reconstruction of the ATFL has only a minimal effect on the biomechanics of the foot. The above findings will provide a solid basis for the improvement of TTR surgical plans in clinical. © 2025 European Foot and Ankle Society
