The recent wave of the artificial intelligence(AI)revolution has aroused unprecedented interest in the intelligentialize of human *** an essential component that bridges the physical world and digital signals,flexible sensors are evolving from a single sensing element to a smarter system,which is capable of highly efficient acquisition,analysis,and even perception of vast,multifaceted *** challenging from a manual perspective,the development of intelligent flexible sensing has been remarkably facilitated owing to the rapid advances of brain-inspired AI innovations from both the algorithm(machine learning)and the framework(artificial synapses)*** review presents the recent progress of the emerging AI-driven,intelligent flexible sensing *** basic concept of machine learning and artificial synapses are *** new enabling features induced by the fusion of AI and flexible sensing are comprehensively reviewed,which significantly advances the applications such as flexible sensory systems,soft/humanoid robotics,and human activity *** two of the most profound innovations in the twenty-first century,the deep incorporation of flexible sensing and AI technology holds tremendous potential for creating a smarter world for human beings.

Plane-controlled growth strategy improves electrochemical performance of cobalt-free LiNi0.9Mn0.1O2 cathode

The ultra-high nickel-layered cathodes（Ni ≥ 90 %） has garnered significant attention due to its high specific capacity. However, the widespread application of ultra-high nickel-layered cathodes still suffers limitation by structural instability and poor rate performance. Herein, a crystal-face-induced strategy is proposed to enhance rate and cycling performances of the electrode by constructing rapid Li+diffusion channel and reducing internal grain boundaries of secondary particles. The crystal-face-induced strategy facilitates the growth of {010} lattice plane. Highly exposed {010} planes provide wide-open and unobstructed channels for Li+deintercalation/intercalation, enhances the electrode diffusion kinetics, and thus improves the electrode rate performance. In addition, this strategy promotes the primary particle growth, reduces the grain boundaries of secondary particles and mitigates the electrode/electrolyte interface side reactions, enhancing the structural stability and cycling life of the electrode. Accordingly, the modified sample achieved a reversible specific capacity of 198.3 mAh g-1at 1 C(1 C = 180 mA g-1) and maintained a capacity retention rate of 88.5 % after 100 cycles, higher than that of the original sample(73.6 %, 146 mAh g-1). At the high rate of 5 C, it can maintain a high specific capacity of 178mAh g-1（capacity retention rate of 99 %） after 150 cycles. This work is a leap in ultra-high nickel-layered cathodes development and provides insights into the design of electrode materials for other batteries.

Designing electrochemical catalysts has become a research hotspot due to their accelerating the polysulfide conversion of the sulfur cathode to inhibit the“shuttle effect”in lithium-sulfur ***,it is still a great challenge to design the heterogeneous selective electrochemical catalyst for inhibiting the“shuttle effect”.Herein,nickel cobalt phosphide and cobalt phosphide as the heterogeneous catalyst active sites embedded in the nitrogen-doped hollow carbon nanocages(NiCoP@CoP/NC)are reported,used for multi-step and multi-phase sulfur electrode reaction,and it is found that metal-sulfur d-p hybridization can effectively indicate the intrinsic catalytic activity of metal *** of labor and cooperation of the bi-active NiCoP@CoP as heterogeneous catalysts propel the stepwise polysulfide *** and CoP sites preferentially accelerate the long-chain polysulfide conversion reaction(S_(8)■LiPSs)and the short-chain polysulfide conversion reactions(LiPSs■Li_(2)S),***,the hollow and porous N-doped carbon structure can successfully suppress the volume effect and improve the conductivity of the sulfur *** unique design can obtain an effective inhibition of the shuttle effect and rapid electrode *** a result,Li-S batteries demonstrate a high initial capacity of 1063 mAh g^(-1) and a low-capacity decay of 0.04% per cycle within 1000 *** work provides a feasible idea for the design of host materials in Li-S batteries.

Enhancing the terrain adaptability of a multirobot cooperative transportation system via novel connectors and optimized cooperative strategies

Design of Automatic Loading and Unloading Manipulator for CNC Gear Milling Machine

Background: At present, due to the widespread use of robotic arms for the automatic loading and unloading of CNC gear milling machines, there has been an increase in patents related to robotic arms. However, these robotic arms have issues of low efficiency and large space occupation. To solve these problems, a CNC gear milling machine with an automatic loading and unloading manipulator device needs to be designed. Methods: This paper first designs the overall scheme of the automatic loading and unloading manipulator, and then uses Solidworks to establish a three-dimensional model. Finite element analysis software is used to analyze and simulate the deformation, stress distribution, and service life of the key components in the overall device. Finally, a prototype of the robotic arm is created based on the simulation optimization results. Results: This paper designs a new type of automatic loading and unloading manipulator device for CNC gear milling machines, which is different from existing patents in that all its components are installed inside the machine tool protective cover. In production experiments, the operation was found to be stable and reliable, and the loading and unloading process was completed at a speed of 11s/time, consistently exceeding the manual maximum speed of 19s/time. The results indicate that the proposed clamp storage system and core rod perforation feeding method are effective. Conclusion: The new design solves the problems of low efficiency and large space occupation in existing robotic arm patents. © 2023 Bentham Science Publishers.
