Hydrodynamic cavitation,as an efficient technique applied in many physical and chemical treatment methods,has been widely used by various industries and in several technological *** generators,designed with specific structures and parameters,can produce cavitation effects,thereby enabling effective treatment and reasonable transformation of *** paper reviews the design principles,performance,and practical applications associated with different types of cavitation generators,aiming to provide theoretical support for the optimization of these *** systematically analyzes the underpinning mechanisms and the various factors influencing the cavitation phenomena,also conducting a comparative analysis of the performance of different types of *** applications dealing with wastewater treatment,chemical reaction acceleration,and other fields are discussed together with the advantages,disadvantages,and applicability of each type of cavitation *** also explore research progress in areas such as cavitation stability,energy efficiency,and equipment design *** study concludes by forecasting the application prospects of intelligent design and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)in optimizing and advancing cavitation *** proposes new ideas for the further development of cavitation technology and highlights directions for its widespread future application.

Owing to their low flexibility,poor processability and a lack of responsiveness,inorganic materials are usually non-ideal for constructing a living ***,to date,lifelike materials with structural hierarchies and adaptive properties usually rely on light and soft organic molecules,although few exceptions have been acquired using two-dimensional(2D)inorganic ***,with a systematic study on the gelation behavior of carbon-based 0D quantum dots,1D nanotubes,and 3D fullerenes,we find that acidified 1D carbon nanotubes(CNTs)can serve as an alternative building block for fabricating purely inorganic biomimetic soft *** as-prepared CNT gels exhibit not only a pH-or photothermal-triggered mechanical and tribological adaptivity,which allows them to simulate the behavior of sea cucumbers,peacock mantis shrimps,and mammalian muscles or cortical bones,but also a unique damping property that is similar to spider’s cuticular *** high elasticity,effective lubrication,excellent biocompatibility,and controllable friction and wear also allow them to function as a new type of smart lubricants,whose tribological properties can be regulated either by its internal pH changes or spatiotemporally by near-infrared(NIR)light irradiations,free of any toxic and flammable base oils or additives.

This paper introduces D-Fusion SLAM, an advanced VSLAM system based on ORB-SLAM2. D-Fusion SLAM integrates depth information to enhance feature selection, aiming to improve accuracy and speed in visual SLAM applications. The system mainly comprises two modules: an image grid filtering module based on grayscale information and a feature selection module integrating depth information. These modules effectively eliminate redundant and useless features, ensuring high-quality features for pose estimation. We tested D-Fusion SLAM on the TUM dataset and compared it with ORB-SLAM2. Experimental results demonstrate that D-Fusion SLAM outperforms ORB-SLAM2, significantly enhancing the system's accuracy and robustness. © 2025, Politechnica University of Bucharest. Li-richening strategy in Li_(2)ZrCl_(6) lattice towards enhanced ionic conductivity

All-solid-state Li batteries(ASSLBs) with solid-state electrolytes(SSEs) are exciting candidates for nextgeneration energy storage and receive considerable attention owing to their reliability. Halide SSEs are promising candidates due to their excellent stability against 4 V-class layered cathodes. Compared with Li3InCl6or Li_(3)ScCl_(6), the low ionic conductivity of Li_(2)ZrCl_(6)(LZC) is a challenge despite its low raw-material cost. Herein, we report a family of Li-Richened chloride, Li_(2+2x)Zr_(1–x)MxCl_(6), which can be used in highperformance ASSLBs owing to its high ionic conductivity(up to 0.62 mS cm^(-1)). The theoretical(ab initio molecular dynamics simulations) and experimental results prove that the strategy of aliovalent substitution with divalent metals to obtain Li-Richened LZC is effective in improving Li^(+)conductivity in SSEs. By combining Li_(2.1)Zr_(0.95)Mg_(0.05)Cl_(6)(Mg5-LZC) with a Li–In anode and a LiCoO_(2)cathode, a room-temperature ASSLBs with excellent long-term cycling stability(88% capacity retention at 0.3C for 100 cycles) and highrate capability(121 m A h g^(-1)at 1C) is reported. This exploratory work sheds light on improving the Li^(+)conductivity of low-cost LZC-family SSEs for constructing high performance ASSLBs.

Structure-free containment control for uncertain underactuated multiple Euler-Lagrange systems

This article studies the problem of structure-free distributed containment control for uncertain underactuated multiple Euler-Lagrange systems(MELSs) considering disturbances by using a layered approach. First, the second layer is the virtual layer constructed artificially for hierarchical control. We move all virtual nodes to the convex hull formed by leaders in the first layer by implementing containment control algorithms on all virtual nodes. Then, the third layer is the following layer, and we propose an adaptive robust tracking controller to ensure that each follower in the third layer tracks the corresponding virtual node in the second layer. So far, the underactuated MELSs can achieve containment control. Furthermore,through the theoretical derivation, sufficient conditions are obtained to achieve the objective of structure-free containment control. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed stratified structure-free containment control method is verified by a simulation example.

Contact Mechanism of Rail Grinding with Open-Structured Abrasive Belt Based on Pressure Grinding Plate

The current research of abrasive belt grinding rail mainly focuses on the contact mechanism and structural *** with the closed structure abrasive belt grinding,open-structured abrasive belt grinding has excellent performance in dynamic stability,consistency of grinding quality,extension of grinding mileage and improvement of working ***,in the contact structure design,the open-structured abrasive belt grinding rail using a profiling pressure grinding plate and the closed structure abrasive belt using the contact wheel are different,and the contact mechanisms of the two are *** this paper,based on the conformal contact and Hertz theory,the contact mechanism of the pressure grinding plate,abrasive belt and rail is *** finite element simulation and static pressure experiment,the contact behavior of pressure grinding plate,abrasive belt and rail under single concentrated force,uniform force and multiple concentrated force was studied,and the distribution characteristics of contact stress on rail surface were *** results show that under the same external load,there are three contact areas under the three loading *** outer contour of the middle contact area is rectangular,and the inner contour is *** the contact area at both ends,the stress is extremely small under a single concentrated force,the internal stress is drop-shaped under a uniform force,and the internal stress under multiple concentration forces is *** with the three,the maximum stress is the smallest and the stress distribution is more uniform under multiple concentrated ***,the multiple concentrated forces is the best grinding pressure loading *** research provides support for the application of rail grinding with open-structured abrasive belt based on pressure grinding plate,such as contact mechanism and grinding pressure mode selection.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is one of the recognized non-pharmaceutical treatment methods worldwide. Acupuncture, as a form of TCM, uses needle stimulation on specific acupoints to treat various diseases, especially for some difficult and complicated conditions. However, traditional acupuncture has some limitations, such as the difficulty of operation, long treatment time, and uncertain therapeutic effects. In order to address these issues, this paper proposes a handheld automatic acupuncture device that can perform acupuncture automatically. The device uses a linear actuator and a rotating motor to achieve two common acupuncture techniques, namely needle thrusting and lifting, and twisting, respectively. The two actions are controlled by Arduino to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. Through 3D modeling and prototype experiments, we found that the device reduces human errors and achieves typical acupuncture treatment techniques such as needle thrusting and lifting and twisting. Therefore, it is expected to promote the quantification of acupuncture treatment and potentially replace doctors in performing acupuncture, thus reducing unnecessary medical accidents. © 2024 SPIE.

Power-assisted upper-limb exoskeletons are primarily used to improve the handling efficiency and load ***,kinematic mismatch between the kinematics and biological joints is a major problem in most existing exoskeletons,because it reduces the boosting effect and causes pain and long-term joint damage in *** this study,a shoulder augmentation exoskeleton was designed based on a parallel mechanism that solves the shoulder dislocation problem using the upper arm as a passive ***,the human–machine synergy and wearability of the exoskeleton system were improved without increasing the volume and weight of the system.A parallel mechanism was used as the structural body of the shoulder joint exoskeleton,and its workspace,dexterity,and stiffness were ***,an ergonomic model was developed using the principle of virtual work,and a case analysis was performed considering the lifting of heavy *** results show that the upper arm reduces the driving force requirement in coordinated motion,enhances the load capacity of the system,and achieves excellent assistance.
