Accurate and efficient workpiece measurement is crucial for workpiece processing and quality monitoring. Non-contact optical measurement methods have gained more attention due to their simplicity, efficiency, and flexibility compared to complicated and inefficient contact measurement methods. Multi-view registration of measurement data is a key issue in workpiece measurement, as it relies on the system's geometric accuracy and motion stability, presenting challenges such as the insufficient overlap of multi-viewpoint cloud data and cumulative error. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a multi-view planning and registration algorithm with a low overlap rate. The multi-view planning algorithm employs a greedy method to plan the scanning viewpoints of the workpiece to obtain complete point cloud data efficiently. The multi-view registration algorithm extracts features using a multi-scale geometric feature extraction network, matches the features based on the Hungarian algorithm, builds a graph, and optimizes workpiece positions based on the G2O algorithm for multi-view registration, effectively reducing cumulative error. Measurement experiments on blade workpieces confirm the feasibility of the proposed algorithms. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The nonlinear behaviors in the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), for instance, parameters uncertainties, chaos oscillation and disturbances can make a serious menace to the system stability and even deteriorate system performance. The analog circuit of PMSM is constructed, which provides a basic theoretical basis for the construction of its actual circuit. To handle these nonlinear behaviors, an adaptive prescribed performance backstepping controller integrated with the hyperbolic tangent tracking differentiator (HTTD), radial basis function (RBF) neural network, Nussbaum function and prescribed performance function (PPF) is designed. The stability analysis fully proves that all signals of the PMSM system are uniformly ultimately bounded. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the designed controller. © 2023 IEEE.

Superhydrophobic Fe-based amorphous coating fabricated by detonation spraying with excellent anti-corrosion and self-cleaning properties

Amorphous alloys without crystalline defects(dislocation,crystal boundary)are ideal hydrophobic coating materials due to their low surface *** work used a synergistic method of detonation spraying and surface modification to obtain the superhydrophobic Febased amorphous coatings with high hardness and dense structure on the Q 235 *** results showed that the water contact angles(WCA)of the superhydrophobic coating was 160°±3.6°,and water droplets could bounce off the superhydrophobic coating surface,illustrating the excellent self-cleaning performance of ***,the corrosion current density(i_(corr))of the superhydrophobic coating further decreased by 2 orders of magnitude down to8.008×10^(-8)A·cm^(-2)compared to the as-deposited coating with 5.473×10^(-6)A·cm^(-2);the corrosion potential(E_(corr))of the superhydrophobic coating shifted by 34 mV to the positive side compared with that of the as-deposited coating(-310 mV).Likewise,the impedance modulus|Z|values of the superhydrophobic coating increased by nearly2 orders of magnitude up to 1×10^(5.6)compared to the asdeposited coating with 1×10^(3.8).Even through lasting immersion in NaCl for 10 days,|Z|values of the superhydrophobic coating were still much higher than those of the as-deposited *** superhydrophobic Fe-based amorphous coatings could respond to their applications under extreme conditions due to their excellent hydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties,illustrating their promising future in aerospace,automotive,and machinery industries.

A pH-universal ORR catalyst with atomic Fe-heteroatom(N,S)sites for high-performance Zn-air batteries

Developing innovative,easy-to-manufacture,and non-Pt-group-metal(non-PGM)electrocatalysts is essential for the highly efficient oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,we report a self-sacrificing post-synthetic strategy to synthesize highly loaded Fe-isolated single atoms anchored on the hierarchical porous N,S co-doped carbon matrix(Fe-SAs/S,N-C/rGO).The optimized Fe-SAs/S,N-C/rGO exhibits excellent ORR activity in the pH-universal range with half-wave potentials of 0.89,0.80,and 0.60 V in alkaline,acidic,and neutral media,comparable to the commercial Pt/C(0.85,0.81,and 0.64 V,respectively).The homemade liquid Zn-air battery(ZAB)with Fe-SAs/S,N-C/rGO as the cathode catalyst displays an open-circuit voltage(OCV)of~1.61 V,discharging specific capacity of 817.23 mAh·g^(-1),and long-term durability of~1865 cycles,outperforming those of the device with commercial Pt/C+RuO_(2)(1.49 V,657.32 mAh·g^(-1),and~120 cycles,respectively).Intriguingly,the corresponding flexible solidstate ZAB delivers satisfactory OCV,peak power density,foldability,and cycling stability at room temperature,as well as adaptability at a low temperature of -10℃.Besides,density functional theory(DFT)calculation reveals that the atomic FeN_(3)S moieties in Fe-SAs/S,N-C/rGO can cause charge redistribution and lower the binding strength of oxygen-containing intermediates,resulting in accelerated ORR kinetics and optimized catalytic *** work provides insights into experimental and theoretical guidance towards non-PGM electrocatalysts for efficient energy conversion.

Polyphonic sound event localization and detection based on Multiple Attention Fusion ResNet

Sound event localization and detection have been applied in various fields. Due to the polyphony and noise interference, it becomes challenging to accurately predict the sound event and their occurrence locations. Aiming at this problem, we propose a Multiple Attention Fusion ResNet, which uses ResNet34 as the base network. Given the situation that the sound duration is not fixed, and there are multiple polyphonic and noise, we introduce the Gated Channel Transform to enhance the residual basic block. This enables the model to capture contextual information, evaluate channel weights, and reduce the interference caused by polyphony and noise. Furthermore, Split Attention is introduced to the model for capturing cross-channel information, which enhances the ability to distinguish the polyphony. Finally, Coordinate Attention is introduced to the model so that the model can focus on both the channel information and spatial location information of sound events. Experiments were conducted on two different datasets, TAU-NIGENS Spatial Sound Events 2020, and TAU-NIGENS Spatial Sound Events 2021. The results demonstrate that the proposed model significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods under multiple polyphonic and noise-directional interference environments and it achieves competitive performance under a single polyphonic environment. ©2024 the Author(s), licensee AIMS Press. From ultra-low friction to superlubricity state of black phosphorus:Enabled by the critical oxidation and load

Based on the density functional theory(DFT),we investigate the friction properties of inevitable oxidized black phosphorus(o-BP).o-BP with the weaker interlayer adhesion exhibits their great potential as a solid *** the zero load,the friction property of o-BP is adjusted by its oxidation ***,ultra-low friction of P4O2(50%oxidation,O:P=2:4=50%)is obtained,which is attributed to the upper O atoms with lower sliding resistance in the O channel formed by lower layer O *** attractive,we observe superlubricity behavior of o-BP at the critical load/distance due to the flattening potential energy surface(PES).The flattening PES is controlled by the electrostatic role for the high-load(P4O3,O:P=3:4=75%),and by the electrostatic and dispersion roles for the low-load(P4O2).Distinctly,the transform from ultra-low friction to superlubricity state of black phosphorus(BP)can be achieved by critical oxidation and load,which shows an important significance in engineering *** addition,negative friction behavior of o-BP is a general phenomenon(Z>Z_(min),Z_(min)is the interlayer distances between the outermost P atoms of minimum load.),while its surface-surface model is different from the fold mechanism of the tip-surface model(Z_(0)Z_(min)).In summary,o-BP improves the friction performance and reduces the application limitation,comparing to graphene(Gr),MoS2,and their oxides.

Organopolysulfides as high-performance cathode materials for rechargeable aluminum-ion batteries

The development of aluminum-ion batteries(AIBs)is significantly confined by the limited high-performance cathode ***,organopolysulfides are investigated as active cathode materials to fabricate AIBs.A liquid-phase phenyl tetrasulfide(PTS)can deliver a capacity above 600 mAh g−1 after activation,with the maintenance of 253 mAh g−1 after 100 *** to the different S locations,PTS shows several voltage plateaus and an average voltage of∼0.7 V ***3+/Al with no decay upon *** importantly,the liquid PTS can serve as a high-Coulombic-efficiency cathode(∼99.88%±0.57%after stabilization),enlighting the design of high-efficiency and low-resistance conversion-type cathode materials for *** experimental characterizations accompanied by theoretical calculations,it is found that PTS undergoes stepwise reaction procedures during discharge with final products of Al2S3 and AlCl2-coordinated phenyl sulfide,and partially reforms with elemental S and other organopolysulfides during *** study demonstrates new opportunities for the design of high-efficiency conversion-type cathode materials for advanced AIBs.

The explosive growth of communication technology has given rise to a large number of high-quality electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbing materials,and single-component materials are often difficult to satisfy the *** this study,we propose an etching method of molten chlorine salts under vac-uum to prepare Cl-terminated MXene(MX-Cl)which can meet the requirements of"thin,light,wide and strong"and realize the application of single-component absorbing *** the X and Ku bands,MX-Cl achieves a strong reflection loss of-42.99 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth of 3.44 GHz with the 1.2 mm matching *** presence of Cl groups restricts the free electron movement of surface-Ti,which controls the conductivity of the MX-Cl and optimizes its *** polarization induced by Ti-Cl,interfacial polarization between MXene layers and multiple scattering effects inside the layers all significantly increase the dielectric loss of the MX-Cl *** study provides a new approach to investigating the effect of single atoms on the dielectric properties of *** work also offers a simple and low-cost process for the preparation of single-component MXene EMW-absorbing materials.
