Background: In the manufacturing setup process of weapons, aviation, and aerospace, docking assembly is a key component in determining manufacturing efficiency and quality. The traditional docking method uses manual alignment, which depends on the experience and operation level of the workers, so the docking accuracy is low and the installation speed is slow. In response to this problem, how to achieve automatic docking of weapons and cabins has become a key technology. Objective: The objective of this study is to provide an overview of recent key technologies for automatic docking systems and introduce their respective classification, characteristics, and development. Methods: This paper reviews the patents and products related to the key technologies of automatic docking systems. The structural features, methodological principles, control characteristics and applications of the patents and products are summarized. Results: The key technologies related to different aspects of an automatic docking system are compared and analyzed, and the structural features, and methodological principles are also summarized. The problems of the current key technologies are analyzed, and the current status of research and future directions of the automatic docking system are discussed. Conclusion: According to the key technologies related to different aspects of the automatic docking system, they can be divided into motion mechanism, pose detection technology, and computer control technology. The accuracy, compliance, and flexibility of the automatic docking system can be improved by choosing the proper key technology. Further improvements are needed in terms of fast performance, robustness and authenticity, and more patents on key technologies of automatic docking systems should be invented. © 2024 Bentham Science Publishers.

Surface-functionalized design of blood-contacting biomaterials for preventing coagulation and promoting hemostasis

The anticoagulation and hemostatic properties of blood-contacting materials are opposite lines of research, but their realization mechanisms are inspired by each other. Contact between blood and implantable biomaterials is a classic problem in tribological research, as both antithrombotic and hemostatic materials are closely associated with this problem. Thrombus formation on the surfaces of blood-contacting biomedical devices can detrimentally affect their performance and patient life, so specific surface functionalization is required. Currently, intensive research has focused on the development of super-lubricated or super-hydrophobic coatings, as well as coatings that deliver antithrombotic drugs. In addition, hemostatic biomaterials with porous structures, biochemical substances, and strongly adhesive hydrogels can be used to achieve rapid and effective hemostasis via physical or biochemical mechanisms. This article reviews methods of preparing anticoagulant coatings on material surfaces and the current status of rapid hemostatic materials. It also summarizes fundamental concepts for the design and synthesis of anticoagulant and hemostatic materials by discussing thrombosis and hemostasis mechanisms in biomedical devices and normal organisms. Because there are relatively few reports reviewing the progress in surface-functionalized design for anticoagulation and hemostasis, it is anticipated that this review can provide a useful summary of the applications of both bio-adhesion and bio-lubrication techniques in the field of biomedical engineering.

Currently,the enhancement in electromagnetic interference(EMI)performance of polymeric composite generally relies on either improving electrical conductivity(σ)for stronger electromagnetic(EM)reflections or tailoring structure for higher EM ***,we proposed a novel technique called cyclic pulsating pressure enhanced segregating structuration(CPP-SS),which can reinforce these two factors *** structural information was supplied by optical microscopy(OM)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),both of which confirmed the formation and evolution of segregate structured ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)/graphene ***,the result showed that CPP-SS can significantly improve theσof ***,advanced specific EMI shielding efficiency of 31.1 d B/mm was achieved for UHMWPE/graphene composite at 1-mm thickness and a low graphene loading of 5 wt%.Meanwhile,it also confirmed that the intrinsic disadvantage of poor mechanical properties of conventional segregated structure composites can be *** work is believed to provide a fundamental understanding of the structural and performance evolutions of segregated structured composites prepared under CPPSS,and to bring us a simple and efficient approach for fabricating high-performance,strong and light-weight polymeric EMI shields.

In order to achieve accurate quantitative evaluation of the ageing state of oil paper insulation,an evaluation method of polymerisation degree(DP)of oil-paper insulation based on Raman spectroscopic plot is *** covering the full ageing stage of oil-paper insulation were obtained by accelerated thermal ageing *** samples were tested by Raman spectra,and the Raman spectra were converted into Raman spectroscopic plot using Gramian angular *** extraction was performed on the images using local binary pattern(LBP),and 28 feature variables were selected by competitive adaptive reweighted sampling and uninformative variable ***,the DP prediction model was constructed by long short-term memory neural network(LSTM).The training accuracy exceeded 90%,and the mean absolute deviation of DP prediction for 45 test samples was only 40.70.A new visual detection method for transformer ageing diagnosis is presented.

Study on the influence of food emulsion components on its lubrication characteristics and smooth perception

Due to the increasing risk of obesity and cardiovascular diseases caused by high-fat diets,low-fat foods have become a priority demand for consumers’***,the smoothness perception and scientific assessment methods of the existing low-fat foods should be *** this study,three food emulsions were prepared,and their lubrication characteristics,sensory evaluation of smoothness,and electroencephalogram(EEG)signals were assessed to preliminarily investigate the effects of food emulsion components on their above *** results showed that fat substitute(FSU)and fat could significantly reduce coefficient of friction(CoF)of the food emulsions,with average CoF reduced by 28%and 63%compared to the original food *** addition,fat-enriched food emulsions continued to exhibit excellent lubrication characteristics after adding artificial saliva,with an average CoF reduced by 31.1%compared to that of the food emulsions without artificial *** FSU and fat improved the smoothness of food emulsions,and the lubricating properties of fat were more pronounced,with fat-enriched food emulsion which could provide a substantial improvement in smoothness compared to the fat-free food *** of subjects’EEG signals revealed that food emulsion with lower CoF and higher smoothness triggered higher P3 amplitudes and longer *** findings provide better insights into the scientific evaluation of food texture and the development of low-fat foods.

Predicting circRNA-Disease Associations by Using Multi-Biomolecular Networks Based on Variational Graph Auto-Encoder with Attention Mechanism

CircRNA-disease association(CDA) can provide a new direction for the treatment of diseases. However,traditional biological experiment is time-consuming and expensive, this urges us to propose the reliable computational model to predict the associations between circRNAs and diseases. And there is existing more and more evidence indicates that the combination of multi-biomolecular information can improve the prediction accuracy. We propose a novel computational model for CDA prediction named MBCDA, we collect the multi-biomolecular information including circRNA, disease, miRNA and lncRNA based on 6 databases, and construct three heterogeneous network among them, then the multi-heads graph attention networks are applied to these three networks to extract the features of circRNAs and diseases from different views, the obtained features are put into variational graph auto-encoder(VGAE) network to learn the latent distributions of the nodes, a fully connected neural network is adopted to further process the output of VGAE and uses sigmoid function to obtain the predicted probabilities of circRNA-disease *** a result, MBCDA achieved the values of AUC and AUPR under 5-fold cross-validation of 0.893 and 0.887. MBCDA was applied to the analysis of the top-25 predicted associations between circRNAs and diseases, these experimental results show that our proposed MBCDA is a powerful computational model for CDA prediction.

Dual-functional MnS_(2)/MnO_(2) heterostructure catalyst for efficient acidic hydrogen evolution reaction and assisted degradation of organic wastewater

The design and synthesis of non-precious metal dual-functional electrocatalysts through the modulation of electronic structure are important for the development of renewable hydrogen ***,MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC heterostructure dual-functional catalysts with ultrathin nanosheets were prepared by a twostep electrodeposition method for efficient acidic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) and degradation of organic wastewater(such as methylene blue(MB)).The electronic structure of Mn atoms at the MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC heterostructure interface is reconfigured under the joint action of S and O *** calculations show that the Mn d-band electron distribution in MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst has higher occupied states near the Fermi level compared to the MnO_(2) and MnS_(2) catalysts,which indicates that MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst has better electron transfer capability and catalytic *** MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalysts require overpotential of only 66 and 116 mV to reach current density of 10 and 100 mA cm^(-2)in MB/H_(2)SO_(4) *** MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst also has a low Tafel slope(26.72 mV dec^(-1)) and excellent stability(the performance does not decay after 20 h of testing).In addition,the MB removal efficiency of the MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst with a better kinetic rate(0.0226) can reach 97.76%,which is much higher than that of the MnO_(x)-CC catalyst(72.10%).This strategy provides a new way to develop efficient and stable non-precious metal dual-functional electrocatalysts for HER and organic wastewater degradation.

A Longitudinal and Lateral Coordinated control Method of Autonomous Vehicles Considering Time-varying Delay

In order to improve the control accuracy and stability of autonomous vehicles under large delay conditions, the paper proposes a longitudinal and lateral coordinated control method considering fixed sensor delay, actuator lag, and timevarying CAN communication delay. An adaptive all-pass filter time-delay estimator (AAPF-TDE) based on finite impulse response (FIR) and its improved strategies are designed to realize accurate online estimation of CAN communication delay. According to the estimated delay, a longitudinal and lateral coupling time-delay dynamics model with prediction revision and delay augmentation is constructed. A model predictive controller (MPC) combined with Lyapunov asymptotic stability constraints is then designed. CarSim/Simulink co-simulation and vehicle experiment results show that the proposed controller can improve the vehicle stability effectively while ensuring the longitudinal and lateral control accuracy under large delay conditions compared with the controller without considering delay or only considering fixed delay. A modified maxwell-pulse thermoplastic constitutive model of in-situ Ta-particle reinforced Zr-based bulk metallic glass composites

The impact of different Ta contents on the mechanical properties and thermoplastic forming ability of in-situ Taparticle reinforced Zr–Cu–Al–Ni bulk metallic glass composites was studied. The composition(Zr55Cu30Al10-Ni5)94Ta6with the best comprehensive performance was chose for a systematic investigation into its thermoplastic behavior in the supercooled liquid region（SLR）, with quantitative analysis conducted by the strain rate sensitivity index and activation volume. The steady-state flow stress and the stress overshoot intensity were augmented with deformation temperature decreasing, strain rate increasing, and the addition of the secondary phase, leading to a transition from Newtonian to non-Newtonian flow regime. The addition of the secondary phase deteriorated the rheological properties of the material. To solve the problem that the Maxwell-Pulse constitutive model showed an inability to accurately describe the steady-state flow process. A modified constitutive relationship, introducing the effect of the volume fraction of Ta particles on viscosity and elastic modulus in the steady-state flow process which was ignored in Maxwell-pulse model, was established. The fitting results of the true stress-strain curves of the modified Maxwell-pulse constitutive model were in better agreement with the experimental date than those of the Maxwell-pulse constitutive model, with higher prediction accuracy. The modified constitutive model well predicted the thermoplastic deformation behavior of(Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5)*** influence mechanism of Ta particles on the flow behavior was explained that Ta particles increased the viscosity of amorphous matrix, thereby hindering its flow and ultimately leading to an increase in flow stress.
