Circularly polarized light is widely used in wireless communications, polarized imaging and circular dichroism spectroscopy. The existing miniature circular polarization detection structure cannot guarantee high transmission efficiency and extinction ratio at the same time. In this paper, we propose a terahertz circularly polarized detection metasurface based on dielectric materials. The proposed structure can well distinguish the handedness of circularly polarized light. At 2.3Thz, the transmission efficiency is greater than 95% and the extinction ratio is greater than 250dB. I believe our design could facilitate the development of devices such as small biomedical imaging. © 2023 SPIE.

Background: China is a big country with a vast territory, in which gastropathy has become a common high-incidence disease in daily life. Gastroscopy is an important means of diagnosis of gastropathy, but the use of a gastroscope causes a lot of pain to patients. A cable-free, non-invasive and painless diagnosis and treatment tool, an active capsule endoscope robot, can solve this problem very well. Capsule robot has become a new development hotspot. Objective: The study aims to provide an overview of the active endoscope capsule robot and introduce its classification, characteristics and development. Methods: This paper summarizes various scientific research achievements of the active endoscope capsule robot. The structural characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of various active endoscope capsule robots are introduced. Results: The active endoscope capsule robot has been analyzed and compared to other models. Its typical characteristics have been summarized. The main problems in its development are analyzed, its development trend is prospected, and the research status and future of active endoscope capsule robot are discussed. Conclusion: The active capsule robot is classified into two categories: bionic and non-bionic. The analysis shows that the capsule robot is an effective and safe initiative and has a very broad application prospect for various gastrointestinal tests compared to gastroscope, and helps alleviate the pain of patients. © 2022 Bentham Science Publishers.

The service environment of the transmission shaft is complex, and it is frequently subjected to impact load. Impact fatigue is the main cause of its fatigue failure. In this study, a fatigue damage evolution analysis method of transmission shaft considering residual stress and hardness gradient is proposed under the framework of damage irreversible thermodynamics. Firstly, combined with the wave theory, the wave effect of impact stress wave is analyzed, the evolution equation of stress wave fluctuation behavior is established, and the evolution law of stress and strain field under the action of stress wave is analyzed. Then, based on the irreversible thermodynamic framework of damage, the thermodynamic state potential and dissipation potential of the damage process are studied, and the coupling characteristics of the damage evolution dynamic response and the intrinsic damage dissipation of the damaged material are analyzed. The damage evolution model of fatigue performance degradation considering residual stress and hardness gradient is established to identify the critical condition of intrinsic damage dissipation and describe the fatigue damage failure behavior. Finally, the cohesive element of the coupled damage constitutive is defined to simulate the damage evolution behavior of the substructure, and the influence of residual stress and hardness gradient on the damage evolution is explored. The results show that different initial crack forms have an important influence on the stress wave propagation behavior. The existence of residual tensile stress accelerates the process of fatigue damage accumulation, and the improvement of surface hardness can improve the fatigue resistance of the body.

Camouflaged object detection (COD) remains a challenging task in computer vision. Existing methods often resort to additional branches for edge supervision, incurring substantial computational costs. To address this, we propose the Co-Supervised Spotlight Shifting Network (CS3Net), a compact single-branch framework inspired by how shifting light source exposes camouflage. Our spotlight shifting strategy replaces multi-branch designs by generating supervisory signals that highlight boundary cues. Within CS3Net, a Projection Aware Attention (PAA) module is devised to strengthen feature extraction, while the Extended Neighbor Connection Decoder (ENCD) enhances final predictions. Extensive experiments on public datasets demonstrate that CS3Net not only achieves superior performance, but also reduces Multiply-Accumulate operations (MACs) by 32.13% compared to state-of-the-art COD methods, striking an optimal balance between efficiency and effectiveness. © 2025 IEEE.

In order to enhance the national research and development capability of large five-axis linkage machine tools, promote the improvement of performance and accuracy, promote industrialization, replace imports and meet the machining process requirements for large five-axis linkage machine tools in aviation and aerospace, this paper proposed a viaduct type five-axis gantry boring and milling machining centre. The centre's workbench is a floor standing platform, with the bed placed on both sides of the workbench. The two crossbeams are arranged back-to-back, and move longitudinally along the left and right guide rails (X-axis). The slide plate moves horizontally along the crossbeam guide rails (Y-axis), and the ram moves up and down along the slide plate (Z-axis). The double swing angle CNC universal milling head can achieve rotation around the Z-axis (C-axis) and X-axis (A-axis) to achieve five-axis simultaneous machining under the control of the CNC system. At the same time, the crossbeam of the machining centre has been structurally optimized to effectively reduce the weight of the moving parts, improve the dynamic performance of the machine tool and achieve a μ-level output of repeatable positioning accuracy for large strokes of the machine tool. © 2024, Cefin Publishing House. With the increasing development of intelligent robots and wearable electronics,the demand for high-performance flexible energy storage devices is drastically *** this study,flexible symmetric microsupercapacitors(MSCs)that could operate in a wide working voltage window were developed by combining laser-direct-writing graphene(LG)electrodes with a phosphoric acid-nonionic surfactant liquid crystal(PA-NI LC)gel *** increase the flexibility and enhance the conformal ability of the MSC devices to anisotropic surfaces,after the interdigitated LG formed on the polyimide(PI)film surface,the devices were further transferred onto a flexible,stretchable and transparent polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)substrate;this substrate displayed favorable flexibility and mechanical characteristics in the bending ***,the electrochemical performances of the symmetric MSCs with various electrode widths(300,400,500 and 600μm)were *** findings revealed that symmetric MSC devices could operate in a large voltage range(0–1.5 V);additionally,the device with a 300μm electrode width(MSC-300)exhibited the largest areal capacitance of 2.3 mF cm^(−2)at 0.07 mA cm^(−2)and an areal(volumetric)energy density of 0.72μWh cm−2(0.36 mWh cm^(−3))at 55.07μWcm−2(27.54mWcm−3),along with favorable mechanical and cycling *** charging for~20 s,two MSC-300 devices connected in series could supply energy to a calculator to operate for~130 s,showing its practical application potential as an energy storage ***,the device displayed favorable reversibility,stability and *** 12 months of aging in air at room temperature,its electrochemical performance was not altered,and after charging-discharging measurements for 5000 cycles at 0.07 mA cm^(−2),~93.6%of the areal capacitance was still retained;these results demonstrated its practical long-term application potential as an energy storage device.

Perovskite Solar Cells(PSCs)have attracted considerable attention because of their unique features and high ***,the stability of perovskite solar cells remains to be *** this study,we modified the TiO_(2)Electron Transport Layer(ETL)interface with PbCl_(2).The efficiency of the perovskite solar cells with carbon electrodes increased from 11.28%to 13.34%,and their stability obviously *** addition of PbCl_(2)had no effect on the morphology,crystal structure,and absorption property of the perovskite absorber ***,it affected the band energy level alignment of the solar cells and accelerated the electron extraction and transfer at the interface between the perovskite layer and the ETL,thus enhancing the overall photovoltaic *** interfacial modification of ETL with PbCl_(2)is a promising way for the potential commercialization of low-cost carbon electrode-based perovskite solar cells.
