Field balancing technique of a disc centrifuge for combined environmental test is presented. Considering the influence of machining error of the rotor, a novel method of signal acquisition is put forward to detect the machining error and pick up the real unbalanced vibration signal. The correlation filtering method is adopted to obtain the amplitude and the initial phase of vibration signal simultaneously. The mass-radius product and the phase of the original unbalance are identified by the influence coefficients method. Experimental results show that the proposed field balancing technique reduces the amplitude of the vibration from 29.7μm to 2.1μm.

Tikhonov regularization is an effective method for particle size inversion of Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (PCS). Regularization parameter selection is the key point of Tikhonov regularization algorithm for solving the first kind integral problem. In order to obtain the optimal regularization parameter, according to the Morozov discrepancy principal, this paper proposes an efficient regularization inversion method based on fast algorithm for implementing the problem of particle size distribution. Computer simulation data of monodisperse particles and bi-dispersed particles are inversed by this method respectively. The inversion results show that, when the noise level is 0~0.01, inversion results of fast algorithm are reasonable, however, when the noise level is greater than 0.005, discrepancy principal can't obtain correct inversion results. Therefore, Tikhonov regularization inversion method with fast algorithm has the advantages of high accuracy, tolerance of noises and fast speed in PCS inversion.

ZrO/Ti(CN) nano-ceramic die material with 5 mol.% YO(5Y-ZrO/Ti(CN)) was prepared with vacuum hot pressing technique at 1500 °C for 40 min at 30 MPa. The flexural strength, fracture toughness and hardness of this material is 814 MPa, 6.35 MPa·m1/2 and 11.87 GPa respectively, which is 114%, 37% and 17% higher than that of pure ZrO ceramic without any addition of YO and nano-Ti(CN). Results showed that the mechanical properties of the ZrO ceramic could be increased with the additions of nano-Ti(CN) and YO. Both SEM and TEM were used for the observation of the microstructure and crack propagation patterns, and the toughening/strengthening mechanisms were discussed. Results showed that grain size of 5Y-ZrO/Ti(CN) nano-ceramic die material was finer than that of pure ZrO, and some nano-sized grains were found on the grain boundary which showed the grain boundary pinning effect. The grain bridging, crack deflection, crack branching and transformation toughening also could improve the mechanical properties. Besides, the trans/inter-granular mixed fracture mode could consume large amounts of fracture energy, which is beneficial to toughening and strengthening of 5Y-ZrO/Ti(CN) nano-ceramic die material.

The sparse decomposition based on basic pursuit is an adaptive sparse expression of the signals. An adaptive basic pursuit algorithm that uses an impulse dictionary is introduced in this article for rolling bearing vibration signal processing and fault diagnosis. In the first, a new dictionary model is constructed according to the characteristics and mechanism of rolling bearing faults. Rotational speed of bearing, dimensions of bearing and bearing fault situation, among other parameters incorporates the new mode which could simulate the real fault impulse in different fault levels. Secondly a new method of dictionary establishment called adaptive impulse dictionary combine with basic pursuit introduced in this paper for bearing fault diagnosis. Adaptive impulse dictionary is created by changing characteristic parameters progressively, which make the dictionary built by this method has a lower redundancy and a higher relevance between each dictionary atom and the analyzed vibration signal. The basic pursuit algorithm of an adaptive impulse dictionary is adopted to analyze experiment signal of the early-stage fault signals and composite fault signals of the bearing. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the basic pursuit algorithm that uses the adaptive impulse dictionary.

For the current problems of resent ultrasonic machining driver, for example, output power is single and power regulation is not precise. This paper presents a new type of ultrasonic machining driver based on BUCK DC chopper. The new type of ultrasonic machining driver consists of STM32F106, DDS waveform generating circuit, signal processing circuit and the most important circuit which is BUCK DC chopper circuit. Principle of the power regulation, transmission's efficiency, the working principle and operating characteristic under current continuous mode of BUCK DC chopper circuit are established in this paper. The parameters related to BUCK DC chopper circuit are calculated. The system of ultrasonic machining driver is simulated by Matlab and related experiments of the driver were carried out. The experiments results show that the driver of new type based on DC chopper can achieved the expect function.
