This article summarizes the comparison between the preparation, structure and mechanical properties of long fiber reinforced thermoplastics (LFT) and short fiber reinforced thermoplastics (SFT). Both of the experiment and theory results showed that the mechanical properties of long glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics pellets (LGFRT) have been enhanced better than that of short glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics pellets (SGFRT) manufactured by molding procession. After regulation of the relative humidity by 50 % , the mechanical properties of 30 % ( weight percent) short glass fiber content in SFT ( SFT-PA6-SGF30 ) are similar to that of 40 % long glass fiber content in LFT. Howev- er, the density of the latter is about 17 % lower than that of the former. Thus, the corresponding weight of products is reduced by 13 % ;output rate is increased by 21% , and the cost is therefore significantly lowered. And it has the fol- lowing advantages: impact strength is increased by 87 % ; the proportion is reduced by 20 % ; molding cycle is short- ened by 10 % ;materials cost is saved by 20 % -30 % and the final total cost is saved by 30 % -40 %. So LFT (LFT-PP-LGF40) can replace SFT (SFT-PA6-SGF30) with the similar basic mechanical properties under normal tem- perature or 160 ℃ lower.

For surface hardening of metal,a quasi-Dammann grating (QDG) is proposed and fabricated to generate array spots with proportional-intensity *** get uniformly hardened band distribution and improve the wear resistance of the sample surface,a three-order QDG is designed to produce array spots with enhanced intensity in the *** design and fabrication of the QDG are described in *** surface profile of the fabricated grating was measured,which shows that the fabrication error is less than 2%.The laser beam intensity distribution shaped by the QDG was tested by a laser beam analyzer to verify the validity of the *** application of the QDG in the laser surface hardening of metal was experimentally investigated,and the results show that the hardness distribution of the modified layer and the wear resistance of the sample surface are improved significantly by using the QDG.

In order to solve the problem that the coverage area of ZigBee tree network is restricted by the depth, so that new nodes can not join the network and become a orphan, this paper introduces a project of expanding network coverage area. In this project, through the manual of the button, we can choose a qualified end device to convert to the router configuration, then the device as a router receives new nodes to join the network, The requirement would be realized by improving and innovating ZigBee protocol stack. The project works well in the experiment, it saves the device energy and expands the scope of network.

We demonstrate that a self-assembled graphene membrane can be used to mode-lock a fiber laser reliably. The membrane is formed at the liquid/air interface of reduced graphene oxide solution. The membrane was transferred onto the end-face of an optical fiber through physical adsorption, thus constituting a fiber-integrated SA.

Gear form grinding technology is widely used in the process of gear manufacturing. Grinding wheel dressing is the keytechnology of gear form grinding process. In this paper, several different grinding wheel dressing methods and the corresponding diamond roller dressing device are simply introduced. The technical parameters of grinding wheel dressing are respectively analyzed, including dressing speed ratio, overlap ratio, dressing depth and axial speed. The experimental tests of gear form grinding are carried out to investigate the effects of dressing parameters on the grinding process. The results of analysis and manufacturing tests can provide the reliable basis for diamond roller dressing in gear form grinding machine tools.
