This paper deals with H ∞ controller design problem for event-triggered networked control systems (NCSs), where the next task release time and finishing time are predicted based on the sampled states. A new model of NCSs that involves the network conditions, state and event-triggered communication strategy is proposed. Based on this model, some novel criteria for the asymptotic stability analysis and H ∞ state feedback controller design of the event-triggered NCSs with time-varying delay are established to guarantee a prescribed H ∞ disturbance rejection attenuation level. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In order to separate the chromatogram peaks and spectra from the High Performance Liquid Chromatography with Diode Array Detector (HPLC-DAD) data set, a separation model of Generalized Reference Curve Measurement and its solution by multi-target Bare Bones Particle Swarm optimization (GRCMmBBPSO) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, parameters are constructed which will generate Reference Curves (RCs) for chromatogram peaks. Secondly, the GRCM model is proposed to transform all these parameters to scalar values, which indicate the possibility for the HPLC-DAD data set containing chromatogram peaks similar to the RCs constructed by corresponding parameters. Then, the algorithm of mBBPSO is introduced to calculate the optimal parameters by minimizing the scalar values. Finally, the spectra are estimated. Through simulations and experiments, following conclusions are drawn: (1) the GRCMmBBPSO method can extract chromatogram peaks from the simulation data set without knowing the number of the compounds in advance even when a severe overlap and white noise exist;(2) the GRCMmBBPSO method can be applied to real HPLC-DAD data set.

In this paper, by constructing an objective function and using the gradient search, three gradient-based iterations are established for solving generalized coupled Sylvester matrix equations, when the related matrices are full-column rank, full-row rank or rank deficiency. It is proved that these three gradient-based iterative algorithms are convergent for any initial iterative values. By analyzing the spectral radius of the iterative matrices, we study the convergence properties and determine the optimal convergence factors of these iterations. We discuss the connection between the full-row rank iteration and the rank deficiency iteration. By using this connection, the computational efficiency increases greatly for a class of matrix equations. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms and testify the proposed conclusions in this paper.

In this paper, the asymptotic stability analysis problem is considered for a class of stochastic Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time-varying delays. We aim to construct easily verifiable conditions for the asymptotic stability in the mean square of the delayed neural networks. Via a Lyapunov functional and the Halanay inequality technique, several stability criteria are derived. Two examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed criteria.

This paper presents an algorithm for real time weld seam detection and feature extraction of butt weld, which is based on laser vision sensor installed on the end hand of welding robot. The algorithm preprocesses the weld seam images captured by laser vision sensor as first step and then detects laser stripe edges thus obtains the center of laser stripe. Then a two-step method is used to extract the initial value of center point of weld seam. Finally the weld region is separated from the laser stripe center line using iterative search method, then two edge points and accurate center point of weld region together with the width of weld seam can be calculated. Experiments have shown that the algorithm proposed in this paper has good stability and accuracy, and it can meet the real-time requirements.
