As an important component in the industry sector, the integrated energy chemical system is inescapably responsible for carbon reduction in addition to economic and reliability performance. We propose a novel streaming-data-driven multi-objective optimal operation for ammonia-based integrated energy chemical systems (AIECS). In the day ahead scheduling, a detailed mathematical model for AIECS is presented, upon which a multi-objective optimization considering cost, CO2 emission and reliability is established. For the intra-day operation, an event-triggered mechanism is firstly developed in the real-time operation of AIECS, and it enables the AIECS to be risk-aware just in time. By monitoring the difference between the predicted state of charge and the capacity limitations of battery, the AIECS identifies whether it is in hazardous regime. Then, the intelligent switch between certainty equivalence model predictive control and online-learning based distributionally robust model predictive control is proposed, such that their respective advantages are leveraged. Case studies demonstrate that the proposed approach guarantees the system safety, and brings good revenue. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The aero-engine is an extremely complex and precise mechanical system. Due to the changing working conditions, there are many factors that cause structural vibrations. The normal operation of each component is related to the stability and safety of the entire system. Failure of components can cause huge disasters. This paper analyzes the aero-engine bearing vibration failure caused by the low-pressure rotor imbalance, and finds that the main difficulty in constructing a fault diagnosis model of aero-engine lies in the processing of imbalance data and the extraction of multidimensional feature data. To solve these problems, a fault diagnosis method is proposed. This method first uses the border-line smote method to balance the data, and then proposes a weight-based Gini coefficient feature extraction method for feature extraction. Finally, the extracted features are used to construct an aero-engine fault diagnosis model. The principle of the fault diagnosis model is to build classifiers to distinguish between normal classes and fault classes. This paper mainly studies the classification effect of the three algorithms xgboost, GDBT and adaboost, and discusses the superiority of different algorithms. And using the bench data of a research institute for testing, it is found that the fault diagnosis model constructed by using the xgboost algorithm has a better fault diagnosis accuracy. In this paper, we focus on the optimization of large-scale multi-agent systems, where agents collaboratively optimize the sum of local objective functions through their own continuous and/or discrete decision variables, subject to global coupling constraints and local constraints. The resulting Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programmings (MINLPs) are NP-hard, non-convex, and large-scale. Therefore, this paper aims to design distributed algorithms to find feasible suboptimal solutions with a guaranteed bound. To this end, considering dual decomposition as an effective method to decompose large-scale constraint-coupled optimization problems, we first show, based on the convexification effects of large-scale MINLPs, that the primal solutions from the dual are near-optimal under certain conditions. This expands recent results in Mixed-Integer Linear Programmings (MILPs) to the nonlinear case but requires additional efforts on the proof. Utilizing this result to tighten the coupling constraints, we develop a fully distributed algorithm for the tightened problem, based on dual decomposition and consensus protocols. The algorithm is guaranteed to provide feasible solutions for the original MINLP. Moreover, asymptotic suboptimality bounds are established for the obtained solution. Finally, the efficacy of the method is verified through numerical simulations.

This paper presents a model-free $H_control/H_{\infty}$ Q-learning predictive control strategy for linear discrete-time systems. To design predictive controller with the system measured states, a policy iteration solution algorithm is employed to approximate the control inputs. Specifically, the developed algorithm is formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities, designed to stabilize the system with mixed $H_control/H_{\infty}$ control performance. Additionally, to improve robust performance under system disturbance variations, we introduce the receding horizon optimization into the Q-learning based predictive control. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

EEG signals are better able to show changes in human emotions. However, not all channels or spatial EEG signals are valid for emotion recognition. To capture the key effective features of EEG signals that are helpful for emotion recognition, we propose to use the channel space attention mechanism in EEG emotion recognition. We used channel attention to focus on the importance of different channel signals and spatial attention to focus on the importance of different brain regions. Experimental results show that the channel spatial attention mechanism achieves good performance and that it has significant benefits for EEG emotion recognition. © 2023 SPIE.

This paper describes a visual localization and map construction method based on ground texture. The ground texture is scanned twice in a zigzag pattern and divided into a grid to avoid distortion of the stitched image. A global optimization method is used to calculate the image pose by reprojection constraint and key frame selection to stitch the global map. For positioning, the global positioning is transformed into a local positioning process through global search and local optimization, which improves the speed and accuracy of positioning. For map updating, local optimization is performed by constructing loopbacks for possible stain occlusion or breakage problems to solve tracking loss and repositioning problems. Experimental results show that the ground texture stitching and localization results after global optimization match well with the true values, and the global maps constructed by stitching are aligned with the true physical locations. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.

In the coal preparation industry, heavy medium coal preparation control is of great significance in reducing impurities in raw coal, improving the quality of clean coal, and increasing economic benefits. However, the actual coal preparation system is subject to a large amount of noise interference due to the complexity of the industrial site in the production process, resulting in large fluctuations in the output quality of the system, making it difficult to ensure the quality stability of clean coal. To address these problems, this article proposes a control method of Finite-time Measurement noise Active Disturbance Rejection control(FM-ADRC). This method de-signs a new type of Extended State Observer(ESO) that adds the output with measurement noise as a new observation dimension to ESO. A finite time function is used as the nonlinear state error feedback law to suppress measurement noise, improve the dynamic characteristics of the observer, and enhance the convergence speed and accuracy of the control system. The effectiveness of the method in this paper is verified by simulation experiments, and it has obvious advantages in response speed and noise suppression.

This paper presents a graphical model approach for the stability check of switched systems with switch *** specify the restricted switching,we introduce the concepts of path-dependent average dwell time(PDADT) and path-dependent average switching frequency(PDASF),which identify three classes of graphical ***,a complete switch digraph depicting the restricted switching is presented based on the *** with the PDASF,a fundamental switch digraph is then developed originally,which is a subgraph of the complete switch digraph and rules out the essential switching ***,a clustering-based switch digraph can be further constructed by considering the periodic property of the fundamental switch ***,we derive stability criteria for a switched system under a set of time-dependent switching signals that obey the given switch *** contrast to the existing results encapsulating all the possible inequality conditions,we provide a particular set of inequality conditions to guarantee the stability of the constrained switched system.A numerical example is given to illustrate the analysis.

This work presents a consensus strategy for multiagent networked systems with time-varying delays. A new control technique is first developed, named observer-based distributed periodic event-triggered control. Aiming at leader-following consensus strategy, the state update of every follower agent just demands the neighbor state at the moment of its own event. Then, based on matrix inequalities, the sufficient criteria for the systems under consideration are established, which is easier to satisfy and shows that the consensus can be reached exponentially. Finally, one numerical example is presented to indicate the performance of the proposed method. © 2021 Chinese Automatic control Society and John Wiley & Sons Australia, Ltd.

In the iron and steel industry, the optimal scheduling of by-product gas is crucial to achieve safe and efficient energy operation. However, the scheduling method with a single-time scale cannot cope with the impact of forecast uncertainty. It is difficult to use static modeling to solve the impact of the multi-working condition characteristics of energy coupling equipment and the complex and changeable state of energy on scheduling. For solving the above problems, a multi-time scale scheduling method based on equipment dynamic modeling is proposed in this paper. The upper layer is day-ahead scheduling layer, which considers long-term energy information to establish an economically optimal rolling optimization scheduling model. The lower layer is intraday real-time scheduling layer, which is based on the solution results of day-ahead scheduling and combined with short-time scale energy information. The dynamic model of each energy coupling equipment is used for real-time scheduling. In order to verify the validity of the proposed method in this paper, an experiment was carried out on the operation data of the by-product gas system in the iron and steel industrial industry. The results show that the proposed method reduces the operating cost and has better application value compared with the traditional MPC optimal scheduling method that does not consider the dynamic characteristics of equipment.
