To enhance the robustness of the permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) speed control system, and reduce the response time of the control system, a composite terminal sliding mode control strategy is proposed. Firstly, a integral terminal sliding surface and a fast reaching law are designed based on the mathematical model of the PMSM to avoid singularity issues,enhance quickness, and reduce chattering. Then, the stability and finite-time convergence of the control system are proved by constructing a Lyapunov function. Considering the system's susceptibility to disturbances, the lumped disturbance is considered in the mathematical model. An extended state observer(ESO) is designed to observe the lumped disturbance and compensate for the lumped disturbance to the controller. Finally, through simulation and experimentation, it is demonstrated that the designed controller exhibits advantages such as fast response, no overshoot, and strong robustness.

This paper proposes a new self-triggered model predictive control (MPC) strategy for switched systems under dwell time (DT) constraints. The strategy combines the advantages of self-triggering mechanism and switching control, thereby having a good performance in saving computing resources and adapting to complex engineering practices. To guarantee the feasibility of the switched MPC strategy under the self-triggering framework, the concept of feasible truncated admissible switching sequence (f-TAS) is proposed to solve the constraint violation problem caused by the switching behavior and guarantee the flexible index. Besides, the self-triggering mechanism is developed to overcome the divergence of the Lyapunov function by using the self-triggered relaxation, thus ensuring the sub-optimal performance. Simulation example shows that the algorithm effectively saves the computing resources while ensuring the feasibility and sub-optimal performance.

Non-intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) represents a cost-efficient technological advancement in meticulously monitoring electricity consumption patterns. However, external noise interference in practical load identification poses challenges for accurate monitoring. To address this, a multi-task learning framework is proposed, concurrently tackling load identification and signal de-noising. To extract effective information from load signals, a novel feature representation called variational mode decomposition-instantaneous amplitude (VMD-IA) was introduced. To ensure optimal performance across the different tasks, a multi-gate mixture of expert architecture (MMOE) module is integrated into the proposed model. The proposed approach was evaluated on a self-collected load dataset, as well as public NILM datasets. The experimental results indicate that the proposed model outperforms state-of-the-art methods in all tasks.
