Redundancy actuation systems are widely applied in the fields of aviation and aerospace. This paper establishes a nonlinear dynamic model of the dual-redundancy actuation system driven by electro-mechanical actuators, involving control constraints and unmatched bounded perturbation. We next focus on the reset control of the dual-redundancy actuation system and raise a robust control problem, which can be transformed into a specified optimal controller design problem theoretically. To acquire the optimal controller, we propose a modified robust adaptive dynamic programming approach. Using multiple critic neural networks, a simultaneous approximation of the value function and the controller are achieved, and all the weight parameters can be estimated through an optimization framework, which is feasible guaranteed via well-defined basis functions. Finally, a numerical example from the dual-redundancy actuation system is presented to illustrate the derived controller.

In recent years, most of the studies have shown that the generalized iterated shrinkage thresholdings (GISTs) have become the commonly used first-order optimization algorithms in sparse learning problems. The nonconvex relaxations of the \ell _optimization -norm usually achieve better performance than the convex case (e.g., \ell _optimization -norm) since the former can achieve a nearly unbiased solver. To increase the calculation efficiency, this work further provides an accelerated GIST version, that is, AGIST, through the extrapolation-based acceleration technique, which can contribute to reduce the number of iterations when solving a family of nonconvex sparse learning problems. Besides, we present the algorithmic analysis, including both local and global convergence guarantees, as well as other intermediate results for the GIST and AGIST, denoted as (A)GIST, by virtue of the Kurdyka-Lojasiewica (KL) property and some milder assumptions. Numerical experiments on both synthetic data and real-world databases can demonstrate that the convergence results of objective function accord to the theoretical properties and nonconvex sparse learning methods can achieve superior performance over some convex ones. © 2013 IEEE.

Rate splitting multiple access (RSMA) has emerged in the integrated satellite-terrestrial networks (ISTNs). However, the satellite-terrestrial channel suffers serious shadow fading and cannot maintain stable communication links effectively. From the perspective of reliability, this correspondence takes the lead in focusing on the outage probability (OP) of ISTNs based on the combination of RSMA and hybrid automatic repeat request with chase combining (HARQ-CC). The lower and upper bounds of OP are derived firstly according to the inclusion-exclusion principle. Then, the diversity order is deduced, pointing out the conditions for full time diversity. Monte Carlo simulations confirm the accuracy of the theoretical results, and superior outage performance of HARQ-CC-aided RSMA is present compared with benchmarks. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

The integrity of monitoring data is of great significance to ensure the accuracy of data analysis and reliable operation in blast furnace gas system of steel industry. In this study, a Deep-Convolution-Generative-Adversarial-Networks (DCGAN)-based data filling method is proposed for high proportion missing in time series, and the corresponding network structure is designed. Time series are transformed non-destructively into time domain images by a Gram matrix, and their temporal characteristics are preserved. The authenticity constraint and the context similarity are established to optimize the hidden variables, and the high-precision time domain image is generated through the DCGAN. The completed time series is obtained by inversely transforming the Gram matrix. The simulation results based on the actual operating data of a steel enterprise indicate that the proposed method is capable of has high padding accuracy in the case of a high proportion of random missing data and continuous missing data. © 2022 IEEE.

Stereo Image Super-Resolution (SSR) holds great promise in improving the quality of stereo images by exploiting the complementary information between left and right views. Most SSR methods primarily focus on the inter-view correspondences in low-resolution (LR) space. The potential of referencing a high-quality SR image of one view benefits the SR for the other is often overlooked, while those with abundant textures contribute to accurate correspondences. Therefore, we propose Reference-based Iterative Interaction (RIISSR), which utilizes reference-based iterative pixel-wise and patch-wise matching, dubbed P²-Matching, to establish cross-view and cross-resolution correspondences for SSR. Specifically, we first design the information perception block (IPB) cascaded in parallel to extract hierarchical contextualized features for different views. Pixel-wise matching is embedded between two parallel IPBs to exploit cross-view interaction in LR space. Iterative patch-wise matching is then executed by utilizing the SR stereo pair as another mutual reference, capitalizing on the cross-scale patch recurrence property to learn high-resolution (HR) correspondences for SSR performance. Moreover, we introduce the supervised side-out modulator (SSOM) to re-weight local intra-view features and produce intermediate SR images, which seamlessly bridge two matching mechanisms. Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of RIISSR against existing state-of-the-art methods. © 1992-2012 IEEE.

Dynamic Characteristics of Lubricating Oil Film of Slipper Pair in Radial Piston Pump under Impact Load

To reduce the failure, deformation, and damage of slipper pair in radial piston pumps, Theoretical research and numerical modeling were conducted on the structure, kinematics principle, and stroke ring-slipper components force analysis of the radial piston pump, Through the theoretical analysis of the hydrostatic bearing oil film of the slipper pair, The obtained the static characteristic curve of the slipper pair, the oil film backthrust, the oil film stiffness, the power loss, and the optimal oil film thickness, reflecting the relationship between the oil film thickness, operating pressure, and the former. Subsequently, the dynamic characteristics equation of the oil film for the slipper pair under impact load was established, and the conclusion obtained by using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method is as follows: during the oil film squeezing process, the fluctuation of the oil film increases monotonically with time t, during the establishment of the oil film, oil film fluctuation generates damping oscillations, eventually tending to balance the oil film thickness. Conversely, without considering the squeezing effect, the dynamic process of the oil film diverges. Finally, the influence of the slipper structural parameters on the dynamic characteristics of the slipper pair oil film under impact load was studied, The results show that when the sealing strip area decreases or Δp and h0 increases, the fluctuation caused by oil film squeezing becomes larger. However, as the oil film establishes, the fluctuation amplitude of the oil film varies directly with the sealing strip area 、Δp and h0, When the adjustment time ts＜t is reached, the ratio of the fluctuation of the oil film to the equilibrium oil film thickness is less than 3%. © 2024, Turbomachinery Society of Japan. Multiple Fault Detection and Appliance Classification Using Shuttle Attention-Based Model

Electrical faults pose a significant risk of fire accidents, making their early detection and diagnosis critical for ensuring safety in buildings and electrical systems. Current fault detection methods relying on low-frequency power data inadequately capture subtle indicators of electrical faults. Moreover, these methods rarely engage in detecting multiple load types and fault categories. To this end, a new fault detection and appliance classification method was proposed. First, a new feature based on mutual information variational mode extraction (MIVME) was extracted. The feature can reflect the fault signal’s dynamics and variations on multiple scales. Further, a new model called load fault shuffle attention temporal convolutional network (LFSATCN) was designed to identify multiple load fault types. The model utilities autocorrelation channel attention and local amplification attention to capture the load fault details in the feature. The proposed model was evaluated on a self-collected high-frequency load fault dataset, as well as public datasets. The load fault dataset contains data samples of electrical faults, such as short circuits, open circuits, relay malfunctions and arc faults. The comparison result reveal that our method outperforms the state-of-art approaches. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Maneuvering Multiple Hypersonic Flight Vehicles via a Hierarchical control Framework

This paper studies how to maneuver multiple hypersonic flight vehicles (HFVs) with desired collective forms. To this end, a hierarchical control framework utilizing the leaderfollower strategy is proposed, where the knowledge of time-varying target formation is not required for the followers. First, different from the real-weighted position constraints, the proposed matrixweighted position constraint requires fewer neighbors and less communication. Second, compared to most existing formation maneuver control methods, our method can change not only the rotation, scaling, and translation of multi-HFV formations but also a greater variety of formation shapes. Third, unlike the conventional strategies in which the altitudes and forward positions of the HFVs are controlled separately, the proposed method can control both altitudes and forward positions of the HFVs simultaneously. A remarkable advantage is its ability to achieve precise position control for each HFV. Finally, two numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy © 1965-2011 IEEE.
