In this article, we focus on seeking the Nash equilibrium (NE) of nonaggregative games over a directed communication network. An asynchronous broadcast-based gossip algorithm is proposed, where each player broadcasts its own decision and estimates of other players' decisions to its out-neighbors. Then, the neighboring players update its respective decisions using its independent stepsize and estimates of other players' decisions by weighting its own and the received decision estimates from $(0,\,1)$. The almost surely convergence of the proposed algorithm with the diminishing stepsizes is presented by using a lemma and the property of the Kronecker product. Furthermore, the expected error bound between the NE and decisions for the proposed algorithm with constant stepsizes is presented with the increasing active probability of each player. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and the convergence rate comparison. © 2020 IEEE.

Adaptive modification of turbofan engine nonlinear model based on LSTM neural networks and hybrid optimization method

An accurate and reliable turbofan engine model which can describe its dynamic behavior within the full flight envelop and lifecycle plays a critical role in performance optimization, controller design and fault diagnosis. However, due to the performance differences caused by the tolerance of engine manufacturing and assembly, and performance degradation during continuously stringent environmental regulations, the model accuracy is severely reduced. In this paper, an adaptive modification method of turbofan engine nonlinear Component-Llevel Model(CLM) based on Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) Neural Network(NN) and hybrid optimization algorithm is pro-posed. First, a dynamic compensator with a combined LSTM NN architecture is constructed to compensate for the initial error between the experimental data and CLM of a turbofan engine under health condition. Then, a sensitivity analysis approach based on the entropy coefficient and technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution integrated evaluation is developed to choose the unmeasurable health parameters to be adjusted. Finally, a parallel hybrid optimization algorithm is developed to complete the adaptive model modification when the performance degrades. The proposed method is verified on a military low-bypass twin-spool turbofan engine, and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, a parameter-uncertain quadrotor UAV system with unknown external disturbances and actuator failures is studied, and a parameter adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme is based on an improved nonlinear extended state Man-machine trajectory tracking control. First, considering the influence of the unknown multi-source external environmental disturbance on the quadrotor UAV, the external disturbance suffered by the system is estimated and compensated in real-time by introducing an improved nonlinear extended state observer. Secondly, a new type of sliding mode reaching law is designed by using the continuous function with relay characteristics combined with the exponential function, which improves the sliding mode response speed of the system and eliminates the chattering of the sliding mode. Finally, a parameter adaptive law is designed for the actuator fault, and an adaptive fault-tolerant controller is designed by combining the backstepping sliding mode method, and the stability of the control system is proved by using the Lyapunov stability theory. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a collaborative iterative learning control scheme with optimal leader path planning strategy. Due to the demonds on repetitive tasks and static references under traditional ILC framework, it cannot fit the complex circumstances with multiple collaborative systems or satisfy certain control request on specific application. This paper introduces a dynamic norm-optimal iterative learning control (NOILC) framework based on an improved coordinate descent algorithm. Under the aforementioned framework, an optimal leader path can be found to fit certain performance requirements, i.e. energy reduction. Finally, the simulation results on a combined complex system verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Unsupervised learning of depth and ego-motion with absolutely global scale recovery from visual and inertial data sequences

In this paper, we propose an unsupervised learning method for jointly estimating monocular depth and ego-motion, which is capable to recover the absolute scale of global camera trajectory. In order to solve the general problems of scale drift and scale ambiguity of monocular camera, we fuse geometric movement data from inertial measurement unit (IMU), and use Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) to extract temporal features. Besides, we add a lightweight and efficient attention mechanism, Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM), to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to complete the extraction of image features. Considering the scenes with severe illumination changes, ambiguous structures, moving objects and occlusions, especially scenes with progressively-variant textures, the geometric features can provide adaptive estimation results in the case of the degeneration of visual features. Experiments on the KITTI driving dataset reveal that our scheme achieves promising results in the estimation of camera pose and depth. Moreover, the absolute scale recovery for the global camera trajectory is effective. © 2020 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
