Texture is one of the most obvious characteristics in solar images and it is normally described by texture features. Because textures from solar images of the same wavelength are similar, we assume texture features of solar images are multi-fractals. Based on this assumption, we propose a pure data-based image restoration method: with several high resolution solar images as references, we use the Cycle-Consistent Adversarial Network to restore burred images of the same steady physical process, in the same wavelength obtained by the same telescope. We test our method with simulated and real observation data and find that our method can improve the spatial resolution of solar images, without loss of any frames. Because our method does not need paired training set or additional instruments, it can be used as a post-processing method for solar images obtained by either seeing limited telescopes or telescopes with ground layer adaptive optic system. Perception Evaluation – A new solar image quality metric based on the multi-fractal property of texture features Solar Physics

Next-generation ground-based solar observations require good image quality metrics for post-facto processing techniques. Based on the assumption that texture features in solar images are multi-fractal which can be extracted by a trained deep neural network as feature maps, a new reduced-reference objective image quality metric, the perception evaluation is proposed. The perception evaluation is defined as cosine distance of Gram matrix between feature maps extracted from high resolution reference images and that from blurred images. We evaluate performance of the perception evaluation with simulated blurred images and real observation images. The results show that with a high resolution image as reference, the perception evaluation can give robust estimate of image quality for solar images of different scenes. Optical transient object classification in wide field small aperture telescopes with neural networks

Wide field small aperture telescopes are working horses for fast sky surveying. Transient discovery is one of their main tasks. Classification of candidate transient images between real sources and artifacts with high accuracy is an important step for transient discovery. In this paper, we propose two transient classification methods based on neural networks. The first method uses the convolutional neural network without pooling layers to classify transient images with low sampling rate. The second method assumes transient images as one dimensional signals and is based on recurrent neural networks with long short term memory and leaky ReLu activation function in each detection layer. Testing with real observation data, we find that although these two methods can both achieve more than 94% classification accuracy, they have different classification properties for different targets. Based on this result, we propose to use the ensemble learning method to further increase the classification accuracy to more than 97%. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Aiming at the problem that automobile assembler need to squat for a long time, a wearable squatting assistance system with low cost, simple control and easy to squat and walk is designed. Based on ergonomics and finite element theory, UG was used to draw a three-dimensional solid model of the wearable squatting power system for automobile assemblers. With the help of ANSYS software, the statics analysis of key components is carried out to check their strength and stiffness. It is concluded that the wearable squatting power assist device for automotive fitters based on ergonomics has reached the design requirements in terms of function use and strength and stiffness.

A 5 degree of freedom parallel mechanism with 6 branched redundant actuators is proposed. The mechanism is composed of 4 -SPS and 2-RPS kinematic branches. The mechanism can achieve three rotational and two translational motion. The performance of the forward and inverse kinematics, singularity and workspace, is analyzed, firstly, using the vector algebra method and Newton iteration method, the forward and inverse kinematics model were obtained from numerical solution and analytic solution;on this basis, get the Jacobian matrix of mechanism, and on the basis of the three kinds of performance parameters of matrix the singularity of the mechanism was analyzed;finally with the help of Monte Carlo method, obtaining the workspace of the mechanism. The related kinematic analysis will lay a theoretical foundation for the future study of the dynamics. © 2018 IEEE.

T0616. The temperature accuracy of the steel coil is directly affected the production quality of the steel plate. In the annealing furnace temperature control system, strip temperature control is mainly decided by various furnace annealing furnace gas flow in the area, so setting up a precise model between gas flow and temperature has become an important problem of the control system of annealing furnace. In this paper, SVM is applied to the prediction model of the gas flow in the annealing furnace since it's suitable for nonlinear and high dimensional problems as a machine learning method. In view of that the choice of C, G and the model parameters of the SVM directly affect the prediction precision of the model, this paper uses GA to optimize these two parameters. Finally, we use the data of field production as training and testing samples to establish and verify the model. The experimental results showed that the established model well achieved the requirements of the accuracy of the target. © 2018 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Improving performance of organic photodetectors based on trap assisted photomultiplication through adjusting photogenerated carrier distributions

Organic photodetectors (OPDs) based on trap-assisted photomultiplication (PM) effect with external quantum efficiency (EQE) far exceeding 100% are quite appealing for achieving highly sensitive photodetection. A classic structure of PM-type OPDs is based on the active layer of P3HT:PC70BM with the weight ratio of 100:1, in which PC70BM forms islands and supply bulk electron traps for inducing strong interfacial band bending and thus hole tunneling from the Al electrode. In this paper, aiming for optimizing the PM effect, we study the photogenerated carrier distribution by tuning thickness of the active layer (P3HT:PC70BM). The combination effect of both the exciton generation and exciton dissociation processes affects the photogenerated carrier distribution, which ultimately determines the PM performances of OPDs. On the one hand, simulation reveals that the thinner the active layer, the stronger exciton generation near the Al electrode. On the other hand, the photoluminescence and surface morphology studies reflect that the active layer with thickness of 230 nm has the smooth surface and produces the highest exciton dissociation rate. The two effects result in the OPD with a 205 nm thick active layer has the champion EQE (105569%) and photoresponsivity (344 A/W), corresponding to an enhancement of 330% with respect to the OPD with a 325 nm thick active layer. Ascribed to the trade off of EQE and dark current, the detectivity performs differently at different wavelength ranges. At short wavelength range, the detectivity reaches the highest when the active layer is 205 nm thick, while the highest detectivity at long wavelength range is produced by the thickest active layer. α-Fe2O3 thin films have been synthesized and used as photoanodes for photo-electrochemical (PEC) water oxidation. Molybdate was introduced to mediate hematite thin films via two synthesis routes (namely in situin situ mediation and ex situ modification). Through the in situ mediation process, the morphology and film thickness could be changed significantly due to the addition of MoO42-, while for the ex situ modification, the PEC performance of the hematite has been greatly improved without changing the nanorod morphology. Various characterizations such as UV-Vis absorption, transmission electronic microscopy, scanning electronic microscopy, Mott-Schottky, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were conducted and the PEC performances were investigated.

Since the operating temperature of absorption chamber affects the sensitivity of the optically pumped cesium magnetometer（OPCM） directly, it is necessary to control the temperature precisely. In this paper, by using the positive temperature coefficient（PTC） and the integral separation proportional-integral-derivative（PID） algorithm, a high-precision thermostatic heating system is designed for OPCM. Firstly, the PTC heating device and the TSic506 temperature sensor are used to form a closed loop control system. Then, the three parameters of P, I and D are adjusted for different temperature, and the temperature control system is realized by STM32 microcontroller. Finally, the integral separation PID algorithm is used to eliminate overshoot. Experiments show that the effective temperature control ranges are 45?C5?C, the accuracy is less than ±0.2?C, and the system stability time is 300 s. It is obviously that the designed system has reference value and guidance significance for OPCM.

Ultra-wide tuning single channel filter based on one-dimensional photonic crystal with an air cavity

By inserting an air cavity into a one-dimensional photonic crystal of LiF/GaSb, a tunable filter covering the whole visible range is proposed. Following consideration of the dispersion of the materials, through modulating the thickness of the air cavity, we demonstrate that a single resonant peak can shift from 416.1 to 667.3 nm in the band gap at normal incidence by means of the transfer matrix method. The research also shows that the transmittance of the channel can be maximized when the number of periodic Li F/Ga Sb layers on one side of the air defect layer is equal to that of the other side. When adding a period to both sides respectively, the full width at half maximum of the defect mode is reduced by one order of magnitude. This structure will provide a promising approach to fabricate practical tunable filters in the visible region with ultra-wide tuning range.
