In order to solve the vibration problems of a cracked asymmetric rotor, the three-dimensional finite element model of the rotor is established combined with a nonlinear contact approach. The free interface modal synthesis method is applied to shorten the computation time by reducing the order of the model. The vibration characteristics of the asymmetric rotor and the cracked asymmetric rotor in different crack locations are analyzed by the simulation. The results of numerical simulation show the appearance of crack will affect the resonance frequency and the range of unstable area on the major critical speed. At the same time, the active control of the rotor is realized by the electromagnetic actuator controlled by neural network PID. Secondly, based on the theory of rotor dynamics, the effects of rotational speed and unbalance on the breathing behavior of the cracked rotor are discussed. In this paper, it proposes a novel method delaying the crack extension effectively. In the process of operation, the electromagnetic actuator (EMA) can effectively control the vibration and can delay the crack propagation.

This paper aims at solving the problems that the manipulator will be constrained by the flexible load, and the caused constraint force is difficult to control. Based on the deflection screw theory, the dynamic model of the manipulator system is established by using the Lagrange equation. Firstly, according to the interaction of the end effector, the flexible load and the environmental constraints of the manipulator, the equation of motion of the entire system is built. Secondly, the dynamic model of the manipulator system is set up, that the system including the flexible load and the manipulator. Finally, Under the certain known environmental constraints, the dynamic modeling of a manipulator is performed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation of a flexible beam operated by a 3-DOF manipulator.

Photon statistics and bunching of a chaotic semiconductor laser

The photon statistics and bunching of a semiconductor laser with external optical feedback are investigated experimentally and theoretically. In a chaotic regime, the photon number distribution is measured and undergoes a transition from Bose-Einstein distribution to Poisson distribution with increasing the mean photon number. The second order degree of coherence decreases gradually from 2 to 1. Based on Hanbury Brown-Twiss scheme, pronounced photon bunching is observed experimentally for various injection currents and feedback strengths, which indicates the randomness of the associated emission light. Near-threshold injection currents and strong feedback strengths modify exactly the laser performance to be more bunched. The macroscopic chaotic dynamics is confirmed simultaneously by high-speed analog detection. The theoretical results qualitatively agree with the experimental results. It is potentially useful to extract randomness and achieve desired entropy source for random number generator and imaging science by quantifying the control parameters. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. Protein complexes are the key molecular entities which plays an indispensable role in our life activities. systematic identification of protein complexes is an important application of data mining in bioscience. The existing computation methods of detecting protein complexes are usually based on the topological properties of protein-protein interaction(PPI) network ***, limited by the inherent single structure of the PPI network, the mining of protein complexes may not be fully *** this paper, we propose an original multi-objective optimization strategy based protein complex detection method, which is used Adaptive Multi-Objective Black Hole algorithm, called AMOBH. In the selection of objective function strategy, we integrate the topological structure of PPI network data with semantic similarity based on GO(Gene Ontology) annotation data. Experiments demonstrate that the method we adopt provide more convinced results and higher computational efficiency compared with the existing prediction measures.

Enhancing quantum entropy in vacuum-based quantum random number generator

Information-theoretically provable unique true random numbers, which cannot be correlated or controlled by an attacker, can be generated based on quantum measurement of vacuum state and universal-hashing randomness extraction. Quantum entropy in the measurements decides the quality and security of the random number generator. At the same time, it directly determine the extraction ratio of true randomness from the raw data, in other words, it affects quantum random numbers generating rate obviously. In this work, considering the effects of classical noise, the best way to enhance quantum entropy in the vacuum-based quantum random number generator is explored in the optimum dynamical analog-digital converter (ADC) range scenario. The influence of classical noise excursion, which may be intrinsic to a system or deliberately induced by an eavesdropper, on the quantum entropy is derived. We propose enhancing local oscillator intensity rather than electrical gain for noise-independent amplification of quadrature fluctuation of vacuum state. Abundant quantum entropy is extractable from the raw data even when classical noise excursion is large. Experimentally, an extraction ratio of true randomness of 85.3% is achieved by finite enhancement of the local oscillator power when classical noise excursions of the raw data is obvious. The pull-in phenomenon is an important sign of instable movement for electrostatic micro-resonators. In present paper, the problems of homoclinic orbits and homoclinic bifurcation motion in a typical triple-well potential system with non-Z2 symmetric and higher-order nonlinear terms are studied, which is used to describe corresponding nonlinear dynamical behaviors of pull-in and complex vibration phenomena in typical micro-resonator. For the complexity between the equilibrium points and the phase space curves in triple-well potential system, the non-Z2 symmetric homoclinic orbits that are corresponding to the pull-in phenomenon are discussed under a certain energy input condition. Because the fact of the air damping in the actual micro-resonator cannot be ignored, the autonomous system containing the damping terms is studied directly. The further improved Padé approximation method can be applied to directly obtain analytical expressions of special homoclinic orbits with completely non-Z2 symmetry in corresponding conservative system, which contain not only the conventional Z2 symmetric nonlinear terms, but also the non-Z2 symmetric and higher-order nonlinear terms. In addition, the phase diagrams and bifurcation parameter curves of homoclinic orbit in corresponding autonomous system are obtained when the homoclinic bifurcation occurs. In this paper, the doubly clamped microbeam-based resonator which actuated by two electrodes is investigated. A section parameter is proposed to describe the microbeam variables in the upper and under section. The differential equation is derived by considering the influence of neutral surface tension and the nonlinearity of electrostatic force. The Galerkin and Newton Cotes methods are used to obtain reduced-order model. The nonlinear vibration behaviors of system at equilibrium point are analysed. First, the frequency response is obtained by the method of multi-scale (MMS). The relationship between section parameter and mechanical property of the microresonator is studied. Then, the system is optimized by considering the relationship between section parameter and the actual physical parameters. Finally, the finite element method through COM-SOL software is used to verify the theoretical results, and the two results are very close to each other in the stable region. The dissolving technique of ionic liquid (IL) was applied in extraction process of hydroxyapatite (HAp). Product HAp was extracted by IL choline chloride-urea (ChCl-Urea) dissolving cattle bone. The optimum conditions for regeneration process of cattle bone were determined by single factor, orthogonal and verification experiments. IR spectra of regenerated bone, undissolved bone and raw bone showed that the main groups of regenerated bone did not change. It was indicated that ionic liquid did not damage the bone collagen of raw bone, and the collagen was only dissolved by IL. IR spectrum of the product HAp revealed that its components were similar to those of the natural bone. SEM pattern showed that the crystal shape of the product HAp appeared rod-like shape mostly, and the crystal structure was relatively complete. XRD diffraction explained that there was no difference between product HAp and standard HAp for the crystalline form and compositions. This paper studies the design of leak detection design for oil pipeline based on image recognition technology. The basic steps of the process are as follows: Firstly, by using the image processing function of MATLAB software, the oil pipeline images collected are processed, such as preprocessing, image recognition and segmentation, image morphological processing and so on. Finally, the leakage of oil pipeline is judged according to the test results. In the preprocessing part, gray processing is mainly performed, which can speed up the processing and improve the accuracy of recognition. The image segmentation section is selected using threshold segmentation. In the image morphology processing part, the edge contour obtained by the image segmentation part can be more clearly defined by the etching and expansion operation. The final output of the design is divided into three parts, one in which there is no leakage. In the other two cases, when a leak is detected, the degree of leakage is divided into a slight leak and a serious leak, which helps the tester to understand the leak more clearly and improve the practicability of the design.

A compact terahertz continuous wave (CW) discharge-pumped Hydrogen cyanide (HCN) dual laser has been developed for better signal to noise ratio and higher time resolution, with active power and intermediate frequency (IF) control. The output power of about 110 mW on the 0.89 THz line has been obtained with 1 m long and 50 mm inner diameter dual discharge-pumped wave-guides laser. An output-power and IF feedback control system is applied to the HCN dual laser for output power and IF stability. This feedback system consists of two stepping motors, a piezoelectric ceramics (PZT), a PLC, a supervisory computer and the corresponding control program. The whole feedback control system can successful in stabilizing the power of the laser around 110 mW and the IF at around 1MHz in several hours. © 2018 IEEE.
