All-optical logic gates based on hierarchical photonic crystal modulated photoluminescence of perovskite nanocrystals

Halide perovskites exhibit high performance in all sorts of optoelectronic and photonic areas, suggesting their huge potential in integrated photonic devices. However, until now, all optical logic gates based on perovskites are still rarely explored, hindering the development of all-optical networks and computing. Herein, a new concept of all-optical logic gates is proposed based on the modulation of photoluminescence(PL) from perovskite nanocrystals(PNCs). A hierarchical photonic crystal(Hie PhC) is developed by self-assembling polystyrene(PS) and SiO2nanoparticles, which exhibit a higher PL enhancement than that of a monolayer PhC. Moreover, the light-controlled PL is realized by taking advantage of the high thermal response of the PL from PNCs/Hie PhC on polyethylene(PE) substrate, assisted by a graphene layer for light-heat conversion. Consequently, optical diode and triode are achieved based on the modulated PL, which exhibit contrast ratios(CR) of 24.7 and 74.0 dB, ***-optical logic gates, including “AND”, “OR” and “NOT”, are realized based on the optical diode and triode.

Probing the axis of a rotator is important in astrophysics,aerospace,manufacturing,machinery,automation,and virtual reality,*** optical solutions commonly require multiple sequential measurements via symmetry-broken light fields,which make them time-consuming,inefficient,and prone to accumulated ***,we propose the concept of a dual-point noncoaxial rotational Doppler effect(DNRDE)and demonstrate a one-shot detection technique to solve this *** on-demand synthetic orbital angular momentum(OAM)light beam impinges on a rotating scatterer surface,supporting dual-point rotational Doppler shifts,in which the information of the rotating axis is acquired by comparing these two frequency shifts with a prescribed *** existence of arbitrary dual-point Doppler shifts enables the one-time direct identification of rotating axis orientations,which is fundamentally inaccessible in single-point *** robust detection technique is compatible with generalised synthetic OAM light fields by utilising optical modal *** with traditional approaches,our DNRDE-driven detection approach exhibits a four-fold enhancement in measurement speed,higher energy efficiency,and superior accuracy with a maximal absolute measurement error of 2.23°.The proposed dual-point detection method holds great promise for detecting rotating bodies in various applications,such as astronomical surveys and industrial manufacturing.

In recent years, the virtual reality technique has been widely used in many fields. One of the most popular applications is for generating virtual models that can be operated on the screen. In the paper, three methods of obtaining virtual models are introduced. One method is by scanning the quick response code. Another method is the use of CADbro software. The third way is to develop an app to help the digital world emerge in real-life scenarios. With the help of virtual technology, ways of teaching, modes of production, and film production are changing. The three methods mentioned in the paper make it easy to generate virtual models for people to operate on mobile devices. Virtual models generated by the three methods can be operated by touching the screen or operating the mouse, whenever and wherever. © 2024 The Authors.

Model and Simulation of Multipath Error in DLL for GPS Receiver

Although different multipath error models of Delay lock loop (DLL) used in GPS receiver are established, they have never been put together for comparison. Furthermore, no universal simulation method is developed to get a fair comparison among these models. A new model with implicate expression is hence proposed for the coherent DLL and the noncoherent Dot-product (DOT) power mode DLL. Meanwhile, a new simulation method based on the anonymous function in Matlab, which is especially suitable for models with implicit expression, is also proposed to compare the new model with the existing ones. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the existing models are the special case of the proposed one. The new simulation method can be used for the comparison of different multipath error models and the multipath error analysis of other DLLs for which only the implicit model is available.

With the increasing number of satellites being launched in China,the demand for Telemetry,Tracking,and Command(TT&C)resources is also *** of the global coverage and resource requirements of TT&C management,this paper proposes a TT&C scheme based on the Global Short-Message Communication system(GSMCS)of the BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite system(BDS-3).The system composition,workflow,and functions of satellite TT&C are analyzed using the GSMCS of *** the coverage analysis of the Medium Earth Orbit(MEO)constellation of BDS-3,scheme’s applicability is pointed out,and the correctness of the analysis results is verified via *** value range of the link distance is derived by calculating the range of the distance variation between any 2 satellites in the BDS-3 MEO constellation and combining the intersatellite routing *** calculation results show that the response time range of the autonomous request management application of in-orbit satellites based on the GSMCS of BDS-3 is 1.407 to 2.448 *** can meet the requirements of TT&C service.

Modeling of GPS Code and Carrier Tracking Error in Multipath

The code tracking error model of coherent Code tracking loop (CTL) is modified since existing model cannot accurately describe the characteristic that the code tracking error is determined by multipath and correlator spacing in multipath. The noncoherent DOT-product (DOT) power mode CTL is established as a comparison with different CTLs in multipath. Besides, the carrier tracking error model is modified based on the established code tracking error models, which indicates that the carrier tracking error is also determined by the multipath and the correlator spacing. The presented error models indicate that the correlation between the code tracking error and carrier tracking error can be decorrelated. Theoretical analysis shows that the noncoherent DOT power mode CTL is essentially coherent when the discriminator output of carrier tracking loop is zero. The influence of multipath and correlator spacing on CTL and carrier tracking loop is analyzed by simulations.

With the widespread integration of renewable energy sources (REs), the number of power system scenarios to be analyzed has increased significantly, and the system structure has become increasingly complex, which increases the computational burden of power system dynamic simulations and leads to substantial computation time. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve the efficiency of dynamic simulation to meet the requirements of advanced applications. The uEITSA method adopts a fixed system time-step in the overall simulation, which makes it challenging to balance simulation accuracy and efficiency. Therefore, a system time-step adjustment strategy is proposed in this paper to optimize the uEITSA method, implemented in the open-source Simulation Toolkit for Electrical Power systems (STEPS). Firstly, the system time-step adjustment strategy based on elementary transfer function blocks (ETFBs) is introduced. Secondly, the implementation of the proposed strategy in STEPS software is described in detail. Finally, the simplified Shandong Power Grid model is tested to demonstrate that the proposed system time-step adjustment strategy can improve simulation efficiency without jeopardizing simulation accuracy.

Based on the construction requirements of the "Emerging Engineering"major in intelligent manufacturing engineering and the characteristics of interdisciplinary integration, the cultivation of high-quality interdisciplinary talents has been established as the primary objective. By coordinating multiple on-campus and off-campus resources and fostering cohesion within the entire discipline supervisor team, the "academic supervisor system"training mode has been established, and the continuous training mechanism for "undergraduate and master's"programs has been effectively developed. Additionally, school-enterprise collaborations have been implemented, and practical bases have been successfully established. With the support of the entire discipline supervisor team and the closed-loop integrated laboratory, the practical teaching system characterized by cross-integration and systematic progression has been developed at our university. By creating a step-by-step, planned, and systematic practical course system, the issues of standardization, randomization, and fragmentation within practical courses have been effectively resolved. Through the integration of project-based courses and school-enterprise co-constructed courses, students' innovative abilities are further enhanced. It then describes the design and implementation methods of major design, and analyzes its practical effects. How to represent the temporal information corresponding to each fact in temporal knowledge graphs (TKGs) effectively is always challenging. Most existing representation learning methods usually map the timelines of knowledges into multiple points and ignore the underlying continuous time property and periodic characteristics behind those dense timestamps in finer-time granularity temporal knowledge graphs. A novel Knowledge Evolution with Time Duration (KETD) model is proposed for knowledge representation of temporal knowledge graphs with finer-time granularities. It represents the entity embedding as a time-varying nonlinear function to find the specific continuous time property from dense timestamps. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first attempt to learn embeddings of time durations and combines them into embeddings of entities and relations to predict potential periodic facts. It also uses the temporal point process to capture the impact of historical facts on the current fact. The experiments on self-built finer-time granularity TKG of Satellite-to-Earth Communication (STEC) and two public datasets have demonstrated the superiority of KETD compared to some baseline approaches. © 2023 IEEE.
