Launch equipment hydraulic system plays a vital role in completion of mission due to its stability and accuracy. This paper built an effectiveness evaluation index system based on comprehensive analysis of launch equipment hydraulic system, compared weighting factor determination mechanisms, and integrated independence factor into weight determination by combining the strong coupling feature of launch equipment hydraulic system indexes. The final weight was integrated and determined in four aspects, including importance weight, information weight, independence weight and credibility weight. Then, the paper obtained the system effectiveness evaluation results by utilizing system operation data, and provided theoretical and data reference for equipment selection and effectiveness improvement.

This paper proposes a new power supply module combining the solar panels with an energy storage device, which can achieve the plug-and-play function. Photovoltaic (PV) cells supply power to the micro-grid via an inverter controlled by maximum power point tracking (MPPT) strategy to extract the maximum power from the PV arrays. The energy storage system is used to maintain the voltage and frequency via an inverter governed by droop-control to maintain the stable operation of the system even under disturbances. This power supply module will have a droop characteristic when connected to a variable load. The combined module is modelled and simulated with MATLAB/SIMULINK for different working conditions, such as connecting to different load and working in the daytime or at night. The simulation results show the rationality and feasibility of the proposed module.

An ultra-wideband direct chaotic through-wall imaging radar is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The chaotic signal is generated by an improved Colpitts oscillator. Target range information is achieved by the cross-correlation between the time-delayed reflected echo signal and the replica of the transmitted chaotic signal. Two-dimensional image is obtained by synthetic aperture technology and back projection algorithm. Experimental results of single target and double targets show that the proposed chaotic radar system can through 20cm thick wall to detect and locate the target.

Before the automatic production line put into practical use in industrial domain,it must go through a large number of long-term rigorous test to detect errors in the design *** in the actual test process,the same mistake leads to different results due to the different test methods and there are some special conditions resulting from the limitation of field test environment what can't be used to be *** formal method,by using the method of discrete mathematics to practical system mathematical modeling and validation,can replace the methods what can not been tested under the conditions of system *** formal method is also suitable for developing large reactive and distributed *** this paper,the specific formal method which is called Event-B improves the high security and reliability of *** the related tools such as Rodin are used for modeling,refinement and verification in the PLC(Programmable Logic controller) automatic production *** result in this paper shows that our approach contributes to reducing system details during the early development stage and leads to simpler proofs and more automated *** it provides a new method for reference for higher requirements in the reliability in engineering projects,so as to ensure the correctness of the designed software.

In order to obtain an accurate segmentation of spinal marrowin an MRI image, a Markov random field image segmentation algorithm based on an information granule is proposed. The information granule is established at first, then the region of the image is also created for the epitaxy of the granule, and the region features are extracted both internally and externally to be the connotation of the granule. The internal region features are denoted by second-order moment and the average value of pixels intra-regionally, and the external features by a region adjacency matrix. By combining the region features and information granule with the MRF, the image segmentation is finished, so a wrong segmentation caused by single pixel is avoided. Finally, the rule of maintaining big granule is used to correct the segmentation result. Compared with the result of the Markov random field, the effectiveness and veracity of this method are verified by the simulation experiment. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.

Compared with the transmission power grid, the microgrid tends to contain much more power electronic devices. In the transient simulation with large time scale, the use of detailed switching model of power electronic devices often leads to significant increase of the required computation time and memory overflow problems. To solve these problems, the average value modeling method is usually adopted to modeling the terminal characteristics of power electronic devices, where the variable voltages and currents of the devices are replaced by their average value within a switching cycle. In this paper, the average value modeling principle which lays the basis of the modeling of AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC converters is firstly studied. Then both the detailed and the average value models of a typical microgrid containing AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC converters are established and accuracy of average value modeling method is studied. Simulation results show that the average value model of the microgrid can accurately capture the dynamic characteristics of the grid with reasonable accuracy but largely reduced simulation time.

Hybrid state estimation has become a significant tool to utilize PMU measurements in modern power dispatch center. Factors affecting estimation accuracy are discussed in this paper, including measurement number, PMU number and measurement uncertainty. And it also explores the extent of impacts with simulation results. PMU current phasors are transformed into pseudo power injections and their uncertainties are calculated by uncertainty propagation theory. PMU numbers and their optimal deployment are determined by integer quadratic programming approach. Monte Carlo simulations are carried out in IEEE 14-bus system in this paper.

Over the past decade, wind energy has become one of the most prevalent renewable resources. The installed wind capacity continues to increase and the penetration of wind power has reached a relatively high level in some area. In this context, extreme volatility of wind power, i.e., ramp event can bring serious challenges to maintaining balance between the generation and the demand. Most ramp forecasting methods use event detection models based on series analysis of wind power forecast data or regression models based on data mining of historical data. However, real-time risk assessment on power system during the ramp process is almost neglected in these methods, which means that the forecast results are incomplete and operators can't get sufficient risk information of ramps. This paper proposes a region-based method for high-risk wind power ramp events detection. In this method, an algorithm is developed to find the border of secure region of wind power integrated to power system considering several security constraints, the result of which is then used for recognition of high-risk ramps during the forecast process. Case study shows the effectiveness and practical application value of this method.

In this paper, an accurate HVDC transmission system model, which includes AC system, transformer, converter, AC/DC filter, smoothing reactor and transmission line, is built up by the power system simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC. Referring to the standard testing system CIGRE Benchmark, the simulation model of the control system is established, too. The simulation result shows that this model can simulate ± 500kV HVDC system accurately and is capable of being used as an effective tool to study HVDC transmission system or other related researches. © 2015 IEEE.

A designing method for the secondary system in digital substations is proposed, which takes the graphics software of Power Designing Institutes as a platform. The model of primary system and ICD (IED Capability Description) files of secondary devices are used as initial design information. Designers configure secondary devices and connect virtual terminals on the model of primary systems. Then visual virtual secondary circuits, network physical wiring and functional interoperation are generated to describe the configuration and structure of secondary system in digital substations. At the same time, SCD (Substation Configuration Description) files and CID (Configured IED Description) files will be generated automatically. The proposed method provides visual means for secondary system design in digital substations, which is good for standardized and normalized integration work of secondary systems in substations as well as for installation, adjustment, extension, reconstruction and update of devices in digital substations.
