Effect of voltage hasn't been considered reasonably in existing loss allocation methods. Aiming at the problem, the impact of voltage on the loss allocation method based on circuit theory is deeply discussed in this paper. Firstly, the two node equivalence modes and principles of the branch loss allocation method are investigated. Then the relationship between voltage and the loss under different node equivalence modes is analyzed on the premise that all nodes' injection currents are fixed, so as to keep the influence of current on loss allocation constantly at different voltage levels. The analysis and simulations reveal that none of the methods can reflect the effect of voltage on loss allocation, and this is due to node equivalence rather than branch allocation principle. So a more reasonable node equivalence should be developed to reflect the influence of voltage on loss allocation.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are new power loads of power systems. It is important to model the charging process of EVs in power system numerical simulation. This paper proposes a methodology for modeling of EV loads applicable to power flow calculation and other quasi-steady state analysis. The numerical methodology of EV load modeling is expounded from the DC and the AC side of charging EVs. In the DC side, the constant current and the constant voltage charging processes are considered. In the AC side, the changes of the charging efficiency and power factor versus the AC frequency and voltage are analyzed. Based on the current EV market status and the development trends, four types of EV load models are calculated using this methodology. The EV load modeling methodology considers EV quantities, initial state-of-charge distributions, load change processes during charging and the effect of grid side parameters.

In order to improve the measurement accuracy of synchronized phasor in the case of frequency offset, an adaptive DFT algorithm based on shifting window symmetrical was presented. First of all, sampling window length of DFT is determined by tracking the frequency of the power grid. Secondly, the composed phasor is calculated by utilizing three sampling windows which were away from a quarter sampling window length to each other. After compensating the fixed offset, the precise phasor measurement results can be computed. In addition, in order to quickly and accurately track the frequency, a zero-crossing algorithm based on three-phase signal for measuring frequency was proposed. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can meet the accuracy of synchronized phasor measurement, significantly decreases the computational complexity over the conventional method, and satisfies the requirements of real time applications for the smart grid.

This paper proposes a method to determine the main unbalance sources on the point of common coupling (PCC) in the distribution system. The unbalance sources in the upstream side are proposed to be equivalent as a Thevenin voltage source, while the unbalance sources in the downstream side are equivalent as an unbalanced current source. An unbalance contribution factor is proposed to determine the contribution of the upstream and downstream unbalance sources. Moreover, the upstream Thevenin equivalent circuit is estimated based on the measured PCC voltages and currents using the complex least-square method. Simulation results verify the validity and accuracy of the proposed method.

In this paper, an accurate HVDC transmission system model, which includes AC system, transformer, converter, AC/DC filter, smoothing reactor and transmission line, is built up by the power system simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC. Referring to the standard testing system CIGRE Benchmark, the simulation model of the controlsystem is established, too. The simulation result shows that this model can simulate ±500kV HVDC system accurately and is capable of being used as an effective tool to study HVDC transmission system or other related researches.

In the multi-platform air defense combat, platforms cooperate to achieve best effect. In the traditional air defense cooperation, assigning interception units has been paid more attention. Based on the existing task allocation model, we added the cooperative guidance and time window constraints to accord with the modern battle mode. An allocation method based on decentralized auctions is also proposed. Each platform employs the heuristic method to choose proper target and confirm the execution time, then resolve the conflict by consensus rules. This method is robust for communication network, besides it can avoid the single point of failure. Simulation results show this algorithm is significantly effective and satisfies the demand of real time.

A predictive control strategy considering ramping rate and power deviation is proposed, which is based on wind turbine load optimization. The wind turbine load model is established according to blade element momentum (BEM) theory, and the influence factors of wind turbine load are analysed based on this model. The control strategy is divided into 3 modules. The prediction module is based on ultra-short-term neural network wind speed prediction. The online optimization model is established with the objectives of minimizing the ramping rate, wind turbine load and power deviation. The feedback module compensates the deviation of optimal control under practical operation conditions. Simulation results show that the proposed strategy can improve the security and economy of wind turbines when dealing with ramping events.
