Novel C_(sf)/SiBCN composites prepared by densifying C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN with the PIP process:Oxidation behavior and damage mechanism

To improve the oxidation resistance of short carbon fiber(C_(sf))-reinforced mechanically alloyed SiBCN(MA-SiBCN)(C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN)composites,dense amorphous C_(sf)/SiBCN composites containing both MA-SiBCN and polymer-derived ceramics SiBCN(PDCs-SiBCN)were prepared by repeated polymer infiltration and pyrolysis(PIP)of layered C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN composites at 1100℃,and the oxidation behavior and damage mechanism of the as-prepared C_(sf)/SiBCN at 1300–1600℃ were compared and discussed with those of C_(sf)/*** C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN composites resist oxidation attack up to 1400℃ but fail at 1500℃ due to the collapse of the porous framework,while the PIP-densified C_(sf)/SiBCN composites are resistant to static air up to 1600℃.During oxidation,oxygen diffuses through preexisting pores and the pores left by oxidation of carbon fibers and pyrolytic carbon(PyC)to the interior of the *** to the oxidative coupling effect of the MA-SiBCN and PDCs-SiBCN matrices,a relatively continuous and dense oxide layer is formed on the sample surface,and the interfacial region between the oxide layer and the matrix of the as-prepared composite contains an amorphous glassy structure mainly consisting of Si and O and an incompletely oxidized but partially crystallized matrix,which is primarily responsible for improving the oxidation resistance.

Designing a data-driven predictive controller for lateral stability of vehicles on compacted-snow rutted roads, especially when the data is subjected to non-stationary noise disturbances, is a significant challenge. This paper introduces a novel subspace predictive equation construction method that incorporates filtering using the inverse of a first-order disturbance model. Based on this, a filtering data-driven predictive controller is designed. The proposed method is tested through numerical simulations and MATLAB/CarSim co-simulation. Simulation results show that the proposed subspace predictive equation with filtering effectively mitigates the variance and bias introduced by non-stationary noise. The co-simulation results demonstrate that the controller ensures the stability and robustness of the vehicle system. © 2024 IEEE.

The fuel system will suffer fatigue damage due to the vibration environment during service. In this paper, failure analysis is carried out on the fractured fuel pipelines in the vibration endurance qualification test of airframe structure. The metallographic analysis results show that the two broken pipelines are fractured by fatigue. Based on the frequency domain method of vibration fatigue life prediction, the life of the failed pipeline is evaluated. Compared with the test results, the evaluation results are within twice scatter band. Therefore, the spectral method is feasible and accurate to evaluate the vibration resistance life of fuel pipelines. The improved design of the pipeline structure was conducted, and the fatigue life evaluation of the improved structures shows that the vibration life is significantly improved. Longer fuel lines are suitable to be improved by adding constraints to limit the modal displacement. While shorter fuel lines are suitable to be bent to increase the length of the pipe, which can reduce the disturbance at the root of the pipe. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings. All rights reserved.

The large aircraft ground dynamics test platform is a significant research infrastructure to test and simulate the ground dynamics characteristics of aircraft. However, there exist many problems in physical experiments and traditional model-based virtual experiments of this platform. Here we introduce the emerging digital twin technology to fully expand its comprehensive verification capabilities and enhance the digitized development level of the large aircraft ground dynamics systems. Firstly, the technical requirements of the digital twin system for the large aircraft ground dynamics test platform are analyzed, and its schematic design is completed. Then, a four-tier technical architecture including physical object, data network, digital twin and application scenario is constructed. An in-depth analysis of this digital twin system focusing on its potential research and application scenarios for aircraft ground dynamics is illustrated. Finally, the key technologies of digital twin construction and evaluation, as well as high-performance virtuality-reality hybrid networks are elaborated and analyzed, providing a certain basis for subsequent specific design and development.

This paper addresses the privacy-preserving event-triggered predefined time containment control problem for net-worked agent systems. A novel containment control scheme is developed that integrates privacy protection with event-triggered mechanisms, optimizing network efficiency b y minimizing un-necessary data transmission while ensuring robust containment within a specified time frame. T he proposed control scheme ensures the confidentiality of agents' information through output masking, thereby maintaining both privacy and control accuracy. Furthermore, it provides a distinct advantage over traditional finite-time and fi xed-time co ntrol me thods by gu aranteeing con-vergence to the desired state within a predefined time, regardless of initial conditions. Finally, some simulation results are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed containment control scheme. © 2024 IEEE.

According to ground laboratory airworthiness verification test requirements of the civil aircraft electrical power system in CCAR25, it is necessary to simulate the drive characteristics of the aircraft power unit to the generator. In this paper, a generator drive characteristics simulation device is designed to meet this requirement. According to the requirements of steady state speed control accuracy and dynamic response characteristics, which have an important impact on the simulation of drive characteristics, the core functional modules of the device have been designed and implemented in detail, and the device is applied to the ground laboratory airworthiness verification test of the civil aircraft power system. The tests showed that the device has excellent drive characteristics, as well as the advantage of simple structure.

Whether the cockpit crew task design of civil aircraft is accurate and reasonable directly affects the preparation y requirements of civil aircraft crew and flight safety. Civil aircraft cockpit minimum flight crew provisions is also an important provision in the process of airworthiness certification of new models, at this stage, the airworthiness certification of this provision is mainly analysed through the simulator test and test flight test through the pilot's subjective evaluation, there is a strong subjectivity, not able to objectively evaluate the workload of the crew, which has brought a lot of challenges to the airworthiness certification. This paper proposes a method based on image recognition to carry out the minimum crew task analysis in the cockpit of a civil aircraft. According to the route operation scenario of a civil aircraft, we carry out the simulation test of the man-in-the-loop, use the camera to track and record the spatial movement trajectory of the pilot's hand, judge the crew's operation task in the cockpit by identifying the crew's gesture, and make use of the cockpit's interface for displaying some information to carry out the analysis of the crew's task in the cockpit of a civil aircraft. The method helps to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the monitoring of crew tasks in the cockpit of civil aircraft, and provides a basis for optimising crew resource management and flight safety.

This paper focuses on the inter-UAV state estimation method of swarmed UAVs with communication constraints, which mainly analyzes the incomplete state information and data missing between UAVs. Firstly, the motion state estimation method of UAVs based on extended Kalman filter (EKF) is established for the incomplete state information of UAVs with communication constraints. Secondly, aiming at the data missing between UAVs with limited communication, the state prediction method of UAVs is studied. This article proposes a neural network-based adaptive distributed containment controller for second-order integral multi-agent systems with nonlinear dynamics and external disturbances. Firstly, the proposed controller effectively suppresses the effects of nonlinear dynamics and external disturbances while achieving containment control. Secondly, for the adaptive update law of neural networks, unlike existing studies, we simultaneously consider the influence of position error and velocity error on the convergence speed of the weight matrix. Further, two positive definite matrices are constructed to prove the stability of the system based on Lyapunov theory, and the upper bound for the containment errors is provided. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through numerical simulation experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work, the robust containment control problem of uncertain networked agent systems is addressed. The dynamics of both the followers and the leaders involve uncertain nonlinear components. Theoretically, a neural network-based adaptive control scheme with the event-triggered mechanism is designed for the follower agents to approach the convex hull which is composed of the leader agents. Furthermore, a unified event-triggered mechanism is designed to ensure that the neural networks synchronize with the reduced update frequency of the robust controller, while ensuring that both are updated solely when the system error state reaches a predetermined triggering condition. The designed event-triggered containment control scheme minimizes unnecessary communication and computation resulting from periodic updates, thereby enhancing the efficiency of communication and computational resource utilization. Then, by utilizing the Lyapunov stability theorem, it is proven that all signals of the closed-loop system are globally uniformly ultimately bounded, and Zeno behavior is strictly excluded. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed containment control scheme is verified through numerical simulation results. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
