The rapid growth of location-based services (LBS) has yielded massive amounts of data on human mobility. Effectively extracting meaningful representations for user-generated check-in sequences is pivotal for facilitating various downstream services. However, the user-generated check-in data are simultaneously influenced by the surrounding objective circumstances and the user’s subjective intention. Specifically, the temporal uncertainty and spatial diversity exhibited in check-in data make it difficult to capture the macroscopic spatial-temporal patterns of users and to understand the semantics of user mobility activities. Furthermore, the distinct characteristics of the temporal and spatial information in check-in sequences call for an effective fusion method to incorporate these two types of information. In this paper, we propose a novel Spatial-Temporal Cross-view Contrastive Representation (STCCR) framework for check-in sequence representation learning. Specifically, STCCR addresses the above challenges by employing self-supervision from"spatial topic" and"temporal intention" views, facilitating effective fusion of spatial and temporal information at the semantic level. Besides, STCCR leverages contrastive clustering to uncover users’ shared spatial topics from diverse mobility activities, while employing angular momentum contrast to mitigate the impact of temporal uncertainty and noise. We extensively evaluate STCCR on three real-world datasets and demonstrate its superior performance across three downstream tasks. © 2024, CC BY.

Intellectual property transactions have shown a strong growth momentum in recent years, but the patent transaction market has been plagued by the matching degree of consumers and sellers, resulting in frequent problems such as low patent transformation efficiency and poor transaction quality. This paper proposes a method of recommending patents to consumers by experts to improve the environment of patent transactions. Through the analysis of the past transaction information of the patent, the effective path information of the target is extracted. The graph neural network is used to describe the characteristics and semantics among experts, patents and consumers, and then capture the potential weight among them through the common attention mechanism, and then dynamically integrate them to predict the occurrence of recommendation behavior. The paper makes reasonable use of social information and expert information in the transaction, which significantly improves the rationality and accuracy of expert recommendation.

The primary objective of outlier detection is to identify values that are significantly different from other data in the dataset. However, most of the current algorithms are effective for small-scale data and their performance is highly dependent on the choice of parameters. To this, the paper proposes an innovative outlier detection algorithm, named FBOD, which is based on data features. Specifically, FBOD utilizes the number of combinations of attribute values in each tuple across the dataset as a key feature of the tuple. This feature reflects the degree of differentiation of each data tuple from the overall dataset. By identifying data features that are significantly different from objects in the entire dataset, FBOD can accurately determine outliers. Based on the knowledge of attribute importance in Rough Set Theory, FBOD can efficiently reduce the data dimensionality, so high-dimensional datasets can be handled by FBOD. Furthermore, this paper employs a distributed parallelism approach in the algorithm. The performance of FBOD is evaluated on several datasets, including standard datasets and artificial datasets, and is compared with common outlier detection algorithms. Experimental results indicate that, compared to existing typical algorithms, FBOD achieves higher outlier detection accuracy without relying on a prior knowledge of datasets or parameter selection. It also proves the suitability of FBOD for large-scale dataset processing on distributed platforms.

In recent years,autonomous driving technology has made good progress,but the noncooperative intelligence of vehicle for autonomous driving still has many technical bottlenecks when facing urban road autonomous driving challenges.V2I(Vehicle-to-Infrastructure)communication is a potential solution to enable cooperative intelligence of vehicles and *** this paper,the RGB-PVRCNN,an environment perception framework,is proposed to improve the environmental awareness of autonomous vehicles at intersections by leveraging V2I communication *** framework integrates vision feature based on *** normal distributions transform(NDT)point cloud registration algorithm is deployed both on onboard and roadside to obtain the position of the autonomous vehicles and to build the local map objects detected by roadside multi-sensor system are sent back to autonomous vehicles to enhance the perception ability of autonomous vehicles for benefiting path planning and traffic efficiency at the *** field-testing results show that our method can effectively extend the environmental perception ability and range of autonomous vehicles at the intersection and outperform the PointPillar algorithm and the VoxelRCNN algorithm in detection accuracy.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is the early stage of AD. Previous studies have predominantly focused on binary classification using 3 dimensional - convolutional neural network (3D-CNN) for AD diagnosis, with limited progress in multi-classification. Moreover, the current 3D-CNNs often adopt a single-scale architecture with massive parameters growth. Additionally, obtaining precise location information of brain imaging data is crucial for improving the classification accuracy with 3D-CNN. Hence, we propose a multi-scale 3D-CNN based on coordinate attention mechanism to marvelously capture and integrate 3D features with fewer parameters, improving the accuracy of AD diagnosis. A total of 447 cognitively normal (CN), 512 MCI, and 358 AD sMRI images from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative datasets are used for multi-class classification task, yielding a classification accuracy of 92.8%. The model merely involves 2.41 M parameters and achieves the best classification results with the least number of parameters when compared to other representative CNN architectures including ResNet 18, ResNet 34, ConvNeXt tiny, and VGG 11. Through the ablation experiment, the addition of attention mechanism and the multi-scale classification enhances the classification performance by 4.5% and 1.5%, respectively. Furthermore, our model outperforms the other six existing studies in terms of accuracy for classifying AD vs. MCI vs. CN. Overall, this study underscores the efficacy of our approach for AD diagnosis, showcasing its utility in diagnosing AD patients and providing novel insights for diagnosing other neurological disorder diseases.

A Constraints Fusion-induced Symmetric Nonnegative Matrix Factorization Approach for Community Detection

Community is a fundamental and critical characteristic of an undirected social network, making community detection be a vital yet thorny issue in network representation learning. A symmetric and non-negative matrix factorization (SNMF) model is frequently adopted to address this issue owing to its great interpretability and scalability. However, it adopts a single latent factor matrix to represent an undirected network for precisely representing its symmetry, which leads to loss of representation learning ability due to the reduced latent space. Motivated by this discovery, this paper proposes a novel Constraints Fusion-induced Symmetric Nonnegative Matrix Factorization (CFS) model that adopts three-fold ideas: a) Representing a target undirected network with multiple latent factor matrices, thus preserving its representation learning capacity;b) Incorporating a symmetry-regularizer that preserves the symmetry of the learnt low-rank approximation to the adjacency matrix into the loss function, thus making the resultant detector well-aware of the target network's symmetry;and c) Introducing a graph-regularizer that preserves local invariance of the network's intrinsic geometry, thus making the achieved detector well-aware of community structure within the target network. Extensively empirical studies on eight real-world social networks from industrial applications demonstrate that the proposed CFS model significantly outperforms state-of-the-art models in achieving highly-accurate community detection results. Aiming at the network security problem of the blockchain system, the game model based on Markov is proposed. The model perceives the network security situation of the blockchain system, accurately and comprehensively evaluates the current security status of the system through clustering screening and attack game, dynamically evaluates the security situation of the system, and establishes an attack transfer network and the best reinforcement scheme. The experiment shows that the Markov game model based on 51% double spend attack can evaluate and predict the current and future security status of the blockchain system, and can reduce the asset loss caused by blockchain attacks to a certain extent.

Detecting fake news on social media has become a crucial task in combating online misinformation and countering malicious propaganda. Existing methods rely on semantic consistency across modalities to fuse features and determine news authenticity. However, cunning fake news publisher manipulate image to ensure a high level of semantic consistency between news post and image, making it more difficult to distinguish fake news. To this end, we propose MHFFD (Mixed High-Frequency Feature Detector), a novel fake news detection framework that utilizes token-level semantic consistency evaluation to identify key elements in news content and provide guidance for discovering image manipulation and learning better news representations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MHFFD outperforms state-of-the-art methods on two widely used fake news detection datasets. Further research also validates the effectiveness of token-level semantic alignment and manipulation detection.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR), with its large patient population, has become a formidable threat to human visual health. In the clinical diagnosis of DR, multi-view fundus images are considered to be more suitable for DR diagnosis because of the wide coverage of the field of view. Therefore, different from the previous single-view DR grading methods, we design a dynamic selection-driven multi-view DR grading method to fit clinical scenarios better. Since lesion information plays a key role in DR diagnosis, previous methods usually boost the model performance by enhancing the lesion feature. However, during the actual diagnosis, ophthalmologists not only focus on the crucial parts, but also exclude irrelevant features to ensure the accuracy of judgment. To this end, we introduce the idea of dynamic selection and design a series of selection mechanisms from fine granularity to coarse granularity. In this work, we first introduce an Ophthalmic Image Reader (OIR) agent to provide the model with pixel-level prompts of suspected lesion areas. Moreover, we design a Multi-View Token Selection Module (MVTSM) that prunes redundant feature tokens and dynamically selects key information. In the final decision stage, we dynamically fuse multi-view features through the novel Multi-View Mixture of Experts Module (MVMoEM), to enhance key views and reduce the impact of conflicting views. Extensive experiments on a large multi-view fundus image dataset with 34,452 images prove that our method performs favorably against state-of-the-art models.
