data centers,as the infrastructure of all information services,cost tremendous amount of *** the hot spot temperature in the data center room is benefit to prevent overheating of devices,and to increase cooling system *** this paper,we study the problem of optimal power distribution among racks for minimal hot spot *** temperature rise matrix(TRM)model is used for the purpose of fast estimation of the thermal *** accuracy of the model is evaluated by conducting numerical simulations of computational fluid dynamics(CFD).Using the TRM model,optimal distributing of heating power is converted into a linear programming problem,which can be solved by highly efficient algorithms,such as ***,with realistic constraints including rack idle power and power upper limit,an iteration method is proposed to calculate the optimal power distribution along with the optimal on/off states of the *** solutions are discussed and validated by comparing with CFD *** show that the TRM model is acceptable in evaluating temperature rises in the forced-convection-dominated scenarios,and the proposed method is able to obtain optimal power distributions under various levels of total power demand.

Lactobacillus delbrueckii ***(***)and Streptococcus thermophilus(***)are commonly used starters in milk *** experiments revealed that *** interactions(Lb St I)substantially impact dairy product quality and *** biological humidity experiments are time-consuming and labor-intensive in screening interaction combinations,an artificial intelligence-based method for screening interactive starter combinations is ***,in the current research on artificial intelligence based interaction prediction in the field of bioinformatics,most successful models adopt supervised learning methods,and there is a lack of research on interaction prediction with only a small number of labeled ***,this study aimed to develop a semi-supervised learning framework for predicting Lb St I using genomic data from 362 isolates(181per species).The framework consisted of a two-part model:a co-clustering prediction model(based on the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)dataset)and a Laplacian regularized least squares prediction model(based on K-mer analysis and gene composition of all isolates datasets).To enhance accuracy,we integrated the separate outcomes produced by each component of the two-part model to generate the ultimate Lb St I prediction results,which were verified through milk fermentation *** through milk fermentation experiments confirmed a high precision rate of 85%(17/20;validated with 20 randomly selected combinations of expected interacting isolates).Our data suggest that the biosynthetic pathways of cysteine,riboflavin,teichoic acid,and exopolysaccharides,as well as the ATP-binding cassette transport systems,contribute to the mutualistic relationship between these starter bacteria during milk ***,this finding requires further experimental *** presented model and data are valuable resources for academics an

In navigation and wayfinding applications, signage is crucial for finding destinations. This paper proposes a new method for detecting signage, with the aim of helping blind individuals navigate unfamiliar indoor environments. To enhance the accuracy of signage detection and eliminate interference, the proposed method initially obtains the attended areas through a saliency map. The signage is then identified in these attended areas using SIFT algorithm-based adaptive threshold. This innovative approach is capable of detecting and recognizing multiple signs. Finally, audio facilitates the detection and recognition of results transferred to the users. Our experimental results, based on indoor signage datasets we collected, demonstrate the efficiency of our proposed method. Angiosperm genus classification performance has plateaued in the last few years. This paper proposed a novel method based on gray-level co-occurrence matrix and radial basis function kernel support vector machine for angiosperm genus classification. We collected a 300-image dataset, 100 are Hibiscus, 100 are Orchis, and the rest 100 are Prunus by digital camera. The results showed that our method achieved an accuracy of 84.73 ± 0.41%. The scarcity of public resources and environmental pollution caused by rapid urbanization highlight the practical significance of parks in ensuring the sustainable development of a ***,the social equity of parks warrants further *** paper proposes a fine-grained comprehensive evaluation framework that combines geographic accessibility models,geo-statistical analysis,and machine learning algorithms to explore social inequity in Taiyuan,*** this framework,gini coefficient and lorentz curve express spatial equality,accessibility shows spatial equity,and ridge regression model handles the interdependence of variables with different dimensions to quantify the relative effects of local participants on changes in park *** this basis,the imbalance between vulnerable groups and park supply is analyzed to further understand the core concept of social *** highlight serious spatial inequality in all three types of parks allocation of six urban areas,especially in commu-nity *** actual access level of people to parks is also stratified by their demographic and socioeconomic characteristics,revealing the social inequity in access to *** distribution is indeed not conducive to some social vulnerable groups,whose contradiction between supply and demand is highly prominent in urban-rural junctions and new urban *** paper also confirms the unfair layout of public facilities can be observed in second-tier cities of China by highlighting the social inequity of parks in *** findings of this work have profound implications for urban planning and sustainable development.

In energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy,the estimation of the pulse amplitude determines the accuracy of the spectrum *** error generated by the amplitude estimation of the pulse output distorted by the measurement system leads to false peaks in the measured *** eliminate these false peaks and achieve an accurate estimation of the distorted pulse amplitude,a composite neural network model is proposed,which embeds long and short-term memory(LSTM)into the UNet *** UNet network realizes the fusion of pulse sequence features and the LSTM model realizes pulse amplitude *** model is trained using simulated pulse datasets with different amplitudes and distortion *** the pulse height estimation,the average relative error of the trained model on the test set was approximately 0.64%,which is 27.37% lower than that of the traditional trapezoidal shaping *** processing of a standard iron source further validated the pulse height estimation performance of the UNet-LSTM *** estimating the amplitude of the distorted pulses using the model,the false peak area was reduced by approximately 91% over the full spectrum and was corrected to the characteristic peak region of interest(ROI).The corrected peak area accounted for approximately 1.32%of the characteristic peak ROI *** results indicate that the model can accurately estimate the height of distorted pulses and has substantial corrective effects on false peaks.

The Broad Learning System (BLS) has been extensively developed and applied across various fields due to its significant advantages, including high efficiency, strong generality, and scalability. However, in practical applications where both inputs and outputs are contaminated by noise, traditional BLS demonstrates suboptimal performance in handling sample data. This study introduces a novel regularized total least squares broad learning system (RTLS-BLS) designed to enhance the robustness of BLS when noisy values are present in both the input and the output of the training set. Initially, the k-support norm is integrated into the BLS-based autoencoder (BLS-AE), embedded within BLS, to extract robust features from the original input data. The BLS-AE equipped with the k-support norm effectively addresses or mitigates issues related to overly sparse (based on L1-norm) or overly dense (based on L2-norm) regularization of extracted features. Subsequently, regularized total least squares (RTLS) are employed to assess the output weights of BLS, further enhancing its robustness. Moreover, simultaneous perturbation measures for the coefficient matrix and the output are provided. Experimental results from two function approximation tasks, eight benchmark regression tasks, and two network interface flow datasets demonstrate that the proposed RTLS-BLS achieves significantly robust performance under noisy conditions compared to other methods. © 2025 Codon Publications. Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) promises to improve the received signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio by manipulating the phase shift of the incident wave. However, the traditional RIS can only reflect the signal by one side and the other half space is blocked. Fortunately, the emerging simultaneous transmitting and reflecting RIS (STAR-RIS) can solve this problem. STAR-RIS supports to reflect and transmit the signal at the same time and then realize the 360-degree coverage. In this paper, we analyze the performance of STAR-RIS assisted unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) empowered wireless communication systems, including the outage probability and the ergodic achievable rate. The general fading channels, i.e., the Nakagami-m fading channels are considered. We first derived the closed-form expression of the outage probability and the ergodic achievable rate, and then explore a series of insights. The numerical results verify the correctness of our analytical expressions by Monte Carlo simulations.
