In order to overcome the premarure risk of differential evolution algorithm, harmony search mechanism is introduced to optimize the pattern synthesis of multiple input and multiple output radar. Firstly, the memory of harmony search receives the optimizing results of differential evolution algorithm. And then it disturbs the local best to achieve better global optimization results. The advantage of novel method than standard differential evolution is tested with benchmark function while it can also maintain the diversity of population. What's more, several experiments are conducted to show that the optimal peak side lobe level and convergence performance have been achieved better through the proposed algorithm for multiple input and multiple output radar.

A Hybrid Blockchain-Based Identity Authentication Scheme for Mobile Crowd Sensing

With the continuous innovation and popularization of mobile smart devices, the application of Mobile Crowd Sensing (MCS) has been widely studied. However, the existing centralized MCS applications that use servers for task publishing and data collection have common problems such as a single point of failure and privacy protection. Based on this, we proposes a hybrid blockchain-based identity authentication scheme for MCS named HBIA, which uses blockchain technology to solve the single point failure problem of MCS. HBIA builds a cluster structure based on factors such as geographical location and balance, and uses this to build a hybrid blockchain, with the cluster head node and the node within the cluster authenticating on the public chain and the private chain respectively, and the use of Zero-knowledge proof(ZKP) to ensure the identity privacy of participants, thus balancing the contradiction between blockchain transparency and participant identity privacy. In addition, HBIA uses zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive argument of knowledge(zk-SNARKs) technology to implement off-chain computing and on-chain verification, further reducing the workload of the blockchain. Finally, the HBIA scheme was tested on the Ethereum public test network Ropsten, and the test results showed that the identity authentication scheme proposed in this paper has advantages in execution time and throughput. © 2022, The Authors. This paper explores the size-invariance of evaluation metrics in Salient Object Detection (SOD), especially when multiple targets of diverse sizes co-exist in the same image. We observe that current metrics are size-sensitive, where larger objects are focused, and smaller ones tend to be ignored. We argue that the evaluation should be size-invariant because bias based on size is unjustified without additional semantic information. In pursuit of this, we propose a generic approach that evaluates each salient object separately and then combines the results, effectively alleviating the imbalance. We further develop an optimization framework tailored to this goal, achieving considerable improvements in detecting objects of different sizes. Theoretically, we provide evidence supporting the validity of our new metrics and present the generalization analysis of SOD. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. Getting robots to navigate to multiple objects autonomously is essential yet difficult in robot applications. One of the key challenges is how to explore environments efficiently with camera sensors only. Existing navigation methods mainly focus on fixed cameras and few attempts have been made to navigate with active cameras. As a result, the agent may take a very long time to perceive the environment due to limited camera scope. In contrast, humans typically gain a larger field of view by looking around for a better perception of the environment. How to make robots perceive the environment as efficiently as humans is a fundamental problem in robotics. In this paper, we consider navigating to multiple objects more efficiently with active cameras. Specifically, we cast moving camera to a Markov Decision Process and reformulate the active camera problem as a reinforcement learning problem. However, we have to address two new challenges: 1) how to learn a good camera policy in complex environments and 2) how to coordinate it with the navigation policy. To address these, we carefully design a reward function to encourage the agent to explore more areas by moving camera actively. Moreover, we exploit human experience to infer a rule-based camera action to guide the learning process. Last, to better coordinate two kinds of policies, the camera policy takes navigation actions into account when making camera moving decisions. Experimental results show our camera policy consistently improves the performance of multi-object navigation over four baselines on two datasets.

Nowadays, the best-effort service can not guarantee the quality of service (QoS) for all kinds of services. QoS routing is an important method to guarantee QoS requirements. It involves path selection for flows based on the current network status and the performance criteria of the service requirements. However, it is difficult for proposed solutions to obtain all the available paths owing to not fully considering all the QoS parameters of paths. In this paper, we propose SWQoS, a novel, universal, and stepwise QoS guarantee scheme based on multiple QoS parameter evaluation for selecting the available paths including preferred paths, satisfied paths and reluctant paths in SDN. The experiments show that SWQoS can select all the available paths that meet the performance criteria of the service requirements and have better QoS parameter performance compared with other path selection methods. © 2021, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Image captioning is still a challenging task aiming at describing the contents of image by words. Current image caption methods usually assume the object relation to be important if the semantic and spatial geometric relationships between objects are close and large, but the relations meeting this assumption are not necessarily important to describe the contents of image in a fine-grained way. That is, the importance of fine-grained object relations is not properly taken into account. Besides, current Transformer based image caption models also fail to consider the importance of fine-grained objects, since they generate all the words of a sentence at one time, which cannot Figure out which objects are more important and vice versa. In this paper, we propose a novel Fine-grained Adaptive Object Transformer (FineFormer) network, which can jointly discover the importance of fine-grained objects and object relations for image captioning. Specifically, a new concept of adaptive soft-foreground attention is proposed to highlight the fine-grained objects dominating the descriptive contents. To characterize and calculate the important relations between fine-grained objects, we also propose an adaptive object relation attention to refine the object relation from the generation process of relation. As such, FineFormer can describe the contents of image more accurately, by reducing the interference of unimportant objects in the background. Extensive experiments on the highly-competitive MS-COCO dataset demonstrated the superiority of our FineFormer.

Quality assessment of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals holds significant importance in reducing the high-frequency false alarms in automated arrhythmia diagnosis. Existing quality assessment methods primarily rely on empirical threshold setting or the calculation of relevant statistical values to formulate decision rules. However, the thresholds set in this manner are typically based on experience and knowledge, resulting in decision rules that lack flexibility and struggle to adapt to changes in the dataset. To address this issue, many researchers have turned to deep learning algorithms for ECG signal quality assessment. Nevertheless, most existing deep learning methods usually require large-scale and labeled ECG data for training, whose acquiring is typically challenging. Therefore, this paper proposes an efficient method for ECG signal quality assessment. First, we use a contrast learning framework to construct sample pairs through multilevel data augmentation. Second, a densely connected convolutional network (DenseNet) is used to improve the model's ability of extracting local features in ECG signals, and a Squeeze-and-Excitation attention module is introduced to make the model pay more attention to critical features. Finally, the feature representation is learned by minimizing the contextual contrast loss to bring similar samples closer and push dissimilar samples farther away. In this way, we can utilize the contrastive learning framework to extract temporal representations from unlabeled data and transfer them to downstream ECG signal quality assessment tasks. Extensive experiments on the Physionet/CinC Challenge 2011 dataset demonstrate that our approach outperforms most existing quality assessment methods.

Chronic diseases such as coronary heart disease (CHD) are of significant harm to human health. However, chronic disease detection commonly relies on many examinations to implement reliable diagnosis, resulting in a fatal delay in therapy. On the other hand, obtained examination data are often incomplete with numerous missing data, which further increases the difficulty in detection. To address this issue, this paper develops an inherently non-negative latent feature analysis-incorporating into a chronic disease detection (INC) model. The main idea are as follows: 1) adopting an inherently non-negative latent feature analysis model with a non-linear function to extract the non-negative latent features from incomplete examination data for accurate prediction of the unknown missing ones; 2) detecting the chronic disease based on the high-dimensional and different types of inspection features via classifiers. Experiments on actual CHD datasets demonstrate that the proposed INC model outperforms state-of-the-art models in detection accuracy, which well fits the desire of preliminary screening on coronary heart disease (CHD).

The smart water meter in water supply network can directly affect water production and usage when faults occur. The traditional method of fault detection is inefficient with time lagging, which is not helpful for modernization of water supply system. The capability of automatic fault diagnosis of smart water meter is an important means to improve the service quality of water supply. In this paper, an automatic fault diagnosis method for the smart device is proposed based on BP neural network. And it was applied on Google Tensorflow platform. Fault symptom vectors were constructed using water meter status data and were used to train the neural network model. In order to improve the learning convergence speed and fault classification effect of the network, a method of weighted symptom was also employed. Experimental results show that it has good performance with a general fault diagnosis accuracy of 98.82%. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
