Supervisory control reconfiguration has been paid more attention due to its capacity of handling the uncertainties including resource failures, capability degradation, and task changes in discrete event systems. However, the robustness of closed-loop systems in response to some specification changes was not addressed in the prior studies. This paper presents a reconfiguration method based on Petri nets and integer programming for supervisory control of resource allocation systems with changeable resource allocation relationships (control specifications). First, we propose a reconfiguration mechanism. It updates the P-invariant-based supervisor and evolves the state of the closed-loop system. The latter adapts to the certain changes in specifications by the self-regulation of the closed-loop system's state. It utilizes fully the robustness in a closed-loop system and avoids unnecessary modification of a supervisor. Then, a reconfiguration model with robustness analysis is proposed based on integer programming. By using it, a firing sequence of transitions as a serial of reconfiguration actions can be found. The execution of the sequence implements the state evolution of a closed-loop system. There is no need for making additional efforts to analyze state reachability of the system, since the firability condition of transitions is incorporated into the model. Finally, the method is illustrated through an example of a hospital emergency service system. © 2013 IEEE.

With mobile agent technology, multi-agent traffic management system is one effective approach to realize the demand-based control. Traffic signal controller is the base of traffic management system. Hence, the realization of traffic signal controller based on mobile agent is indispensable. In this paper, we detailed the traffic signal controller based on Mobile agent in CASIA. After reviewing the development of industrial manufacturing, a novel concept called social manufacturing(SM) and service are proposed as an innovative manufacturing solution for the coming personalized customization era. SM can realize a customer's requirements of "from mind to products", and fulfill tangible and intangible needs of a prosumer, i.e., producer and consumer at the same time. It represents a manufacturing trend,and is expected to become popular in more and more ***, a comparison between mass customization and SM is given out, and the basis and motivation from social network to SM is analyzed. Then, its basic theories and supporting technologies,like Internet of Things(Io T), social networks, cloud computing,3 D printing, and intelligent systems, are introduced and analyzed,and an SM platform prototype is developed. Finally, three transformation modes towards SM and 3 D printing are suggested for different user cases.

Machine learning has achieved great success in many areas today, but the forecast effect of machine learning often depends on the specific problem. An ensemble learning forecasts results by combining multiple base classifiers. Therefore, its ability to adapt to various scenarios is strong, and the classification accuracy is high. In response to the low classification accuracy of the darkest source magnitude set of stars/galaxies in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), a star/galaxy classification algorithm based on the stacking ensemble learning is proposed in this paper. The complete photometric data set is obtained from the SDSS Data Release (DR) 7, and divided into the bright source magnitude set, dark source magnitude set, and darkest source magnitude set according to the stellar magnitude. Firstly, the 10-fold nested cross-validation method is used for the darkest source magnitude set, then the Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF), and eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithms are used to establish the base-classifier model;the Gradient Boosting Decision Tree (GBDT) is used as the meta-classifier model. Finally, based on the classification accuracy of galaxies and other indicators, the classification results are analyzed and compared with the results obtained by the Function Tree (FT), SVM, RF, GBDT, Stacked Denoising Autoencoders (SDAE), Deep Belief Nets (DBN), and Deep Perception Decision Tree (DPDT) models. The experimental results show that the stacking ensemble learning model has improved the classification accuracy of galaxies in the darkest source magnitude set by nearly 10% compared to the function tree algorithm. Compared with other traditional machine learning algorithm, stronger lifting algorithm, and deep learning algorithm, the stacking ensemble learning model also has different degrees of improvement. © 2020

We study the fabric spreading and cutting problem in apparel *** the sake of saving the material costs,the cutting requirement should be met exactly without producing additional garment *** reducing the production costs,the number of lays that corresponds to the frequency of using the cutting beds should be *** propose an iterated greedy algorithm for solving the fabric spreading and cutting *** algorithm contains a constructive procedure and an improving *** the constructive procedure creates a set of lays in sequence,and then the improving loop tries to pick each lay from the lay set and rearrange the remaining lays into a smaller lay *** improving loop will run until it cannot obtain any smaller lay set or the time limit is *** experiment results on 500 cases show that the proposed algorithm is effective and efficient.

A Kind of Lean Approach for Removing Wastes From Non-Manufacturing Process With Various Facilities

It is important to identify and remove the wastes not only from manufacturing process, but also from nonmanufacturing process. In the last several decades, significant research achievements and practice benefits have been achieved about removing wastes from manufacturing process. Since the1990 s, some researchers and lean practitioners have paid more attention to removing waste from non-manufacturing *** on the authors' research work and industrial practice, the paper introduces a kind of lean approach for removing waste from non-manufacturing process. In its case study, the order handling process in a value chain is described with respect to a factory and its downstream distribution centers(DCs). The paper proposes a lean approach solution for creating the improved order handling process, and analyze how great improvements in performance can be achieved. As a result, the significant achievement has created a win-win scenario for both the nonmanufacturing process in a factory and non-manufacturing facilities(like DCs) across the value chain. It demonstrates that improvements have been made by removing waste from the non-manufacturing process that takes place within a factory as well as with external participants through the whole value chain. Likewise, the proposed lean approach has helped the case companies to achieve greater levels of efficiency and more benefits. Finally, some conclusions are drawn.

A variety of faults often occurduring the operation of PV arrays, which may seriously affect the normal operation of the system, the machine diagnosis of the types of fault has become a hotspot in the field of photovoltaic power generation. This paper proposes a novel fault diagnostic technique for photovoltaic systems based on Cascaded Forest. Through the in-depth analysis of the output of PV arrays froma data platform of ShijiazhuangKelin Electric Co, the input variables of the diagnosis model are obtained. Compared with other fault diagnosis methods for the PV array, the proposed method can work under a small number of tagged data and the system can be run online and real-time. Finally, the experimental results show that the fault diagnosis method for the PV array based on the cascading forests can effectively detect four types of fault for PV array such as short-circuit, open-circuit, abnormal degradation and partial shading. This method has a good value for the intelligent fault diagnosis of PV. © 2017 Association for computing Machinery.

In recent years, the application of new network architecture SDN combined with reinforcement learning in the field of artificial intelligence is more and more extensive, considering the diversity and complexity of traffic transmission. This paper proposes a DDPG-EREP(Enhanced and renewable experience pool) algorithm that dynamically plans the experience pool capacity and sampling size according to the current iteration number, and can update the experience in time, and applies it to SDN routing optimization. In addition, good results have been achieved through experiments, including better training speed and better routing optimization of SDN.

The urban traffic coordination controls (UTCCs) can make full use of the mutual advantages of intersections, which makes it can improve the traffic access capacity and decrease the possibility of traffic congestion in intersections. This paper gives an overview of UTCCs. After reviewing the concept of UTCCs, we survey the several main hot topics in UTCCs: the correlation degree analysis of intersections, the division approach of traffic control subareas and the objects of coordination. This paper provides a survey of urban traffic coordination controls with the goal of promoting research in this area and concludes with some comments on future research directions. © 2012 IEEE.

Artificial Transportation systems (ATS) provide a comprehensive perspective to study actual transportation systems, which are a kind of open and complex giant system referring to diverse engineering and social disciplines. To make use of achievements from related research fields, ontology for ATS is constructed in this paper. Besides conceptual model involved in modeling and applications of ATS, the compatibility with other ontology is considered. Further, an ontological knowledge base with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) is designed to manage information and knowledge in ATS. The architecture and interfaces of the knowledge base are presented. Benefit from this, construction and applications of ATS can be conducted on a uniform information and knowledge platform. A case study about traffic jam pattern is demonstrated. © 2012 IEEE.
