Data mining is one hot orientation in today’s research *** activity recognition is meaningful in our daily living and is a significant aspect in data *** previously research is almost based on tri-axial *** paper presents a novel method to collect data from both accelerometer and gyroscope using *** daily activities including Walking,Running,Upstairs,Downstairs,Standing,Sitting and Cycling,a total of seven categories are *** raw data from MEMS are recorded by smartphone according to different daily *** improve the accuracy of classification for daily activities,this paper combines time-series features with wavelet coefficients to extract *** recognize these activities,the support vector machine is used to finish this ***,we compare the accuracy with other machine learning methods,such as k-nearest neighbor algorithm and neural network or decision *** result indicates that our method can achieve nearly 96%classification accuracy for the seven kinds of daily activities.

In this paper, the model of a novel liquid-circular angular accelerometer is studied. Due to the absence of theoretical model of liquid-circular angular accelerometer, a subspace identification method(SIM) based on Akaike Information Criterion(AIC) is chosen for model identification of angular accelerometer. The proposed identification method is tested on a liquid-circular angular accelerometer prototype. The experimental results indicate that SIM could obtain a more accurate model than least square method, with a degree of fitting above 90%. In addition, SIM possesses good repeatability and stability. The experimental model identified by SIM in this paper can be applied in engineering practice.

Traditional centralized energy systems have the disadvantages of difficult management and insufficient incentives. Blockchain is an emerging technology, which can be utilized in energy systems to enhance their management and control. Integrating token economy and blockchain technology, token economic systems in energy possess the characteristics of strong incentives and low cost, facilitating integrating renewable energy and demand side management, and providing guarantees for improving energy efficiency and reducing emission. This article describes the concept and functionality of token economics, and then analyzes the feasibility of applying token economics in the energy systems, and finally discuss the applications of token economics with an example in integrated energy systems. In micromanipulation, lots of methods have been developed to manipulate objects in microscale. However, few of them can be applied in both the transportation and the rotation of the micro objects. In this paper, we present a novel method to realize the non-contact transportation and rotation of the micro objects based on the vibration-induced swirl flow. A piezo actuator is set between the glass needle and a metal rod. The sine wave with controlled frequency and amplitude is input into the piezo actuator to drive the glass needle to move circularly, which is caused by resonance of the actuator and the metal rod. We place the glass needle under water and keep a limited distance to the bottom. The circular vibration of the glass needle can generate a swirl flow and low pressure around it. The low pressure can trap and transport the micro objects vertically to the glass needle, and the swirl flow can rotate the objects continuously. Finally, we realize the trap and rotation of micro object with only one piezo actuator. Experiments of transportation and rotation of microbeads are carried out, and the results demonstrate it is a simple, low-cost, effective micromanipulation method. © 2017 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of mean square exponential stabilization for sampled-data Markovin jump systems is studied. A time-scheduled Lyapunov functional consisting of a exponential-type looped function is constructed using segmentation technology and linear interpolation. Based on this new Lyapunov functional, a less conservative mean square exponential stability criterion is obtained such that a bigger maximum decay rate can be easily calculated. Meanwhile, the quantitative relationship among some system parameters, maximum sampling period, and decay rate is established. Moreover, a time-dependent state feedback sample-data controller is designed. Significant improvements of the proposed exponential-type time-scheduled Lyapunov functional method over some existing ones are verified by numerical examples.

Improving Auction Mechanisms for Online Real-Time Bidding Advertising with a Two-stage Resale Model

Real Time Bidding (RTB), widely publicized as one of the most promising big-data-driven business models for online computational advertising, has the potential of effectively monetizing user clicks and impressions via two-stage auctions with resale. Demand side platforms (DSPs) play a key role as intermediators in this auction process. Typically, the first-stage auctions will be conducted separately in each DSP to determine one winning advertiser registered on it, and in the second-stage auction, each DSP submits a bid based on its winning advertiser's bid to the ad exchange platform (AdX). The highest-bid DSP wins the ad impression from AdX and resells it to its winning advertiser in pursuit of the intermediate fee. This two-stage resale auction is a critical component in maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of RTB ecosystems. In this paper, we strive to identify and design potential improvements for this auction mechanism with the aim of enhancing the total revenue of both advertisers and DSPs. We also validated our proposed auction mechanisms using the computational experiment approach. The experimental results indicate that our proposed mechanisms can make both advertisers and DSPs better off. Our work represents the first step towards a new research area of optimal mechanism design for RTB auctions, and is expected to provide useful managerial insights in RTB market practice. © 2017

In the modern war, many combat units combat collectively has become the main form. In the task management of the combat units, the calculation is large and the real-time requirement is high. To solve the problem better, a joint task management method of sensor and weapon based on distributed management system is proposed. Firstly, the distributed management system is constructed according to the target trajectory and the distribution of combat units. In the system, all the combat units are divided into several combinations, which only consist of a few combat units. As a result, the problem scale is reduced, and the real-time requirement of battlefield is met. Secondly, joint task management model of sensor and weapon is established. We consider time constraints and resource constraints to ensure the feasibility of the attack scheme, and consider the impact between sensor and weapon to achieve better combat effect. A discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm based on crossover strategy (CDPSO) is proposed to solve the model. The results show that the performance of the proposed algorithm is satisfactory in joint task management of sensor and weapon.

Distributed generation (DG) is connected through three-phase inverter to the microgrid. The virtual power based droop control can guarantee the pure decoupling between active and reactive power irrespective of low-voltage or high-voltage microgrid application if the line-impedance information is known in advance. However, unbalances are commonly existent in practice so that this conventional control fails in application due to the significant coupling between active and reactive power. To overcome this problem and further extend virtual power based method into unbalanced conditions, this paper proposes an improved virtual power decoupling technique using full-dq transformation, which is utilized to identify arbitrary unbalanced components under unbalanced conditions. The identified unbalances are further compensated as an virtual impedance so as to ensure the pure decoupling of active and reactive power in the virtual power frame. Finally, simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method under unbalanced conditions.

Massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO), with giant array size and multi-dimension array structure, has been widely considered as a key physical layer technique in future wireless communications. With regarding the large number of antenna elements, some new challenges and issues are arising, e.g. modeling the near-field effects in MIMO channel and the high computational complexity. To solve these problems, a statistical channel model is proposed based on the cluster delay line(CDL) framework. The proposed model focuses on the spherical wavefront theory, thus can be applied to the massive MIMO system. Furthermore, the map-based ray tracing algorithm with low complexity is used to compute the statistical parameters, such as pathloss, delay spread, etc., The numerical analysis results show that the proposed channel model is enable to describe the main characteristics of massive MIMO channel.
