Millimeter-wave MIMO will use hybrid precoding to improve the spectral efficiency. In this paper, we propose a spectral efficient hybrid precoding algorithm. In order to maximize the projection of hybrid precoding matrix on the optimal precoding matrix, we design the analog precoding matrix by selecting an optimal combination from the candidate matrix. Then, we regard the channel matrix and the obtained analog precoding matrix as an equivalent channel matrix, and use regularized zero-forcing to acquire the digital precoding matrix. Finally, we present simulation results of the proposed hybrid precoding algorithm and show that the algorithm approaches the optimal precoding.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) plays an imperative role in the clinical diagnosis of heart disease and heart abnormalities. In order to obtain the original ECG signal morphology, the wavelet threshold technique is usually used for ECG signal de-noising, in which threshold function and thresholds play very important role. In this paper, an improved threshold function with adjustable shape parameter was structured to improve the problems of the constant deviation in soft threshold function and the discontinuousness in hard threshold function. And then, an optimization strategy based on artificial bee colony algorithm with mean square error (MSE) as the objective function is embedded into the process of de-noising to quickly determine the optimal shape parameter and thresholds. Subsequently, a series of the simulation experiment are carried out by using two benchmark signals and real ECG signal with different noise levels. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the MSE after de-noising are used as evaluation index of the proposed method. The evaluation results demonstrate that the improved threshold function shows a better performance than the traditional threshold functions under different noise levels, and the proposed method is effective for the selections of the optimal shape parameter and thresholds in ECG signal de-noising. © VDE VERLAG GMBH - Berlin - Offenbach.

As artificial bee colony algorithm is sensitive to the initial solutions, and is easy to fall into local optimum and premature convergence, this study presents a novel artificial bee colony algorithm based on uniform design to acquire the better initial solutions. It introduces an initialization method with uniform design to replace random initialization, and selects the better ones of those initial bees generated by the initialization method as the initial bee colony. This study also introduces a crossover operator based on uniform design, which can search evenly the solutions in the small vector space formed by two parents. This can increase searching efficiency and accuracy. The best two of the offsprings generated by the crossover operator based on uniform design are taken as new offsprings, and they are compared with their parents to determine whether to update their patents or not. The crossover operator can ensure that the proposed algorithm searches uniformly the solution space. Experimental results performed on several frequently used test functions demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has more outstanding performance and better global searching ability than standard artificial bee colony algorithm. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.

There are a wide range of genes in single-cell data, but some are not beneficial to classification. In order to eliminate these redundant genes and select beneficial genes, this study first utilises the information gain (IG) to select some genes coarsely, then uses the modified fruit fly optimisation algorithm (FOA) to choose the relevant genes refinedly from the subsets after performing IG. The proposed algorithm makes full use of respective advantages of the IG and FOA, and is abbreviated as IGFOA. The proposed algorithm is implemented on multiple scRNA-seq datasets with various numbers of cells and genes, and the obtained results validate that the IGFOA can select effectively some superior genes and acquire good classification performance. This paper demonstrates the design and fabrication of three-dimensional(3 D) hexagonally ordered microbowl arrays(MBAs) decorated with Cu In S2 nanosheets for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC) performance. The 3 D MBAs are fabricated by a micro-fabrication technique. The ultrathin CuInS2 nanosheets are grown on the 3 D electrodes by solvothermal transformation of Cu film. The photocurrent density of 3 D photocathode(CuInS2@MBAs) is about two times higher than that of the planar counterpart(CuInS2@Planar). The improved PEC performance can be ascribed to the elevated light trapping ability and the increased surface area for loading photocatalysts. In addition, CdS quantum dots as cocatalysts are modified onto the Cu In S2 nanosheets to further enhance the PEC activity because the formed p-n heterojunction can accelerate the separation of photogenerated carriers. As a result, the 3 D photocathode of CuInS2/CdS@MBAs shows an optimal incident photon to current efficiency of 10% at the wavelength of400 nm. It is believed that this work can be generalized to design other hierarchical 3 D photoelectrodes for improved solar water splitting.

complex fuzzy sets have been successfully applied to many domains. In some applications, complex fuzzy operators play an vital role, especially those results depend on the particular choice of the conjunction, disjunction and complement operators. This paper introduces an equivalence relation on complex fuzzy sets, called parallelity. Then we provide a criterion that operators should satisfy the property of parallelity preserving, for the choices of complex fuzzy operators. In this article, we introduce a filtering antenna with broadband and a compact design. It leverages metasurface (MTS) technology in conjunction with the complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) topology. The antenna consists of three parts, including the feeding line, the aperture layer, and the MTS layer. The MTS is excited by a coupled aperture cut out of the ground plane. Besides, the CSRR is loaded on the ground plane to utilize the resonant characteristic and obtain a low-frequency radiation null. Furthermore, the MTS is made up of non-uniform rectangle units and a rectangle ring slot is etched in the outer elements. Due to the non-uniformity of the MTS and the rectangle ring slot, the excited current of the MTS at high frequency is neutralized and two high-frequency radiation nulls are obtained. Hence, the filtering function of the antenna is achieved. In the simulation, the antenna shows a wide -10-dB impedance bandwidth of 40.8% and a good out-of-band radiation suppression level of more than 15 dB. Meanwhile, the antenna has a low prolife of 0.06 λ (at the center operating frequency) and a peak gain of 8 dBi.

An enhancing bandwidth tri-polarization reconfigurable antenna based on double C-shaped radiators is proposed. The antenna consists of a modified ground plane, double C-shaped radiators, and a feedline with a simple parasitic stub. The modified ground plane and the parasitic stub can improve the impedance matching, meanwhile, adjust the axial ratio performance. Two PIN diodes are embedded between the C-shaped radiator and the feedline. Three polarization reconfigurable modes can be achieved caused by switching two PIN diodes state, linear polarization (LP), left-hand circular polarization (LHCP), and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP). As the simulated results show, the -10-dB impedance bandwidth reaches 126.6% (1.76-7.83 GHz) in LP mode and 78.4% (2.96-6.78 GHz) in CP modes. And the proposed antenna has a 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 84% (2.6-6.4 GHz) in two CP modes. Therefore, the proposed antenna can meet the requirement of the modern wireless and satellite communication system. © 2022 IEEE.

A wideband tri-polarization reconfigurable metasurface (MTS) antenna with a filtering function is presented in this article. The proposed antenna consists of two layers, which are the coupled aperture layer and MTS layer. The antenna is excited by a microstrip printed on the bottom of the aperture layer, and the ground plane is fabricated on the top. A reconfigured coupled aperture achieved polarization diversity is etched on the ground plane. Additionally, the complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) is loaded on the ground plane and introduced a low-frequency radiated null. Six sets of PIN diodes are inserted on the microstrip and the reconfigured coupled aperture. By controlling the PIN diodes, polarization diversity is obtained, including linear polarization (LP), right-hand circular polarization (RHCP), and left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) modes. Besides, the MTS is manufactured on the top of the MTS layer. A high-frequency radiated null is realized by the non-uniform MTS. Thus, a polarization diversity with filtering performance antenna based on non-uniform is proposed. The simulated results show the antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth (IMBW) of 41.4% and 45.6% for LP and CP modes, respectively. While the antenna is operated in CP modes, an overlapped 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth reaches 16.2% for both CP modes. Meanwhile, the out-of-band radiation suppression level is more than 14.6 dB and 17 dB for LP and CP modes.

This treatise proposes a new algorithm of encrypting images by combining Sine map with generalized Arnold transformation. The algorithm adds a shift transformation link to the common permutation-diffusion structure. Firstly,the plain-image is permutated in pixel positions by using the generalized Arnold transformation. Secondly,the permutated image is diffused by using the Sine map. Then,the diffused image is performed through the shifting process,which can avoid multiple encryption and shorten the encryption time. The results of analysis and experimental tests for the proposed algorithm have been given in detail,which showed that our new algorithm is highly secure. In conclusion,it has great application potential in Internet-based image secure communication.
