North Gulf is China’s important sea route to Asia and Europe, and the seabed is rich in resources. For various reasons, the detection and mapping of submarine terrain are blank. The traditional multi-beam measurement method has high accuracy but uneven spatial distribution. Although the detection line process has high sampling and measurement accuracy, there is a large blank area between adjacent routes, which is difficult to achieve full-scale large area measurement due to environmental, time and budget constraints. On the other hand, the accuracy of the remote sensing inversion depth method is not high, but it can achieve a wide range of coverage, which is characterized by low cost, short cycle and convenient dynamic monitoring. This paper takes North Gulf as the research area, uses remote sensing data to construct the seabed topography, uses multi-beam data for checksum correction and uses distributed computing technology to distribute big data in different computing nodes, and the data are refined and reconstructed in three dimensions to form a 3D seabed topography. The method improves the efficiency and accuracy of multi-beam data processing and can construct a large area, high-resolution submarine DEM and realize database management.

As there exist many redundant genes and inferior genes in single-cell RNA-seq data, we introduce information gain (IG) and fruit fly optimization algorithm (FOA) to select the superior genes and improve the cluster performance. In the proposed gene selection method IGFOA, IG and FOA are integrated first for gene selection. Experimental results performing on several single-cell RNA-seq datasets demonstrate that IGFOA can efficiently select the most relevant genes and obtain the better cluster performance.

BLOWN: A Blockchain Protocol for Single-Hop Wireless Networks under Adversarial SINR

Known as a distributed ledger technology (DLT), blockchain has attracted much attention due to its properties such as decentralization, security, immutability and transparency, and its potential of servicing as an infrastructure for various applications. Blockchain can empower wireless networks with identity management, data integrity, access control, and high-level security. However, previous studies on blockchain-enabled wireless networks mostly focus on proposing architectures or building systems with popular blockchain protocols. Nevertheless, such existing protocols have obvious shortcomings when adopted in wireless networks where nodes may have limited physical resources, may fall short of well-established reliable channels, or may suffer from variable bandwidths impacted by environments or jamming attacks. In this paper, we propose a novel consensus protocol named Proof-of-Channel (PoC) leveraging the natural properties of wireless communications, and develop a permissioned BLOWN protocol (BLOckchain protocol for Wireless Networks) for single-hop wireless networks under an adversarial SINR model. We formalize BLOWN with the universal composition framework and prove its security properties, namely persistence and liveness, as well as its strengths in countering against adversarial jamming, double-spending, and Sybil attacks, which are also demonstrated by extensive simulation studies. In this paper, we study the classes of approximate Minty and Stampacchia type vector variational inequalities along with their local and weak versions on a Hadamard manifold, and a class of nonsmooth interval-valued multiobjective optimization problems, respectively. We obtain the equivalence between the solutions of considered approximate vector variational inequalities and LU-efficient solutions of nonsmooth interval-valued multiobjective optimization problems in which the cost function is assumed to be geodesic approximately LU-convex or geodesic LU-α-convex. ©2023 Applied Set-Valued Analysis and optimization.

Identification and Significance of the Novel MDR Relevant Hub Genes in Drug-Resistant Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Current chemotherapeutic efficacy is limited by the fast acquisition of multidrug resistance (MDR) with high side effects. In this study, 66 MDR-relevant hub genes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) were identified by the combined analysis of differential expressed genes (DEGs), gene functional enrichment, Cox proportional regression, weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) and protein-protein interaction (PPI) network construction. The prognostic risk models were established via the LASSO-Cox regression analysis. Based on the comparison of gene mutation frequency, tumor mutation burden (TMB) and immune infiltration in the high and low-risk groups, the relationships between the MDR-relevant hub genes and immune regulation were explored. The competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks of MDR-relevant hub genes and relevant non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) were predicted and concluded to explore the potential mechanisms. Five MDR-relevant hub genes in drug-resistant HCC were finally confirmed, including ATP-binding cassette subfamily B member 6 (ABCB6), filamin C (FLNC), mutated in colorectal cancer (MCC), neuron navigator 3 (NAV3) and tripartite motif containing 9 (TRIM9). TRIM9 was identified as the most significant gene enhancing MDR, and its inhibition caused the IC50 of doxorubicin (DOX) decreased, and the intracellular uptake, retention and absorption of DOX increased significantly in HepG2/ADR cells. The results above may provide new insights into the mechanism of MDR development. With further exploration in future, the MDR-relevant hub genes, especially TRIM9 may be therapeutically targeted to improve the prognosis of drug-resistant HCC patients. © 2023, The Authors. In this present paper, we introduce and study a dynamical systems involving fractional derivative operator and nonlocal condition, which is constituted of a fractional evolution equation and a time-dependent variational inequality, and is named as fractional partial differential variational inequality (FPDVI, for short). wChain: A fast fault-tolerant blockchain protocol for multihop wireless networks

This paper presents wChain, a blockchain protocol specifically designed for multihop wireless networks that deeply integrates wireless communication properties and blockchain technologies under the realistic SINR model. We adopt a hierarchical spanner as the communication backbone to address medium contention and achieve fast data aggregation within O(log N log Γ) slots where N is the network size and Γ refers to the ratio of the maximum distance to the minimum distance between any two nodes. Besides, wChain employs data aggregation and reaggregation, and node recovery mechanisms to ensure efficiency, fault tolerance, persistence, and liveness. The worst-case runtime of wChain is upper bounded by O(f log N log Γ), where f = bN2 c is the upper bound of the number of faulty nodes. To validate our design, we conduct both theoretical analysis and simulation studies, and the results only demonstrate the nice properties of wChain, but also point to a vast new space for the exploration of blockchain protocols in wireless networks. An enhancing bandwidth tri-polarization reconfigurable antenna based on double C-shaped radiators is proposed. The antenna consists of a modified ground plane, double C-shaped radiators, and a feedline with a simple parasitic stub. The modified ground plane and the parasitic stub can improve the impedance matching, meanwhile, adjust the axial ratio performance. Two PIN diodes are embedded between the C-shaped radiator and the feedline. Three polarization reconfigurable modes can be achieved caused by switching two PIN diodes state, linear polarization (LP), left-hand circular polarization (LHCP), and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP). As the simulated results show, the −10-dB impedance bandwidth reaches 126.6% (1.76-7.83 GHz) in LP mode and 78.4% (2.96-6.78 GHz) in CP modes. And the proposed antenna has a 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 84% (2.6-6.4 GHz) in two CP modes. Therefore, the proposed antenna can meet the requirement of the modern wireless and satellite communication system.

In this paper we consider an abstract class of time-dependent quasi variational-hemivariational inequalities which involves history-dependent operators and a set of unilateral constraints. First, we establish the existence and uniqueness of solution by using a recent result for elliptic variational-hemivariational inequalities in reflexive Banach spaces combined with a fixed-point principle for history-dependent operators. Then, we apply the abstract result to show the unique weak solvability to a quasistatic viscoelastic frictional contact problem.
