This paper presented an adaptive gain scheduling algorithm for hypersonic vehicles with wide envelopes. First, the linear parameter variable parameter (LPV) model of hypersonic vehicles is established in the flight envelope. Then, the active disturbance rejection controller is considered to cope with disturbances and uncertainties, and the control gain is scheduled using the guardian maps method to adapt to the wide envelope of velocity and height. Finally, numerical simulation results show good control performance and meet the required performance indexes in all operating conditions, demonstrating the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

A temperature-dependent normalized Bouc-Wen model is proposed to describe the hysteresis and temperature characteristic of magneto-rheological (MR) damper. The MR damper is warmed up through long-term continuous experiments and the model parameters are identified using experimental data. The least-squares method and Genetic Algorithm (GA) are utilized to identify the parameters at different temperatures. Also, the relationship between parameters and temperature is established to describe the nonlinear temperature model of the MR damper. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

For mixed-ship scenarios, traditional aircraft have limited ability to extract ship features due to the constraints of observation angles, making it difficult to effectively select the high-value ship targets. In this paper, a ship length and width reconstruction method adaptable to multi-aircraft cooperative detection is proposed, taking dual-aircraft radar cooperative detection as the research object. Under the premise of known heading, a ship size reconstruction model is established by combining the radial size information from different observation directions. Finally, the performance of the model under different detection conditions is analyzed. Simulation verification shows that the maximum length reconstruction error does not exceed 7.56% of the true length of the target, which can effectively restore the target size information and provide necessary support for effectively solving the problem of the high-value ship targets selection in mixed scenes. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

To address the problems of poor generality and difficulty in obtaining opti-mal parameter combinations for existing surrogate models, this paper pro-poses a construction strategy for an adaptive Elliptic Basis Function neural network model based on particle swarm optimization (PSO-EBF). The K-means clustering algorithm is introduced in the EBF model to improve the efficiency and diversity of model construction. On this basis, the PSO algorithm is introduced to take the EBF model parameters: width coefficient, number of kernel functions, smoothing coefficient, etc. as design variables, and take the model determination coefficient R2 as the optimization objective, and automatically search for the optimal parameter combination of the model. The numerical experimental results show that the PSO-EBF model constructed in this paper can effectively improve the efficiency of surrogate model construction. Compared with ISight commercial software, the accuracy of the PSO-EBF model is higher than that of the traditional EBF model, which proves that this adaptive model can effectively solve the complexity and blindness of surrogate model construction process and improve the efficiency of model construction. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

The belt squeeze pressure and the impact force in the core part affect the motion attitude and velocity of the projectile in the bore, which are important factors affecting the initial disturbance, shooting accuracy and launching safety of the projectile. The movement of projectile in the chamber experiences the harsh environment of high temperature, high pressure and high overload, which makes it difficult to test the squeeze pressure of the projectile belt and the impact force of the central part. In this paper, a nonlinear finite element model of the movement of gun barrel and projectile bore is established, and the changes of the belt pressure and the impact force of the center part are simulated and analyzed. Based on PVDF piezoelectric film, the elastic belt pressure sensor and the collision force sensor of the center part were designed and developed. The sensitivity and other performance parameters of the sensor were obtained by dynamic calibration. The change process of the elastic belt pressure and the collision force of the center part was obtained by live firing test. The research in this paper has important reference value for the measurement of the motion in the bore of the projectile, the impact analysis of the launch safety and the shooting accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Spatio-temporal decision-making and trajectory planning framework with flexible constraints in closed-loop dynamic traffic

Driving in interactive dynamic traffic is a huge challenge for autonomous vehicles, especially for motion planning. The autonomous vehicle not only needs to predict the future states of the social vehicles to avoid a collision but also realizes the comfort and continuous plan. To deal with the problem, a spatio-temporal decision-making and motion planning framework with flexible constraints based on previous work is proposed. Improvements can be highlighted in three aspects. First, a neural network for trajectory prediction is trained and it is integrated into the framework, which can learn the social vehicles' reactions in the negotiation better and give more accurate predictions. Second, instead of setting the fixed local targets, the flexible-constraint mechanism is introduced to increase the success rate of continuous planning, specifically, the local planning target is determined conditioned on the situation with an elastic factor. Third, two popular simulators with randomly disposed traffic participants are exploited, where vehicles are mutually influenced, more similar to real-world traffic. The closed-loop tests with zero crashes and the comparative experiments with traditional models demonstrate the superior performance and practical significance of the proposed framework. © 2022 The Authors. Truck-Mounted Howitzer has outstanding advantages such as a high level of information technology, good tactical mobility, and strong comprehensive combat capabilities, playing an important role in modern warfare. Different road surfaces and vehicle speeds seriously affect the off-road performance of Truck-Mounted Howitzer. To study the dynamic characteristics of the Truck-Mounted Howitzer under different working conditions, this paper establishes a three-dimensional model and a driving dynamic model of the Truck-Mounted Howitzer. Dynamic simulation analysis is carried out using SOLIDWORKS Motion software to obtain the dynamic characteristics of typical parts of the vehicle body under different road surfaces and vehicle speeds, and its ride comfort is evaluated. The accuracy of the simulation results is verified through comparison with experimental data. When arriving at the airport,flight needs to be served by special *** at the dynamic time window scheduling problem of airport refueling vehicles,this paper establishes a vehicle routing problem model with time window to minimize the operating ***,a multi-strategy genetic algorithm is designed to gain the solve time window scheduling problem,which employs the crossover based on particle swarm optimization to accelerate the early search capability,and the local search method based on simulated annealing to increase the local optimization *** aiming at dynamically adjusting vehicle routes on the basis of static scheduling,a local replanning strategy based on a dynamic time window is introduced,which uses the original route matching and rescheduling *** results show that the multi-strategy hybrid algorithm can effectively reduce the number of routes and vehicles the airport *** different scales' dynamic changes of time windows,the algorithm could enable vehicles to still meet time constraints and effectively minimize the change of routes.
