Communication is an effective mechanism to coordinate the be-havior of mobile multi-agents. We propose a general multi-agent communication framework. With help of graph neural networks and reinforcement learning, this framework can provide a coop-erative detection method with more powerful capabilities. In this paper, we demonstrate the configurable co-detection simulation system. Moreover, the evaluation of the multi-agent communication framework validates that the agents can effectively cooperate with each other through decentralized communication, and effectively reduce computation overhead meanwhile with high scalability.

Effectively reconstructing 3D hyperspectral images (HSIs) from 2D measurements presents a significant challenge in Coded Aperture Snapshot Spectral Imaging (CASSI) systems. While recent transformers exhibit potential in HSI reconstruction, they often suffer from inadequate exploration of multi-scale spatial-spectral self-similarity, leading to mean effects and information loss. Additionally, these methods struggle with insufficient modeling of the degradation inherent in the compressive imaging process. To address these issues, we propose a novel Mask-guided Multi-scale Spatial-Spectral Transformer (MMSST). Specifically, we introduce a Degradation Aware Mask Attention (DAMA) module to incorporate degradation information of the compressive imaging process. Furthermore, MMSST leverages Local-Regional SpAtial attention (LRSA) and Global-Regional SpEctral attention (GRSE) to effectively exploit multi-scale self-similarity across spatial and spectral dimensions. Extensive experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our MMSST. © 2025 IEEE.

Regarding the mobile monitoring system in agricultural automation, the outer diameter monitoring of greenhouse vegetables has significant implications for accurately regulating fruit growth and cultivation plans. In this paper, a novel vision-based two-stage outer diameter detection method is proposed, including the segmentation and outer diameter calculation of greenhouse tomato images. To address the issues of multiple tomatoes in a single image and the similarity in color between tomatoes and the background, a YOLOv8 network embedded with convolutional block attention module is constructed for detection and segmentation in the first stage. Additionally, to solve the problem of inaccurate outer diameter detection caused by different tomato poses and pedicles, a defined central axis method is proposed, which can adaptively filter out the maximum outer diameter candidates and calculate accurate values utilizing depth information in the world coordinate system. The backbone network is fine-tuned on the pre-trained YOLOv8 model with 1000 tomato images. Extensive measurement experiments, involving 215 tomatoes in 80 images, is conducted to validate the effectiveness of our proposed approach. Compared to the ground truth, we obtain a measurement error of 4.27 mm, the coefficient of determination value R2 is 0.9349. © 2024 IEEE.

The widespread application of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has made the coverage path planning problem for multiple UAV systems a research hotspot. In this paper, we propose a multi-UAV solution to achieve complete coverage of multi-region. Based on this solution, we present an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm that combines PSO algorithm, greedy strategy, and back-and-forth (BAF) algorithm. Its purpose is to plan the optimal paths for multi-UAV while achieving the shortest total distance and the highest UAV cooperation efficiency with the minimum number of UAVs, thereby enhancing the multi-UAV coverage cooperation and path optimization capabilities. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and superiority of this algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Uncertainty-aware Superpoint Graph Transformer for Weakly Supervised 3D Semantic Segmentation

Weakly supervised 3D semantic segmentation has successfully mitigated the labor-intensive and time-consuming task of annotating 3D point clouds. However, reliably utilizing the minimal point-wise annotations for unlabeled data in complex and large-scale scenes is still challenging, such as only 20 points labeled in 2 million points. To tackle this challenge, we propose a new Uncertainty-aware Superpoint Graph Transformer (UaSGT) framework that utilizes minimal annotations for unlabeled data learning through reliable long-range supervision propagation from labeled superpoints to unlabeled superpoints. First, we propose a superpoint graph transformer to achieve long-range supervision propagation along the attention-based fuzzy subsets defined on superpoints. The attention-based fuzzy subset measures the membership of unlabeled superpoints to clusters centered on labeled superpoints. Second, we employ an uncertainty-aware membership rectification technique on the fuzzy subset to ensure reliable propagation among superpoints within the same category. This technique integrates an uncertainty prediction module to mask the influence of unreliable membership and a spatial prior refinement module to reduce uncertainty in intra-class membership degrees. Finally, experimental results on two large-scale benchmarks S3DIS and ScanNet-V2 demonstrate the superiority of our approach compared to the state-of-the-art with at least 90% annotation reduction, and our method also achieves comparable performance to fully supervised methods with less than 0.1% labeled points.
