Integrated Inspection of QoM, QoP, and QoS for AOI Industries in Metaverses

With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around "metaverse" is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. As the core of quality inspection,we propose Quality Transformers to complete detection task,while federated learning is integrated to regulate data *** summary, we point out the development directions of quality inspection under metaverse tide.

To achieve effective deployment of the facial expression recognition(FER) system on marginalized devices,we designed a lightweight neural network based on ShufflenetV2,which can balance the relationship between the number of network parameters and the accuracy of *** this paper,a non-parameter SimAM attention module that can extract 3 D features is employed in the ShufflenetV2 network to enhance the spatial features extraction ability of the network,and the shortcut branch is introduced in Bottleneck for information interaction and feature fusion between *** tests were carried out on the RaFD dataset,and the recognition accuracy reaches 98.04%,while the number of model parameters is only 1.4 M.

Learning Transferable Negative Prompts for Out-of-Distribution Detection

Existing prompt learning methods have shown certain capabilities in Out-of-Distribution (OOD) detection, but the lack of OOD images in the target dataset in their training can lead to mismatches between OOD images and In-Distribution (ID) categories, resulting in a high false positive rate. To address this issue, we introduce a novel OOD detection method, named ‘NegPrompt’, to learn a set of negative prompts, each representing a negative connotation of a given class label, for delineating the boundaries between ID and OOD images. It learns such negative prompts with ID data only, without any reliance on external outlier data. Further, current methods assume the availability of samples of all ID classes, rendering them ineffective in open-vocabulary learning scenarios where the inference stage can contain novel ID classes not present during training. In contrast, our learned negative prompts are transferable to novel class labels. Experiments on various ImageNet benchmarks show that NegPrompt surpasses state-of-the-art prompt-learning-based OOD detection methods and maintains a consistent lead in hard OOD detection in closed- and open-vocabulary classification scenarios. This paper takes the iron-making blast furnace in operation of a steel plant as the specific object,analyzes the erosion status and characteristics of different parts of the furnace hearth and bottom combined with iron-making process and erosion mechanism of the blast furnace,designs an intelligent monitoring system for erosion of the furnace hearth lining,visualizes the temperature measurement *** erosion calculation model is established by using the heat transfer mechanism to quickly solve the erosion boundary for the area with low erosion degree and rate,and performs a fast solution of the erosion *** areas with high erosion degree and rate,the particle swarm optimization algorithm is selected by using its adaptive *** solves the erosion boundary accurately from the rough solution of the mechanism model,and the residual thickness of furnace lining is output and displayed,which helps ironmakers optimize the blast furnace production operation,maintenance strategy,improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

In the smelting process of a blast furnace(BF),BF operations can regulate the permeability index(PI),but different operations affect the PI on different time *** at the problem that BF operations have multi-time-scale effects on the PI,this paper uses a multi-time scale method to analyze the influence of each operation on PI at different time ***,the influence of BF operations on the PI is analyzed through the ironmaking mechanism,and three mechanism chains of BF operations affecting the PI were *** this basis,the time scale of the mechanism chains is ***,a crosscorrelation analysis is used to calculate the time-delay relationship between each operation and the ***,the influence of different operation parameters on the PI is verified by real-world production data,and the multi-time scale characteristics of the influence of BF operations on the PI are proved.

Learning-Based Leader Localization for Underwater Vehicles With Optical-Acoustic-Pressure Sensor Fusion

Underwater vehicles have emerged as a critical technology for exploring and monitoring aquatic environments. The deployment of multi-vehicle systems has gained substantial interest due to their capability to perform collaborative tasks with improved efficiency. However, achieving precise localization of a leader underwater vehicle within a multi-vehicle configuration remains a significant challenge, particularly in dynamic and complex underwater conditions. To address this issue, this paper presents a novel tri-modal sensor fusion neural network approach that integrates optical, acoustic, and pressure sensors to localize the leader vehicle. The proposed method leverages the unique strengths of each sensor modality to improve localization accuracy and robustness. Specifically, optical sensors provide high-resolution imaging for precise relative positioning, acoustic sensors enable long-range detection and ranging, and pressure sensors offer environmental context awareness. The fusion of these sensor modalities is implemented using a deep learning architecture designed to extract and combine complementary features from raw sensor data. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through a custom-designed testing platform. Extensive data collection and experimental evaluations demonstrate that the tri-modal approach significantly improves the accuracy and robustness of leader localization, outperforming both single-modal and dual-modal methods.
