Secure output synchronization of heterogeneous multi-agent systems against false data injection attacks

This paper studies secure output synchronization for heterogeneous multi-agent systems against false data injection(FDI) attacks. Both the sensors and actuators of agents may be injected into FDI *** mitigate the malicious impact of these attacks on synchronization performance, a desired reference model,which is combined with an auxiliary system, is first designed for each agent to simulate its normal system dynamics. Then, based on this reference model, a state feedback cooperative controller and a static output feedback cooperative controller, which consist of adaptive compensators, are proposed, respectively. The integrated control protocols can ensure that the output synchronization error is small by adjusting some designed parameters even in the presence of FDI attacks. An illustrative example is employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

CoSDH: Communication-Efficient Collaborative Perception via Supply-Demand Awareness and Intermediate-Late Hybridization

Multi-agent collaborative perception enhances perceptual capabilities by utilizing information from multiple agents and is considered a fundamental solution to the problem of weak single-vehicle perception in autonomous driving. However, existing collaborative perception methods face a dilemma between communication efficiency and perception accuracy. To address this issue, we propose a novel communication-efficient collaborative perception framework based on supply-demand awareness and intermediate-late hybridization, dubbed as CoSDH. By modeling the supply-demand relationship between agents, the framework refines the selection of collaboration regions, reducing unnecessary communication cost while maintaining accuracy. In addition, we innovatively introduce the intermediate-late hybrid collaboration mode, where late-stage collaboration compensates for the performance degradation in collaborative perception under low communication bandwidth. Extensive experiments on multiple datasets, including both simulated and real-world scenarios, demonstrate that CoSDH achieves state-of-the-art detection accuracy and optimal bandwidth tradeoffs, delivering superior detection precision under real communication bandwidths, thus proving its effectiveness and practical applicability. To alleviate the secondary contamination of our environment when using quantum dots(QDs) to detect the organophosphorothioate pesticides(OPPs),we herein report a strategy to assemble magnetic Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles and luminescent Cd Te quantum dots(QDs) into a composite nanosystem,which possesses both the magnetic property of Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles and the luminescent character of Cd Te QDs,for the detection of chlorpyrifos,one of the typical *** strategy involves the isolated synthesis of magnetic Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles with positive charges and luminescent Cd Te QDs with negative charges,and their subsequent assembly by electrostatic *** as-prepared Fe_(3)O_(4)-Cd Te nanocomposites have a detection limit as low as 10 ppb for chlorpyrifos,and are also selective for the OPPs with a phosphorothioate moiety(P=S bond).In specific,the Fe_(3)O_(4)-Cd Te nanocomposites can be conveniently harvested by a normal magnet,and the recycling rate for both Cd and Fe determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES) is higher than 96%,showing great potential in alleviating the Cd pollution on the environment.

Sodium(Na)O_(2)batteries have high energy density and low ***,high polarization,complex discharge products,and low Coulombic efficiency(CE)lead to poor ***,we proposed an atomically dispersed Ru catalyst on nitrogen-doped graphene for Na-O_(2)*** catalysts enable the discharge to proceed via a surface-mediated route,which leads to uniform deposition of Na_(2-x)O_(2)and low polarization during *** first-principle calculation revealed that Ru-N_(4)complex in the catalyst has strong chemical adsorption to intermediate superoxides,facilitating uniform deposition and enhancing rapid *** contrast,Ru nanoparticles,despite the catalytic activity,induce bulk deposition via a solution-mediated route because the exposed graphene surface shows weak interaction to superoxides,thereby lowering CEs and *** brief,the atomically-dispersed Ru catalyst endows Na-O_(2)batteries with excellent electrochemical properties via a surface-mediated discharge.

Towards Training-free Anomaly Detection with Vision and Language Foundation Models

Anomaly detection is valuable for real-world applications, such as industrial quality inspection. However, most approaches focus on detecting local structural anomalies while neglecting compositional anomalies incorporating logical constraints. In this paper, we introduce LogSAD, a novel multi-modal framework that requires no training for both Logical and Structural Anomaly Detection. First, we propose a match-of-thought architecture that employs advanced large multi-modal models (i.e. GPT-4V) to generate matching proposals, formulating interests and compositional rules of thought for anomaly detection. Second, we elaborate on multi-granularity anomaly detection, consisting of patch tokens, sets of interests, and composition matching with vision and language foundation models. Subsequently, we present a calibration module to align anomaly scores from different detectors, followed by integration strategies for the final decision. Consequently, our approach addresses both logical and structural anomaly detection within a unified framework and achieves state-of-the-art results without the need for training, even when compared to supervised approaches, highlighting its robustness and effectiveness. Scaling laws of velocity gradient moments of attached eddies

Townsend's attached-eddy model (AEM) is one of the most widely used models in explaining and predicting the logarithmic region of wall turbulence. Townsend pioneered the postulate that wall-attached eddies exhibit self-similar velocity distributions. This premise has led to the derivation of velocity variance scalings in the logarithmic region. In particular, the attached eddies have been extracted at moderate scales and have been illustrated to contain the most kinetic energies in the logarithmic region. In the present contribution, we derive analytically the scalings of the moments of velocity gradients of attached eddies by using the AEM. The direct numerical simulation data with the moderate-scale extraction of attached eddies show good agreement with the derived scalings. Moreover, the contributions of different-scale structures to the moments of velocity gradients are compared, showing that the wall scalings of all-scale velocity gradients are interestingly half of moderate-scale attached eddies. This also indicates the non-negligible influence of the small-scale eddies on the velocity gradients in the logarithmic region. In addition, there are departures in the moments of velocity Hessian, inspiring future improvement in the extraction method of attached eddies.

Training-free open-vocabulary semantic segmentation aims to explore the potential of frozen vision-language models (VLM) for segmentation tasks. Recent works reform the inference process of CLIP and utilize the features from the final layer to reconstruct dense representations for segmentation, demonstrating promising performance. However, the final layer tends to prioritize global components over local representations, leading to suboptimal robustness and effectiveness of existing methods. In this paper, we propose CLIPSeg, a novel training-free framework that fully exploits the diverse knowledge across layers in CLIP for dense predictions. Our study unveils two key discoveries: Firstly, the features in the middle layers exhibit high locality awareness and feature coherence compared to the final layer, based on which we propose the coherence enhanced residual attention module that generates semantic-aware attention. Secondly, despite not being directly aligned with the text, the deep layers capture valid local semantics that complement those in the final layer. Leveraging this insight, we introduce the deep semantic integration module to boost the patch semantics in the final block. Experiments conducted on 9 segmentation benchmarks with various CLIP models demonstrate that CLIPSeg consistently outperforms all training-free methods by substantial margins, e.g., a 7.8% improvement in average mIoU for CLIP with a ViT-L backbone, and competes with learning-based counterparts in generalizing to novel concepts in an efficient way. This paper studies the classification problem of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks and proposes a comprehensive periodic feature extraction method based on sliding window division. A new data processing approach is proposed. Considering the characteristics of APT attacks, the life cycle of APT traffic data is divided into three stages. The traffic data from each stage is sampled in a piecewise manner and divided into separate training and testing sets, and then the training and testing subsets are merged. For the integrated sets, a sliding window-based partition approach is employed to obtain training and testing window samples, while extracting features from each individual sample. Then, this paper proposes a differential-based periodic feature extraction methodology to capture the dynamic information present in APT traffic and integrate it with fundamental static features, thereby forming effective comprehensive features. After combining these static and differential features, a comprehensive foundation is established for model training. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified using decision tree model, and its superiority is demonstrated by comparing it with traditional partition methods based on data streams.
