Psychological resistance can express the change of the client's psychological state, which is considered to be an important factor affecting psychological counseling. This paper proposed a method of psychological resistance recognition based on acoustic features extraction. The method includes three main steps, i.e., statistical acoustic feature extraction, feature selection, and classification. Our method uses statistical acoustic features to express psychological resistance, and analyzes the application value of high correlation features obtained from feature selection in the recognition of different psychological resistance. This method can be used to determine the high correlation features of psychological resistance adaptively, and avoid the deficiency of subjective judgment. A speech database of psychological resistance is built for research needs, in which three psychological consultants and four subjects are involved in psychological counseling with 1200 sentences in speech. The experimental results verified the effectiveness of our method. © 2021 IEEE

The anti-sway issue with crane systems is discussed in this essay. Because cranes are undriveable and nonlinear, implementing anti-sway controllers becomes much more challenging. This work suggests a crane anti-sway controller that uses feedback linearization(FL) in conjunction with the Equivalent-Input-Disturbance (EID) technique to address the issues. to reduce the problem that the feedback linearization largely relies on the model's accuracy. The crane system is first treated as a linear system, after which the unmodeled disturbances, nonlinear components, and external disturbances of the system are treated as the total disturbances of the system, and the effects of these disturbances are then compensated for using disturbance estimation. Finally, simulation experiments confirm that the maximum steady-state fluctuations of the position and angle of the anti-sway controller based on the equivalent input disturbance method and the feedback linearization method are 14 and 6.85 percent, respectively, of those estimated without disturbances. This demonstrates the potency of this approach.

Microwave filters are the core frequency selection device in 5G base station, which play an important role in the field of communication. The errors of design and processing of microwave filter make it difficult to meet the specific requirements of frequency selection, thus the tuning process before delivery is significant. However, the tuning process relies heavily on skilled workers, resulting in low tuning efficiency and high cost. The automatic tuning method based on fuzzy logic does not depend on the model and has strong applicability. It has great practical value to the production trend of multi-variety, small batch and customization of microwave filters. In this paper, a variable universe adaptive fuzzy tuning method is proposed. First, intelligent optimal contraction-expansion factors based on fuzzy inference are proposed according to expert knowledge. Then, the input universe and output universe are multiplied, and the initial rule is transformed into more effective new rules through the transformation which is adaptive to the variable universe. Last, the effectiveness of the proposed tuning method is verified by simulations. © 2021 IEEE

This paper investigates the finite-time state estimation problem for a class of discrete-time nonlinear singularly perturbed complex networks under a new dynamic event-triggered mechanism (DETM). This new DETM is devised to adjust the date packet transmissions flexibly with hope to save network resources. By constructing a new Lyapunov function dependent on the information of the singular perturbation parameter (SPP) and DETM, a sufficient condition is derived which ensures that the error dynamics of state estimation is finite-time stable. The parameters of the state estimator are given by means of the solutions to several matrix inequalities and the upper bound of the SPP can be evaluated simultaneously. The effectiveness of the designed state estimator is demonstrated by a numerical example. © 2021 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Well deviation Measurement of While-Drilling(MWD) refers to the real-time measurement of well deviation and azimuth While-Drilling is the key for navigation in automatic drilling, real-time detection of drilling direction and automatic drilling control. In this paper, we solve the problem that the accelerometer could not accurately measure gravity because of the high-speed rotation caused by the eccentric installation of INS (Inertial Navigation System) and the acceleration of vibration line in the real-time measurement of borehole deviation and azimuth angle while drilling. Firstly, the dynamic physical model of accelerometer and gyroscope under eccentric installation is built, the non-gravity error of accelerometer measurement under eccentric motion is analyzed, and the algorithm optimization is made. Secondly, a calibration scheme for the compensation coefficients of centrifugal and tangential forces is given, which enables the carrier to make eccentric pure rotational motion on the rotating platform to determine the compensation calibration coefficient matrix. Finally, the first-order complementary filter algorithm is used to fuse the gyroscope angular velocity with the corrected acceleration for attitude calculation, and the algorithm is experimented. In this study, MPU6050 is selected as the chip of INS, and the attitude algorithm is realized by STM32. The experimental results show that the high dynamic error of the accelerometer measurement caused by eccentric motion is effectively reduced by the algorithm compensation. © 2021 IEEE

As the largest class of small non-coding RNAs, piRNAs primarily present in the reproductive cells of mammals, which influence post-transcriptional processes of mRNAs in multiple ways. Effective methods for predicting piRNA and mRNA target relationships can help identify piRNA functions, investigate the possibility of piRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutic targets. In this study, we propose a computational approach for classifying the relationships of piRNA-mRNA pairs based on an interactive inference network (IIN). First, we gather piRNA-mRNA target data, collect sequence data by position alignment, and construct a benchmark dataset. Furthermore, a reliable negative set is constructed by positive-unlabeled learning. Finally, we view a piRNA and a mRNA sequence as a premise and hypothesis sentence, respectively, and IIN model is used to predict the relationship between them. The experiments demonstrate that our method effectively characterizes piRNA-mRNA interaction and could be beneficial for researchers to investigate piRNA functions.

Ethiopian Airlines’ Boeing 737-8 MAX nosedived and crashed shortly after takeoff on March 10, 2019, at Ejere Town, south of Addis Ababa. A faulty angle of attack (AOA) sensor was the cause of the crash. Many airplane accidents have been linked to faulty AOA sensors in the past. The majority of the AOA sensor fault detection, isolation, and accommodation (SFDIA) literature relied on linear model-driven techniques, which are not suitable when the system’s model is uncertain, complex, or nonlinear. Traditional multilayer perceptron (MLP) models have been employed in data-driven models in the literature and the effectiveness of deep learning-based data-driven models has not been investigated. In this work, a data collection and processing method that ensures the collected data is not monotonous and a data-driven model for AOA SFDIA is proposed. The proposed model uses a deep learning-based recurrent neural network (RNN) to accommodate for faulty AOA measurement under flight conditions with faulty AOA measurement, faulty total velocity measurement, and faulty pitch rate measurement. Conventional residual analysis with a fixed threshold is used to detect and isolate faulty AOA sensors. The proposed and benchmark models are trained with the adaptive momentum estimation (Adam) algorithm. We show that the proposed model effectively detects, isolates, and accommodates faulty AOA measurements when compared to other data-driven benchmark models. The method is able to detect and isolate faulty AOA sensors with a detection delay of 0.5 seconds for ramp failure and 0.1 seconds for step failure.

Reliable fault diagnosis is of practical significance for process safety in modern industrial facilities. This article proposes a data-driven fault diagnosis method based on multi-feature fusion and broad learning. The contributions are twofold: First, a systematic multi-feature extraction approach is presented to extract long-term trend features, short-term trend features, and binary-valued alarm signals;second, a broad learning system based fault diagnosis method is proposed to diagnose faults based on multi-feature fusion and to update the diagnosis model in an incremental manner. The proposed method has a strong nonlinear modeling capability and can also update the diagnosis model incrementally when unseen fault types are detected. The efficacy of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulations with the benchmark Tennessee Eastman (TE) process. © 2021 IEEE.

In recent years,cooperative coverage control of multi-agent system(MAS)has attracted plenty of researchers in various fields[1,2].Different from multi-agent consensus or synchronization,multi-agent coverage control cares about how to coordinate a team of agents for effectively monitoring or covering a given terrain,which inevitably gives rise to the interaction between individual dynamics and external ***,environmental uncertainties that include static uncertainties and dynamic uncertainties and limited sensing capabilities of a single agent make it a great challenge to design control algorithms of MAS for achieving the desired coverage performance.

Robust Imagined Speech Production Using AI-Generated Content Network for Patients with Language Impairments

Imagined speech production is critical for brain-computer interface systems. It is able to provide the communication ability for patients with language impairments. Nowadays, many studies have developed algorithms for this purpose. However, they often struggle with an issue that is the noise in physiological signals from various devices. This makes current methods have low robustness when performing speech generation. To this end, we propose a framework to robustly producing imagined speech for patients with language impairments. It is based on artificial intelligent-generated content (AIGC). In specific, this work develops a diffusion model to remove noise from brain signals, which are then converted and normalized into log-mel spectrograms. Next, the product feeds into a transformer-based model to extract local and global features. Finally, these enhanced features are inputted into full connected layers to generate the imagined speech. The effectiveness of our model is validated using the high-quality, i.e., single-word-production-Dutch-iBIDS dataset. It achieves Pearson correlation scores above 0.8 and standard deviations below 0.2 across different volunteers. Experimental results well demonstrate that our model is robust and has advantages over peer methods. © 2024 IEEE.
