Reliable fault diagnosis is of practical significance for process safety in modern industrial facilities. This article proposes a data-driven fault diagnosis method based on multi-feature fusion and broad learning. The contributions are twofold: First, a systematic multi-feature extraction approach is presented to extract long-term trend features, short-term trend features, and binary-valued alarm signals;second, a broad learning system based fault diagnosis method is proposed to diagnose faults based on multi-feature fusion and to update the diagnosis model in an incremental manner. The proposed method has a strong nonlinear modeling capability and can also update the diagnosis model incrementally when unseen fault types are detected. The efficacy of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulations with the benchmark Tennessee Eastman (TE) process. © 2021 IEEE.

In recent years,cooperative coverage control of multi-agent system(MAS)has attracted plenty of researchers in various fields[1,2].Different from multi-agent consensus or synchronization,multi-agent coverage control cares about how to coordinate a team of agents for effectively monitoring or covering a given terrain,which inevitably gives rise to the interaction between individual dynamics and external ***,environmental uncertainties that include static uncertainties and dynamic uncertainties and limited sensing capabilities of a single agent make it a great challenge to design control algorithms of MAS for achieving the desired coverage performance.

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) based Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) has the problem of learning bias towards stronger emotions while giving less weight to relatively faint emotions. This lack of subtleness causes the misclassification of emotions that have similar arousal such as anger and joy. To solve this problem, a novel speaker-independent SER methods consist of CNN with non-local networks and attention-based Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) is proposed. The non-local networks can capture the dependence between any two points globally to enhance the correlation of emotional features at the utterance level. The extracted tri-channel Log-Mel spectrograms features include the raw of Log-Mel spectrums, the Log-Mel spectrums' deltas and delta-deltas respectively. Finally long-term contextual dependencies, local information and non-local information which is obtained by non-local networks is contained in the extracted feature. It was tested on the Interactive Emotional Dyadic Motion Capture Database (IEMOCAP) dataset. The experimental results show that the WAR of SER is 66.85% and the UAR of SER is 61.01%. Compared with several newly proposed SER methods, the effectiveness of the proposed model is demonstrated. © 2021 IEEE

Differentiable Neural Architecture Search (DARTS) recently attracts a lot of research attention because of its high efficiency. However, the competition of candidate operations in DARTS introduces high uncertainty for selecting the truly important operation, thus leading to serious performance collapse. In this work, we decrease the uncertainty of differentiable architecture search (DU-DARTS) by enforcing the distribution of architecture parameters to approach the one-hot categorical distribution and by replacing the zero operation with a gate switch. Without any extra search cost, our method achieves state-of-the-art performance with 2.32%, 16.74%, and 24.1% test error on CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100, and ImageNet datasets, respectively. Moreover, DU-DARTS can robustly find an excellent architecture on NAS-Bench-1Shot1 and NAS-Bench-201, which further demonstrates the effectiveness of our method. Analysis of OODA Loop based on Adversarial for complex Game Environments

To address the problem of imperfect confrontation strategy caused by the lack of information of game environment in the simulation of non-complete information dynamic countermeasure modeling for intelligent game, the hierarchical analysis game strategy of confrontation model based on OODA ring (Observation, Orientation, Decision, Action) theory is proposed. At the same time, taking into account the trend of unmanned future warfare, NetLogo software simulation is used to construct a dynamic derivation of the confrontation between two tanks. In the validation process, the OODA loop theory is used to describe the operation process of the complex system between red and blue sides, and the four-step cycle of observation, judgment, decision and execution is carried out according to the number of armor of both sides, and then the OODA loop system adjusts the judgment and decision time coefficients for the next confrontation cycle according to the results of the first cycle. Compared with traditional simulation methods that consider objective factors such as loss rate and support rate, the OODA-loop-based hierarchical game analysis can analyze the confrontation situation more comprehensively. © 2022, CC BY.

Sample generation is an effective way to solve the problem of the insufficiency of training data for hyperspectral image classification. The generative adversarial network（GAN） is one of the popular deep learning methods, which utilizes adversarial training to generate the region of samples based on the required class label. In this paper, we propose cascade conditional generative adversarial nets for hyperspectral image complete spatial-spectral sample generation, named C;GAN. The C;GAN includes two stages. The stageone model consists of the spatial information generation with a window size that entails feeding random noise and the required class label. The second stage is the spatial-spectral information generation that generates spectral information of all bands in the spatial region by feeding the label regions. The visualization and verification of generated samples based on the Pavia University and Salinas datasets show superior performance, which demonstrates that our method is useful for hyperspectral image classification.

GaRField++: Reinforced Gaussian Radiance Fields for Large-Scale 3D Scene Reconstruction

This paper proposes a novel framework for large-scale scene reconstruction based on 3D Gaussian splatting (3DGS) and aims to address the scalability and accuracy challenges faced by existing methods. For tackling the scalability issue, we split the large scene into multiple cells, and the candidate point-cloud and camera views of each cell are correlated through a visibility-based camera selection and a progressive point-cloud extension. To reinforce the rendering quality, three highlighted improvements are made in comparison with vanilla 3DGS, which are a strategy of the ray-Gaussian intersection and the novel Gaussians density control for learning efficiency, an appearance decoupling module based on ConvKAN network to solve uneven lighting conditions in large-scale scenes, and a refined final loss with the color loss, the depth distortion loss, and the normal consistency loss. Finally, the seamless stitching procedure is executed to merge the individual Gaussian radiance field for novel view synthesis across different cells. Evaluation of Mill19, Urban3D, and MatrixCity datasets shows that our method consistently generates more high-fidelity rendering results than state-of-the-art methods of large-scale scene reconstruction. With the development of radar technology, frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar has been used for non-contact vital signs detection. In order to suppress the environmental noise and interference of breathing harmonics on heartbeat signal, this paper proposes a new vital sign detection method based on scale-space representation (SSR) and empirical wavelet transform (EWT) for the FMCW radar. First, a low-pass filter is set for the high-frequency noise elimination outside the frequency range of vital sign signals. Second, SSR is used to adaptively segment the spectrum of signals to obtain the initial frequency boundaries, and the kurtosis of the spectrum is applied to segment the spectrum again and obtain the final frequency boundaries to further eliminate noise. Third, the empirical wavelet filter bank is constructed by using the determined boundaries and EWT is used to decompose the signals to several components. Finally, according to the frequency ranges of components and the correlation between the components and vital sign signals, the components are selected to reconstruct the breathing and heartbeat signals. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves a better detection performance than the classical EWT and empirical mode decomposition (EMD).

Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) have emerged as a promising technology in wireless communications. Simultaneously transmitting and reflecting RIS (STAR-RISs) in particular have garnered significant attention due to their dual capabilities of simultaneous transmission and reflection, underscoring their potential applications in critical scenarios within the forthcoming sixth-generation (6G) technology landscape. Moreover, full-duplex (FD) systems have emerged as a breakthrough research direction in wireless transmission technology due to their high spectral efficiency. This article explores the application potential of STAR-RIS in FD systems for future wireless communications, presenting an innovative technology that provides robust self-interference cancellation (SIC) capabilities for FD systems. We utilize the refraction functionality of STAR-RIS enhances the transmission capacity of FD systems, while its reflection functionality is used to eliminate self interference within the FD system. We delve into the applications of two different types of STAR-RIS in FD systems and compare their performance through simulations. Furthermore, we discuss the performance differences of STAR-RIS empowered FD systems under various configurations in a case study, and demonstrate the superiority of the proposed deep learning-based optimization algorithm. Finally, we discuss possible future research directions for STAR-RIS empowered FD systems.

In recent years, deep neural network has continuously improved the performance of remote sensing image classification. Though The deep neural network model is powerful, it is difficult to deploy on resource-constrained hardware platforms such as mobile terminal devices and embedded devices due to the large number of network parameters. In this paper, a novel lightweight network (LW-Net) model and a network pruning method are used for remote sensing image classification. This LW-Net model adopts a net block unit to obtain more characteristic graphs with less computational complexity. The proposed network pruning method uses the sparsity regularization on the influence factor in BN layer to automatically identified and pruned unimportant channels to make the model structure simpler. Experimental results demonstrate compared with traditional deep neural networks, the proposed model with the network pruning method can greatly reduce the computational complexity and model parameters with a little accuracy loss.
