How faithfully can π be interpreted in SA?

The π calculus and the safe ambient calculus are two of the widely studied variants of process calculi in the field of concurrency *** former is the most classic model for mobile processes and the latter is well known for its nested ***,the relationship between these two models deserves further *** this paper,we reinvestigate this problem *** first give the strengthened encoding *** we propose the encoding of the synchronous π-calculus into the safe ambients *** encoding scheme is a generalization and improvement of Levi and Sangiorgi’s work when moving from the asynchronous π-calculus to the synchronous π-*** show the merits of the encoding by checking the mentioned criteria.

It is a challenging task to reconstruct images from compressed sensing measurement due to its implicit ill-posed property. In this paper, we propose an image reconstruction algorithm for compressed sensing image application based on the adaptive dictionary, which is learned from the reconstructed image itself. The sparsity level is enhanced since the sparse coding of overlapping image patches takes into account the local image features, and accordingly the quality of the reconstructed image is improved. In addition, linearization technique is also exploited to remove the computation of matrix inversion. Numerical experiments are conducted on several test images with a variety of sampling ratios. The results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm can efficiently reconstruct images from compressed sensing measurements and achieve more than 3dB gain averagely over the current state-of-art compressed sensing reconstruction algorithms. To reduce pre-bond and post-bond test cost for 3D IP (Three Dimensional Intellectual Property) cores, this paper proposed a test wrapper optimization technique using BFD(Best Fit Decreasing) and GA (Genetic Algorithm) algorithm under the constraints of TSVs(Through Silicon Vias) number, the proposed technique firstly used BFD to balance the length of pre-bond wrapper chains to reduce pre-bond test time. Then, on the basis of optimization results of pre-bond wrapper chains, the GA was used to stitch pre-bond wrapper chains to form balanced post-bond wrapper chains under the constrained TSVs number to reduce hardware overhead and post-bond test time. Experimental results demonstrated the presented methodology can effectively reduce hardware overhead at the cost of little increased test time.

High blood pressure is a highly heritable and modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease. We report the largest genetic association study of blood pressure traits (systolic, diastolic and pulse pressure) to date in over 1 million people of European ancestry. We identify 535 novel blood pressure loci that not only offer new biological insights into blood pressure regulation but also highlight shared genetic architecture between blood pressure and lifestyle exposures. Our findings identify new biological pathways for blood pressure regulation with potential for improved cardiovascular disease prevention in the future.

Both disturbance rejection and human-like motions, like toe-off and heel-strike, are important for a biped robot to enhance its performance. However, the required motions for them may influence each other, which is why few studies consider them simultaneously. This paper presents a method to realize stable walking with toe-off and heel-strike even when the robot experiences disturbances. We propose a walking controller which can constrain the desired ground reaction force. On the one hand, the controller can adjust the torso acceleration to make the supporting leg compliant with the external disturbances on the torso. On the other hand, it can rotate the supporting foot by adjusting the ZMP to an appropriate location. The linear inverted pendulum is utilized to generate the CoM trajectory and the foot placement. Meanwhile, its ZMP can be predefined as required so that the toe-off and heel-strike can be achieved by the controller. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulations.

In the context of process calculi, higher order π calculus （A calculus） is prominent and popular due to its ability to transfer processes. Motivated by the attempt to study the process theory in an integrated way, we give a system study of A calculus with respect to the model independent framework. We show the coincidence of the context bisimulation to the absolute equality. We also build a subbisimilarity relation from A calculus to the π calculus.

The high resolution and widescreen mobile devices have tremendous applications in our daily lives. In this paper, we demonstrate a specific bi-screen video sharing application called WeWatch that a high resolution video is played across screens of two mobile devices. It helps users to enhance their watching experience on the Android system. In order to efficiently use idle mobile devices, we develop a novel algorithm to share videos with devices with different screen sizes and resolutions. Our research provides a method which automatically controls videos based on different distances between devices. The distance is determined by the empirical WiFi RSSI values obtained through the experimental studies. We have prototyped the system and conducted a real-world energy efficiency and user experience evaluations. Results show that WeWatch has negligible impact on battery lifetime while over 80% users like our application.

Real-time bidding（RTB）advertising is a fast-growing business model in online display advertising *** the guaranteed display advertising,it utilizes programmatic instantaneous auction to price and sell ad inventory on a per-impression *** enbales advertisers to target audiences at demographic,psychographic or behavioral levels across a wide range of *** RTB markets,information about target audiences is usually disclosed to advertisers,while information about publishers（*** ranking,advertising page）are typically not avaliable for advertisers,especially in real-time *** leads to a serious information asymmetry problem in RTB markets,which has significant influence on both advertisers’bidding strategies and publishers’*** this paper,we study the information disclosure strategies of publishers in case when the disclosure may incur an extra *** address this information asymmetry problem by first formulating the RTB auction as an second-price sealed-bid game,then discussing equilibrium information disclosure strategies for publishers and also investigating advertisers’bidding strategies in the three information disclosure cases:all disclosed,non-disclosed,and partially *** find that non-disclosed and partially disclosed strategies may lead to an adverse selection effect,and high-quality publishers will be forced to quit the RTB markets.

Budget optimization is an important issue faced by advertisers in search auctions,and has significant impact on the design of various advertising *** a limited budget on a search market during a certain period,an advertiser has to distribute her budget to a series of sequential temporal slots(i.e.,days,weeks,or months),during which advertisers must avoid the budget being used up quickly,so as to keep the budget for potential clicks with better performance in the *** the optimal budgets over these temporal slots as fuzzy variables,we establish a two-stage fuzzy budget allocation model,and use particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm to solve it in case when these optimal budgets are characterized by discrete fuzzy *** also conduct experiments to validate our model and *** experimental results show that our model can outperform other five budget allocation strategies in terms of reducing the revenue loss of the advertiser.
