For research on conceptual design of the complex product, it is necessary that a reliable theory is found to decide if the design structure is suit for custom requirement. The correlation matrixes among requirements, functions and structures are proposed. A block diagonal matrix of correlation matrix between functions and structures is given. The mathematical models of multi-object optimization structure design are provided, and then calculated by the hybrid genetic algorithm. An example for solar energy automobile is given to show that this method is able to realize optimization structure design fitting for the requirements. In addition, the approaches can provide good Pareto optimization solutions.

Measurement based quantum computation, which requires only single particle measurements on a universal resource state to achieve the full power of quantum computing, has been recognized as one of the most promising models for the physical realization of quantum computers. Despite considerable progress in the past decade, it remains a great challenge to search for new universal resource states with naturally occurring Hamiltonians and to better understand the entanglement structure of these kinds of states. Here we show that most of the resource states currently known can be reduced to the cluster state, the first known universal resource state, via adaptive local measurements at a constant cost. This new quantum state reduction scheme provides simpler proofs of universality of resource states and opens up plenty of space to the search of new resource states.

Linguistic dynamic systems (LDS) are the systems based on computing with words (CW) instead of computing with numbers or symbols. In this paper, LDS are divided into two types: type-I LDS being converted from conventional dynamical systems (CDS) by using extension principle and type-II LDS by using fuzzy logic rules. For type-I LDS, the method of endograph is provided to discuss the stabilities of type-I LDS and two cases of stabilities of logistic mappings: one is the states being abstracted and the other is parameters also being abstracted. For type-Ⅱ LDS, the method of degree of match is used to discuss the dynamical behavior of arbitrary initial words under fuzzy rule.

Scientific and accurate transportation volume prediction for freight corridor is one of the essential works of transport network planning, which masters the corridor's development, trend, characteristic, raw and quantity. The traditional prediction method of freight volume includes exponential smoothing model, regression Prediction, GM (1, 1) model and combined model. This paper explores the procedures and characteristics of these models. And the GM (1,1) model and cubic exponential smoothing model are used to predict the Shuozhou-Huanghua railway freight volume. In this paper, we present a visual system to drive an autonomous small-scale helicopter to track a ground target. The vision system is monocular, and the on-board camera is fixed. Since the time-varying attitude of helicopter can bring trouble to vision algorithm design, we developed an attitude compensation algorithm. The real flight experiments show that the vision system can perform in real-time, and track a ground target successfully.

The network file system (NFS) protocol, as the de facto standard for sharing files in a distributed environment, has deployed Infiniband as the underlying transport of sunRPC, namely NFS over RDMA. In the current Read-Write design of NFS over RDMA, NFS write performance is limited for not fully utilizing the features of Infiniband. In this paper, we take on the challenge of enhancing the write performance of NFS. We propose and evaluate a new design of sunRPC over RDMA, namely Write-Write design. To guarantee the security of our design, we propose an HCA-based memory protection extension of Infiniband. Evaluations show that our Write-Write design increases the kernel-to-kernel RPC bandwidth by 15~27%. In real disk test, our Write-Write design gains 15%~22% in multi-client benchmarks compared with the Read-Write design.

Nowadays enterprise information and knowledge systems provide technical platforms for the integration and collaboration of business processes among multi-organizations of enterprises. However, software systems supporting enterprise business processes are hard to be adapted and deployed to satisfy the ever-changing requirements of enterprises. In this paper we put forward an adaptable enterprise information system framework in which we use four levels of abstractions. At the meta-meta model level, the ontology schema is used which provides the specification language for other more specific levels. At the meta-model level, the extended OSM model is used, and the generic elements obtained from analyzing the commonality of requirements are included. At the model level, the commonalities of sub-domains, such as the patterns of tasks in a specific domain are analyzed and generalized for future reuse. The intermediate specifications of the business processes and work flows are used in this level. At the application level, specific elements and requirements of the applications will be added and customized via the tools developed at the abstracted levels. A case study of knowledge management system based on this four level abstraction is discussed.

In this paper, we use EEG signals to classify two emotions-happiness and sadness. These emotions are evoked by showing subjects pictures of smile and cry facial expressions. We propose a frequency band searching method to choose an optimal band into which the recorded EEG signal is filtered. We use common spatial patterns (CSP) and linear-SVM to classify these two emotions. To investigate the time resolution of classification, we explore two kinds of trials with lengths of 3s and 1s. Classification accuracies of 93.5% plusmn 6.7% and 93.0%plusmn6.2% are achieved on 10 subjects for 3s-trials and 1s-trials, respectively. Our experimental results indicate that the gamma band (roughly 30-100 Hz) is suitable for EEG-based emotion classification.

The acquisition of requirements assets are important in software product line (SPL) engineering for it help enhancing the effectiveness of reuse. Traditional methods are heavily based on manual effort. This appears to be a barrier for many organizations which tend to launch a SPL. In this paper, we propose an approach to extract functional requirements by analyzing text-based software requirements specifications (SRSs). We analyze the linguistic characterization of SRSs. According to it we define extended functional requirements framework (EFRF) which consists of 10 semantic cases, then we generate converting rules. We introduce an NLP (natural language process) approach to build EFRFs from documents based on the concept of EFRF and the converting rules. The extracted EFRFs are suitable for expression and modeling of functional requirements variability. We apply our method to an auto-marker software product line. The result shows the approach has high accuracy and efficiency, and the approach is readily scalable and extensible.
