Extraction of relations among entities from texts is critical for domain knowledge representation. In this paper, an association graph was constructed to represent the dependencies among entities and relations, upon which a relation extraction method was proposed to predict the relations in domain texts. Experimental results on various annotated domain datasets demonstrate that the recall of our proposed method outperforms the other relation extraction models.

Accurately finding and predicting dynamics based on the observational data with noise perturbations is of paramount significance but still a major challenge presently. Here, for the Hamiltonian mechanics, we propose the Hamiltonian neural Koopman operator (HNKO), integrating the knowledge of mathematical physics in learning the Koopman operator, and making it automatically sustain and even discover the conservation laws. We demonstrate the outperformance of the HNKO and its extension using a number of representative physical systems even with hundreds or thousands of freedoms. Our results suggest that feeding the prior knowledge of the underlying system and the mathematical theory appropriately to the learning framework can reinforce the capability of machine learning in solving physical problems.

Grid-forming inverter is widely used in grid-connected systems of distributed generation because of its frequency and voltage support capacity and good stability in microgrid, but its large inertia will affect the dynamic response speed of grid-forming inverter. In order to solve this problem, this paper introduces the loop that affects the dynamic response of grid-forming inverter, and carries out small signal modeling for active loop, analyzes the dynamic performance indicators and determinants of typical second-order system. Thus, a method of adding power feedforward coefficient to the forward channel of the power loop is designed, and the response speed of the system with or without feedforward coefficient under the unit step response is compared. Finally, the simulation results show that adding the power feedforward coefficient can improve the response speed of the grid-forming inverter during startup and power switching, then achieves the effect of fast control. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

This paper is concerned with H performance analysis of aperiodic sampled-data systems by employing the input delay ***,a novel augmented looped-functional（ALF） is presented under the double-side looped-functional technique,which considers coupled relationships among state vectors more fully than the current ***,by using the BesselLegendre inequality to estimate the derivative of the ALF,a stability criterion is derived in the form of linear matrix ***,a numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness and the advantages of the proposed criterion by comparing it with the existing ones.

As a representative topic in natural language processing and automated theorem proving, geometry problem solving requires an abstract problem understanding and symbolic reasoning. A major challenge here is to find a feasible reasoning sequence that is consistent with given axioms and the theorems already proved. Most recent methods have exploited neural network-based techniques to automatically discover eligible solving steps. Such a kind of methods, however, is greatly impacted by the expert solutions for training. To improve the accuracy, this paper proposes a new method called counterfactual evolutionary reasoning, which uses a generative adversarial network to generate initial reasoning sequences and then introduces counterfactual reasoning to explore potential solutions. By directly exploring theorem candidates rather than the neural network selection, the new method can sufficiently extend the searching space to get a more appropriate reasoning step. Through comparative experiments on the recent proposed Geometry3k, the largest geometry problem solving dataset, our method generally achieves a higher accuracy than most previous methods, bringing an overall improvement about 4.4% compared with the transformer models.

Surface defect detection of sanitary ceramic products is an important part of the production *** deep learning method is the mainstream research direction in the field of defect *** there are many small defects on the surface of sanitary ceramic products,it is an effective means to use a high-resolution camera to obtain *** detection speed of high-resolution pictures and the interference of background are the difficult problems in ***,this paper designs a two-scale detection framework to detect and locate defects of sanitary ceramics utilizing high-resolution *** two-scale detection framework speeds up the detection of high-resolution images and weakens the interference of the background by dividing the defect detection task into two parts,a workpiece region recognition task on large scale and a defect detection task on small *** experiments show that the two-scale detection method has a better detection speed and accuracy rate compared with the single-scale method,which proves the superiority of the proposed method.

This paper proposes an output-feedback based prescribed performance consensus tracking control methodology for a class of heterogeneous multi-agent systems (HMASs) with inconsistent system structure, where the performance behavior is allowed to be different from that of each other. Both the heterogeneous system structures and the nonidentical performance requirements make the control problem much more challenging than that of MASs with identical structure and performance requirement. This is mainly due to the coupling effect of the system dynamics and performance restriction of each agent in the cooperative control action. The key to solve this problem is to introduce a dual-phase performance-guaranteed method, in which the consensus tracking error is decomposed into auxiliary tracking error and filter tracking error and then the whole performance control is decomposed into two phases. By confining the two errors respectively, the practical tracking error can be proved to be explicitly confined within an arbitrarily given performance envelope by merely adjusting the design parameters rather than modifying control structure. Moreover, the prescribed performance control (PPC) result is not only uniform with any initial conditions and design parameters, allowing it to be global, but also unifying both the global and semi-global result into one frame, distinguishing itself from most existing PPC works where either only global or only semi-global result is guaranteed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is confirmed by the simulation conducted on a group of tunnel-diode circuits (TDC). © 2025 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.. Studies have shown that learning personal stories could help provide individualized eldercare services. However, personal stories are often disordered because of the scattered collection, including informal interviews or daily interactions, which brings difficulties in acquiring valuable information quickly. One solution to this problem is to extract events from personal stories and automatically organize them in chronological order. Events extracted by current methods from social media or news corpus are mainly organized in a linear structure. These works usually focus on the event time and ignore the consistency of event contents when organizing events. This paper aims to organize events into a tree structure based on an event network, with stem nodes representing key event topics and branch nodes representing detailed events. Social workers or caregivers can clarify the life experience of the older adults quickly through the event tree and have a preliminary understanding of them. The experiments show that the event tree generated by our method has a better performance in consistency than current event organization methods. A survey study shows that our method achieves the highest logical coherence for the event tree branches compared with other algorithms. © 2022, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In this paper, we propose a 3D memristive chaotic circuit, in which both its dynamical behaviors and the preassigned-time stability are analyzed. First, we design a chaotic circuit utilizing the KNOWM memristor model, and confirm the presence of chaos through phase portrait. Subsequently, we develop a switching controller, which successfully achieves the preassigned-time stability of the memristive chaotic circuit. Ultimately, the validity of our theoretical findings is substantiated through rigorous numerical simulations.

Cyber-physical social systems (CPSS) include cyberspace, physical space, and social space. Since the introduction of CPSS, human relationships with machinery and the physical world have altered as a new paradigm. Recent estimates indicate that approximately 60 percent of the world's population will live in cities by 2030. Large, dense cities can be highly productive, innovative, and very green per capita, hence ideal for our future. However, the huge influx of new people poses enormous challenges to their administrations. Smart cities are becoming a reality, therefore, to achieve higher efficiency, optimum use of resources, management and to strengthen several features of modern towns, several elements of modern cities are automated and integrated into Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Cities and infrastructure are growing all over the world, in providing end-users with increased performance, comfort, visibility and convenience, the Smart Cities concept is critical. This paper will discuss smart cities and the CPSS concept intensively with some of its key technologies, challenges, and further development by using CPSS. © 2021 IEEE.
