In this paper,a non-fragile joint state and fault estimation problem is investigated for time-varying complex networks with switching topology and randomly occurring nonlinearities under the missing *** phenomena of the switching topology,randomly occurring nonlinearities and missing measurements are described by three mutually independent Bernoulli random variables,where the uncertain occurrence probabilities are *** addition,the parameter perturbations of the estimator gain matrix are characterized by a set of zero-mean multiplicative noises.A novel time-varying estimation method is designed and an upper bound of estimation error covariance matrix is obtained by solving two recursive matrix ***,the desired estimator gain matrix is parameterized by minimizing the trace of the obtained upper ***,a sufficient condition is given to ensure the boundedness of the upper bound matrix by using the mathematical induction ***,a simulation study is given to verify the feasibility of the proposed estimation scheme.

To improve the accuracy in the detection of diabetes-type diagnosis using Random Forest Algorithm and Support Vector Method. A dataset on diabetes was collected on ***. Support vector method analysis was performed on the data using kernel as linear, poly, and rbf with random state = 42 and test size = 0.2. The Random Forest Algorithm with n_estimators = 100 has the same accuracy as the support vector method with the kernel as rbf. When it comes to type diagnosis for a patient having diabetes, the Random Forest Algorithm and Support Vector Method with kernel rbf can be used, unlike another kernel of the Support Vector Method. Thermal-aware routing protocols in WBANs consider temperature factors in the routing process for preventing overheating of the tissues surrounding the sensor ***,providing an energy-efficient and thermal-aware routing in WBANs is a challenging *** deal with this problem,this article presents a novel temperature-aware routing protocol that applies Mamdani-based Fuzzy Logic Controllers(FLCs)for selecting the next forwarding node in routing data *** FLCs apply five important input factors such as the priority of the packet,and sensor node's remaining energy,temperature,distance,and link path ***,a new hybrid version of the Marine Predator Algorithm(MPA),named MPAOA is presented by combining the exploration and exploitation phases of the MPA and Arithmetic optimization Algorithm(AOA).This algorithm is effectively applied for selecting the best possible set of fuzzy rules for FLCs and tuning their fuzzy *** experiments conducted in the Castalia simulator exhibit that the proposed temperature and priority-aware routing scheme can outperform other well-known routing schemes such as LATOR,TTRP,TAEO,ATAR,and EOCC-TARA in terms of metrics such as sensor nodes lifetime,the average temperature of the sensor nodes,and the percentage of the packets routed through non-overheated ***,it is shown that the MPAOA outperforms other algorithms such as Bat Algorithm(BA),Genetic Algorithm(GA),AOA,and MPA regarding the specified metrics.

A generlized Logistic model with nonlinear delayed harvest controlling is considered. The conditions for the stability and local Hopf bifurcation of the equilibrium point are obtained. Numerical examples show that our control strategy can not only control the Hopf bifurcation of the system, but also control the stability switches phenomenon. These are all very useful for the survival of the population.

To provide teaching assistance to secondary school mathematics teachers in ethnic areas and improve the teaching effectiveness of mathematics courses, a hybrid teaching model based on deep learning algorithms is proposed. Convolutional neural networks and joint probability matrix decomposition are fused to design teaching resource recommendation methods, and hybrid teaching is carried out according to three stages: before, during, and after class. The overall mean of the questionnaire for the experimental class improved from 2.39 to 3.01, and the pass rate, merit rate, and mean score of mathematics scores increased by 13.79%, 9.02%, and 15.17 points, respectively. This method enables educational technology to be effective in mathematics curriculum and improve the quality and information of mathematics education in ethnic areas. © 2023 Shifang Xu and Chunyan Pan, published by Sciendo.

In this article, we study the formation problem for a group of mobile agents in a plane, in which the agents are required to maintain a distribution pattern, as well as to rotate around or remain static relative to a static/moving target. The prescribed distribution pattern is a class of general formations where the distances between neighboring agents or the distances between each agent and the target do not need to be equal. Each agent is modeled as a double integrator and can merely perceive the relative information of the target and its neighbors, and the acceleration of the target. In order to solve the formation problem, a limit-cycle-based controller design is delivered. We divide the overall control objective into two subobjectives, where the first is target circling that each agent keeps its own desired distance to the static/moving target as well as rotating around or remaining static relative to the target as expected, and the second is distribution adjustment that each agent maintains the desired distance to its neighbors. Then, we propose a controller comprised of two parts, where a limit cycle oscillator named a converging part is designed to deal with the first subobjective, while a layout part is introduced to address the second subobjective. One key merit of the controller is that it can be implemented by each agent in its local frame so that only local information is utilized without knowing global information. Theoretical analysis of the convergence to the desired formation, of which the agents are required to be evenly distributed on a circle around the target, is provided for the multiagent system under the proposed controller. Numerical simulations are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed controller for the cases of general formations, and to show that no collision between agents ever takes place throughout the system's evolution. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

In this paper, we study two-player evolutionary prisoner's dilemma on regular graphs and identify the stochastically stable equilibria for infinite populations. We consider four different update rules: Birth-death(BD), death-birth(DB), imitation(IM) and pairwise comparison(PC). With the same values of cost and benefit of cooperation, we show that there is a unique stochastically stable equilibrium for evolutionary prisoner's dilemma on regular graphs. If the benefit-to-cost ratio is larger than k + 2 (k is the degree of a regular graph), the networked game has a higher fraction of cooperators than that for a well-mixed population. Under certain conditions, the lower graph connectivity can lead to the emergence of more cooperators. Besides theoretical analysis, we demonstrate our results through numerical computations and simulations as well. © 2018 IEEE.

The ℋ ∞ consensus control problem is handled for a class of discrete time-varying multi-agent systems with round-robin protocol and missing measurements. The round-robin protocol is considered, which allows only one agent can send its measurement data at each transmission step in order to prevent the data collisions. And the missing measurements phenomenon is described by a sequence of Bernoulli distributed random variables with known probabilities. We focus on designing the controller parameters to guarantee that the closed-loop multi-agent systems with missing measurements satisfy the ℋ ∞ consensus performance. On this basis, some sufficient and necessary conditions are obtained by solving coupled backward recursive Riccati difference equations, where the existence and feasibility of the control scheme can be obtained with the help of the completing squares method and the stochastic analysis technique. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed controller design scheme.
