This paper studies the application of the Agent technology in the public traffic system. By definition of the structure and characteristics of the Agent, the communication type and language that used in Agent to Agent and Agent to environment, the Artificial Public Transportation System(APTS) model based on the Agent is proposed and the system is developed on the computer. The consistence of the artificial system and the real system in the part of macro-function and macro-behavior is tested via a simple computational experiment.

We study quantum transport in a general graphene system subject to external potential, a situation that can be expected in all kinds of future graphene-based electronic devices with quantum dots and quantum point contacts. We find that electrons tend to take on propagating paths due to Klein tunneling that have absolutely no counterpart in nonrelativistic quantum systems. Strikingly, such abnormal quantum paths can lead to an extreme type of fractal-like of conductance fluctuations, not seen previously in any quantum transport systems. This phenomenon has profound implications to the development of graphene based devices that require stable electronic properties.

An increasing number of supercomputers adopt a heterogeneous architecture, consisting of both general purpose CPUs and specialized accelerators. Such design is beneficial for scalability and power, but on the other hand, heterogeneity brings new challenges in communication systems to connect heterogeneous components and provide support for programming. The communication system of the Dawning 6000 connectstwo kinds of heterogeneous processors, Loongson and AMD, and adopts a three layer architecture with an intranode layer between heterogeneous components. To efficiently connect heterogeneous components, the system forms a global address space and provides a mechanism for message transmission via an in-node global store; and employing Infiniband network, provides an OS-bypassing virtualization method to share an Infiniband card between nodes. To facilitate programming on heterogeneous processors, it supports unified parallel C (UPC), with a modified complier based on global address space. Also, aspecial collective network is implemented for collective operations. Results obtained from a prototype system prove these features to be both feasible and efficient.

This paper introduces the concept of hierarchical-control-based output synchronization of coexisting attractor networks. Within the new framework, each dynamic node is made passive at first utilizing intra-control around its own arena. Then each dynamic node is viewed as one agent, and on account of that, the solution of output synchronization of coexisting attractor networks is transformed into a multi-agent consensus problem, which is made possible by virtue of local interaction between individual neighbours; this distributed working way of coordination is coined as inter-control, which is only specified by the topological structure of the network. Provided that the network is connected and balanced, the output synchronization would come true naturally via synergy between intra and inter-control actions, where the rightness is proved theoretically via convex composite Lyapunov functions. For completeness, several illustrative examples are presented to further elucidate the novelty and efficacy of the proposed scheme.

Most researches of traffic incident auto-detection are based on the data from fixed detectors, which are limited by costs and position. In order to resolve this problem, existing algorithms of traffic incident automatic detection are analyzed and compared, and an algorithm of traffic incident auto-detection are provided based on mobile-detection technology. The traffic data are grouped in 5-min intervals, analyzed by a three-layer BP neural network, and utilized for traffic incident detection. 16 traffic incidents of different locations and different levels are modeled in the simulation experiment based on VISSIM, and detection rate, false alarm rate and average detection time are adopted as indicators to evaluate the algorithm. Finally, the algorithm is proved to be effective and applicable in practice.
