Magnetic resonance imaging has been widely applied in clinical diagnosis, however, is limited by its long data acquisition time. Although imaging can be accelerated by sparse sampling and parallel imaging, achieving promising reconstruction images with a fast reconstruction speed remains a challenge. Recently, deep learning approaches have attracted a lot of attention for its encouraging reconstruction results but without a proper interpretability. In this letter, to enable high-quality image reconstruction for the parallel magnetic resonance imaging, we design the network structure from the perspective of sparse iterative reconstruction and enhance it with the residual structure. The experimental results of a public knee dataset show that compared with the optimization-based method and the latest deep learning parallel imaging methods, the proposed network has less error in reconstruction and is more stable under different acceleration factors. Motion segmentation in moving camera videos is a very challenging task because of the motion dependence between the camera and moving objects. Camera motion compensation is recognized as an effective approach. However, existing work depends on prior-knowledge on the camera motion and scene structure for model selection. This is not always available in practice. Moreover, the image plane motion suffers from depth variations, which leads to depth-dependent motion segmentation in 3D scenes. To solve these problems, this paper develops a prior-free dependent motion segmentation algorithm by introducing a modified Helmholtz-Hodge decomposition （HHD） based object-motion oriented map （OOM）. By decomposing the image motion （optical flow） into a curl-free and a divergence-free component, all kinds of camera-induced image motions can be represented by these two components in an invariant way. HHD identifies the camera-induced image motion as one segment irrespective of depth variations with the help of OOM. To segment object motions from the scene, we deploy a novel spatio-temporal constrained quadtree labeling. Extensive experimental results on benchmarks demonstrate that our method improves the performance of the state-of-the-art by 10%-20% even over challenging scenes with complex background.

Quasi-periodic pulsations (QPP) are usually found in the light curves of solar and stellar flares, they carry the features of time characteristics and plasma emission of the flaring core, and could be used to diagnose the coronas of the Sun and remote stars. In this study, we combined the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) on board the Solar Dynamics Observatory and the Nobeyama Radioheliograph (NoRH) to observe an M7.7 class flare occurred at active region 11520 on 19 July 2012. A QPP was detected both in the AIA 131 Å bandpass and the NoRH 17 GHz channel, it had a period of about four minutes. In the spatial distribution of Fourier power, we found that this QPP originated from a compact source and that it overlapped with the X-ray source above the loop top. The plasma emission intensities in the AIA 131 Å bandpass were highly correlated within this region. The source region is further segmented into stripes that oscillated with distinctive phases. Evidence in this event suggests that this QPP was likely to be generated by intermittent energy injection into the reconnection region. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With the rise of online shopping, massive product information continues to emerge, and it becomes a challenge for users to select their favorite things accurately from millions of products. The collaborative filtering algorithm which is widely used could effectively recommend product to users. However, collaborative filtering algorithm only analyzes the relationship between product and user’s evaluation without the analysis of comments. The content contains a lot of useful information and implicates user’s pass judgment about product, so collaborative filtering algorithm with no content analysis would reduce the accuracy of the recommendation results. In this paper, we propose a recommendation algorithm based on the content sentiment analysis and the proposed algorithm improves the performance of the traditional product recommendation algorithm based on collaborative filtering. Experimental results demonstrate that the accuracy of the proposed recommendation algorithm based on sentiment analysis is slightly higher than the recommendation algorithm based on collaborative filtering. © 2018, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

We present a complete theory for laser cooling of a macroscopic radio-frequency LC electrical circuit by means of an optoelectromechanical system, consisting of an optical cavity dispersively coupled to a nanomechanical oscillator, which is in turn capacitively coupled to the LC circuit of interest. The driven optical cavity cools the mechanical resonator which in turn sympathetically cools the LC circuit. We determine the optimal parameter regime where the LC resonator can be cooled down to its quantum ground state, which requires a large optomechanical cooperativity, and a larger electromechanical cooperativity. Moreover, comparable optomechanical and electromechanical coupling rates are preferable for reaching the quantum ground state. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Multiscale quantum harmonic oscillator algorithm (MQHOA) is an optimization algorithm based on quantum behavior. It transforms the function optimization into solving the ground state wave function through the transformation of SchrÖdinger equation and utilizes the processes of energy level stabilization, energy level transition and scale adjustment to search the optimal solution of the objective function. Original MQHOA algorithm accelerates the search process by replacing the worst solution with the mean value in the process of energy level transition. This operation may reduce diversity and lead to prematurity. In order to improve the population diversity of the probes, special elite strategy and random replacement mechanism are used to improve the search efficiency. Experiments on benchmark test functions show that the improved algorithm is more effective than the original algorithm and other common algorithms. © 2018 IEEE.

Recent advances in the field of network embedding have shown that low-dimensional network representation is playing a critical role in network analysis. Most existing network embedding methods encode the local proximity of a node, such as the first- and second-order proximities. While being efficient, these methods are short of leveraging the global structural information between nodes distant from each other. In addition, most existing methods learn embeddings on one single fixed network, and thus cannot be generalized to unseen nodes or networks without retraining. In this paper we present SPINE, a method that can jointly capture the local proximity and proximities at any distance, while being inductive to efficiently deal with unseen nodes or networks. Extensive experimental results on benchmark datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed framework over the state of the art. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A method for retrieval of the volume density index of forest canopy using Freeman decomposition is derived for coniferous forest. Volume scattering component, double-bounce scattering component and surface scattering component corresponding to three main scattering mechanisms of forest vegetation are obtained by Freeman decomposition. According to the volume scattering component correlated quite well with ground truth forest canopy's volume density, relationship function between the volume scattering component and the volume density index is established, and an empirical model of inversion forest canopy volume density index is obtained. Simulation results show the volume scattering component plays a dominant role in the scattering mechanism of forest canopy, and the forest canopy volume density index inversion error is less than 5% with these parameters, which indicating that the method can effectively monitor the density change of coniferous forest canopy.
