Ionicioiu and Spiller [Phys. Rev. A 85, 062313 (2012)] have recently presented an axiomatic framework for mapping graphs to quantum states of a suitable physical system. Based on their study, we first extend the axiomatic framework to hypergraphs by means of modifying its axioms and consistency conditions. Then we use the axiomatic approach to encode hypergraphs into a different family of quantum states, called the hypergraph states. Moreover, we also try to do the following: (i) show that real equally weighted states, which occur in Grover and Deutsch-Jozsa algorithms, are equivalent to hypergraph states; (ii) describe the relations among hypergraph states, graph states, and stabilizer states; (iii) provide some transformation rules, stated in purely hypergraph theoretical terms, which completely characterize the evolution of hypergraph states under some local operations, including operators in the Pauli group and some special local Pauli measurements; and (iv) investigate some properties of multipartite entanglement of hypergraph states by hypergraph theory.

Kruszynska and Kraus [Phys. Rev. A 79, 052304 (2009)] have recently introduced the so-called locally maximally entangleable (LME) states of n qubits which can be maximally entangled with local auxiliary qubits using controlled operations. We characterize the local entangleability of hypergraph states and W states using the approach of Kruszynska and Kraus. We show that (i) all hypergraph states are LME; (ii) hypergraph states and LME states are not equivalent under local unitaries; (iii) a W state of n qubits is not LME; and (iv) no hypergraph state of n qubits can be converted into the W state under local unitary transformations. Moreover, we also present an approach for encoding weighted hypergraphs into LME states.

Many works have been done in the methods of the perception measurements for speech sound. However, most of them are subjective measurement alone for perception aspects. In this paper, we try to give a new method of objective perception measurement for Chinese initials and investigate the relationship between the acoustic features and the perception measurement. To do so, we discuss which acoustic features and their combinations are the most consistent with the real perception of Chinese initials. We propose a method to obtain an objective perception measure based on the acoustic features, where the acoustic distance has a monotonic relation with the perceptual distance for Chinese initials. The Spearman's rank correlation coefficient is enhanced from 0.6328 to 0.6498 by adding the time-domain features to the feature vector of each initial. Finally, we propose a new formula to measure the perceptual distance between different types of initials objectively by using the chosen acoustic features.

In order to solve the efficiency problem about the data-intensive query join in cloud computing environment, a Shrink-Semis Join for Cloud Computing(SSJFCC) method for data-intensive was proposed. This paper firstly analyzed and compared the bottlenecks of existing query join algorithm in the cloud computing environment. Secondly, aiming to shrink semi-results data from join process, five algorithms of SSJFCC method were designed. Finally, the improvement method had been implemented based on Hadoop framework. Experiments show that this method significantly reduced the network transmission data quantity and join computing time-consuming, and improved the data-intensive query efficiency.

PAC-Bayes bound provides a formal framework for deducing the tightest risk bounds of the classifiers. After formulating the concept space as a Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space (RKHS), the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling algorithm for simulating posterior distributions of the concept space can realize the calculation of PAC-Bayes bound. A major issue is the computational complexity in geometric growth when the dimension of concept space increases. In this paper, we store a portion of the sampling data and calculate its variance, after which the variance minimization method is proposed to investigate the support vectors. Finally, we optimize the support vectors coupled with their weight vectors, and compare the PAC-Bayes bounds. The experimental results of our artificial data sets in low-dimensional spaces show that the optimization is reasonable and effective in practice.
