Multi-modal entity alignment aims to integrate equivalent entities in diverse multi-modal knowledge graphs. However, previous studies have primarily focused on multi-modal fusion methods without considering the impact of graph structure heterogeneity on entity alignment tasks due to the distinct structural features of different knowledge graphs. Moreover, the multi-modal information that enriches entity representations, including image, textual content, and numerical attributes, frequently incorporates noise due to modal discrepancies. To tackle these challenges, we introduce the Graph Structural Prefix Injection transformer (GSIEA) for multi-modal entity alignment. This novel approach minimizes structural heterogeneity’s impact and optimizes structural data utilization by integrating a structural prefix inject interaction module within the multi-head attention mechanism. Then, we adopt a convolutional enhancement module to extract local features of multi-modal information and complete feature fusion by cross-modal weights. Extensive experiments on two datasets demonstrate that GSIEA outperforms previous baseline models, showcasing an average performance improvement of 3.26% on MRR, with a maximum enhancement of 12.5%. Additionally, the average performance improvement on Hits@1 is 4.96%, with a maximum enhancement of 16.92%. Our code is available at https://***/HubuKG/GSIEA. © 2024, The Authors. In the past few years, text detection approaches have been able to cope with more and more challenging complex scenes. In this field, the arbitrary shape and various scale of text instances are the two most frequently mentioned topics. Among the existing methods, the bounding box prediction methods based on Intersection over Union (IoU) are efficient, but can only handle multi-oriented rectangles. Although arbitrary shape text detection methods have been proposed, these methods are often aimed at curved text. Besides, the post-processing is usually cumbersome. Considering that the affine transformation phenomenon caused by out-plane rotation is more frequent than curved text in real scenario, we design a quadrangle IoU (QIoU) loss to efficiently predict arbitrary convex quadrangle text. Furthermore, we analyze the challenge of variable scale in text detection from the perspective of unbalanced supervision information, and propose a cross-scale knowledge distillation (CSKD) method to improve the detection accuracy of large-scale text. An extensive ablation study demonstrates the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed strategies. During inferring, our method does not consume extra time. Using the basic feature pyramid network for feature extraction, our method achieves state-of-the-art results on several popular datasets for scene text detection.

Label Distribution Learning with Correlation Information

Label distribution learning quantifies the label space for each instance and has widely applicability in different fields. However, most existing works primarily focus on label correlation, but they still have a limitation in capturing instance correlation. Meanwhile, traditional label distribution learning operates on individual labels sequentially, leading to limitation in applying common features. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel approach for label distribution learning with correlation information i.e. instance correlation and label correlation. Specifically, the instance correlation and label correlation are identified by an optimization function and Pearson correlation coefficient, respectively. Besides, we conduct $\ell_{2,1}-$norm regularization to exploit common features. Comprehensive experiments manifest the superiority of our proposed approach against other well-established label distribution learning algorithms. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The zenith tropospheric delay（ZTD） obtained by global navigation satellite system（GNSS） atmospheric sounding is a pivotal data source for water vapor monitoring. Meteorological changes in Antarctica play an important role in analysis of the global climate, but factors such as complex climatic conditions can limit the collection of meteorological data needed for ZTD retrieval. Therefore, it is necessary to establish high-precision ZTD models that do not rely on measured meteorological data. The existing global pressure and temperature 3（GPT3） model has limited ability to capture complex weather variations and cannot obtain high-precision GPT3TD. To address the above issues, this research proposes a high-precision ZTD model through using temporal convolutional network（TCN） for improving the hourly global pressure and temperature 2（HGPT2） model. The HGTP2 model based on Fourier analysis and the time-segmentation concept can consider the linear trend of climate variations, simultaneously the TCN is introduced to simulate the long-term temporal dependence of HGPT2TD, so as to achieve the goal of obtaining high-precision ZTD without relying on measured meteorological data. The experimental results show that the precision of TCNTD obtained from the proposed model is higher than GPT3TD and HGPT2TD when using the GNSSTD observations obtained from 35 stations in Antarctica as a reference, and the improvement of the model is obvious.

Network-aware cascade size prediction aims to predict the final reposted number of user-generated information via modeling the propagation process in social networks. Estimating the user's reposting probability by social influence, namely state activation plays an important role in the information diffusion process. Therefore, Graph Neural Networks (GNN), which can simulate the information interaction between nodes, has been proved as an effective scheme to handle this prediction task. However, existing studies including GNN-based models usually neglect a vital factor of user's preference which influences the state activation deeply. To that end, we propose a novel framework to promote cascade size prediction by enhancing the user preference modeling according to three stages, i.e., preference topics generation, preference shift modeling, and social influence activation. Our end-to-end method makes the user activating process of information diffusion more adaptive and accurate. Extensive experiments on two large-scale real-world datasets have clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposed model compared to state-of-the-art baselines. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. There is a growing interest to use Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) inversed PWV for heavy rainfall prediction. When heavy rainfall occurs, it requires the atmosphere to contain sufficient water vapour and undergo strong upward motion. However, existing models using GNSS-PWV for heavy rainfall prediction have not accounted for the effect of the complex motion of water vapour. In this paper, an hourly heavy rainfall prediction model using sample entropy derived from GNSS-PWV and PSO-SVM is *** sample entropy of GNSS-PWV is used to measure the complexity of the water vapour movement process before heavy rainfall occurs. Meanwhile,combining GNSS-PWV time domain features(PWV value, PWV increment,PWV decrement, rate of PWV increment, rate of PWV decrement) and colocated meteorological data, the occurrence of hourly heavy rainfall events is predicted by support vector machine optimized with particle swarm. To verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed algorithm, Hong Kong’s HKSC station in Sham Shui Po is used for the model to train and test. The result shows that probability of detection, false alarm rate and critical success index of the proposed algorithm in this paper have significantly improved over other heavy rainfall prediction models.

Deep Global Distance Estimation Hashing for Image Retrieval

Hashing technology has an excellent high dimensional visual information encoding ability. It can map distance information from high dimensional to low dimensional Hamming space, which is widely used in large-scale image nearest neighbor search tasks. Most recent studies, such as pair-wise and triplet-wise, use local positional relations to construct hashing functions. These learning methods, which are only based on local information, will lead to an incoherent feature representation, especially for semantic similarity features. Therefore, we propose a global distance estimation hashing (DEH). The DEH establishes a deep hashing model by constructing global distance relations that can define a distance between every paired category. Thus the distance relations constructed by DEH include much more detailed information. In other words, DEH focuses on global distance relations and makes the division of boundaries have excellent performance, especially for those samples with subtle changes. After the mapping, the model quantization approach effectively decreases the quantization loss caused by transitioning from the real-valued space to the Hamming space. Numerous experiments show that our DEH achieves excellent results on CIFAR-10, NUS-WIDE and ImageNet. These achievements not only validate the effectiveness of DEH in general image hashing retrieval tasks but also demonstrate its significant advantages in handling the large-scale multimedia retrieval systems. © 2015 IEEE. The current shortest path-based satellite routing algorithms do not consider the periodicity and persistence of links, resulting in high costs and unreliable maintenance of routing tables. In this regard, we propose a novel approach that leverages the periodicity and predictability of satellite constellation movements to rid repetitive route calculations and associated maintenance overheads across periods. Furthermore, within each period, we design a routing algorithm, named LMCRA (A Low Maintenance Cost and Reliable Routing Algorithm), which takes into account both the persistence and latency of inter-satellite links. Compared to traditional shortest path algorithms, LMCRA reduces the frequency of path switching caused by neighboring satellites moving out of communication range, thereby enhancing path stability, reducing maintenance costs, and maintaining low path latency. Additionally, a fast rerouting mechanism is considered to enhance the reliability of the routing algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that, across various network configurations, time spans, and constellation densities, LMCRA significantly improves path stability compared to the conventional Dijkstra algorithm, while maintaining low latency costs. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

This article mainly conducts a series of research on the synchronization control of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks. Firstly, a memristive Cohen-Grossberg neural network model with time-varying delay was constructed, and an equivalent system was obtained by combining inverse function theory, differential inclusion, and set-valued mapping. Secondly, a new predefined-time stability theorem was proposed, and sufficient conditions were obtained to ensure that the drive-response system achieves predefined-time synchronization by designing appropriate control strategy. The simulation results show that the stability time of the error system can be adjusted by the user, verifying the correctness and of the theory.

University computer rooms generally prefer batch purchasing strategy to simplify the management process such as system deployment and software update. However, with the growth of the life of the equipment, the failure of electronic products is inevitable, especially once the motherboard problem occurs, it is often difficult to find a replacement that exactly matches the original motherboard. Even if the replacement is found, its price is far beyond the market average level. After several years of operation, even the motherboard purchased in the same batch may also lead to the coexistence of a variety of models due to various reasons. In this situation, it becomes impractical to carry out unified network cloning. To solve this problem, we propose an innovative solution: deploying a local backup system combined with a server-controlled startup mode. The core of this solution is that through the local backup system, we can effectively deal with the challenge of different motherboard models, and ensure that each machine can have its own system snapshot. At the same time, the server-controlled boot mode further enhances the flexibility and efficiency of management, so that even in the hardware diversity of the environment, it can also achieve batch system recovery. The introduction of local backup system not only solves the problem of differentiated computer room management, but also significantly improves the convenience and stability of computer room operation and maintenance.
