In the process of large-scale industrial production, complex defects of different shapes and sizes can occur in industrial products and their components, and these defects seriously affect the performance of industrial products and their components, and being able to quickly and accurately identify defective industrial products and their components is an important task. Memory-based methods are usually used for anomaly detection, and these methods often rely on pre-trained models for feature extraction, but have high requirements on feature quality. In addition, patch-based methods mainly focus on local differences in feature embedding when detecting anomalies without explicitly exploiting broader contextual information, thus greatly affecting the robustness and accuracy of anomaly detection. Aiming at the above problems and requirements, this paper proposes a Feature Aggregation network for Memory-Based Industrial Anomaly Detection (FANet), which is based on the pre-extraction of anomalous features, attentional attention to key features, information aggregation of multi-level and multi-scale features, and the FANet provides advanced performance in industrial image anomaly detection and localisation by pre-extraction of anomalous features, attentional attention to key features, information aggregation of multi-layered and multi-scale features, and introduction of environmental information in the anomaly score computation to perform industrial anomaly detection tasks, and using core set subsampling to reduce storage requirements. On the MVTec AD, FANet has an image-level AUROC score of 99.1% and a pixel-level AUROC score of 98.2%. Similarly high detection results were achieved on the ViSA dataset, further demonstrating the robustness of FANet. © 2024 IEEE.

To achieve progressive and accurate decision-making for long-term time series data while meeting the needs of privacy-friendly and early, this paper proposes a universal framework for sequential progressive decision-making (SPD). This framework first segments the data and sets up multiple columns of neural networks according to the number of segments. Each column can make segmented decisions based on the inputs for the period. Additionally, without sharing the original data, the framework leverages lateral hidden layer connections between preceding and succeeding columns to obtain useful features for subsequent decision-making, gradually improving accuracy while avoiding the risk of data leakage. SPD has the advantages of privacy friendliness, column model diversification, prior knowledge reuse, and easy scalability, making it an effective framework for continuous decision-making. The effectiveness of that was validated using various network models in handwritten digit recognition and electrocardiogram classification tasks. The obtained experimental results reveal that SPD not only enables early decision-making while ensuring accuracy but also achieves accuracy levels comparable to or even surpassing those obtained using complete data, with the added benefit of privacy protection. © 2023 IEEE.

This study focuses on the application of large models to deal with imbalanced data problems in text classification. In view of the central position of text in web data and the negative impact of class imbalance on classifier performance, researchers have explored the method of using large models to generate high-quality minority class samples to enhance model performance. This paper reviews the technical progress of machine learning, deep learning, and large language models and their applications in text classification tasks. Although large models perform well in complex tasks due to their excellent language understanding ability, traditional machine learning and deep learning methods are popular in text classification scenarios that require fast response due to their simple structure and higher computational efficiency. This study proposes a data augmentation technique inspired by SMOTE, which uses a large language model combined with a simple prompt engineering strategy to generate high-quality minority samples. The experimental results show that the proposed method significantly improves the macro average precision, recall and F1 score on multiple text classification models, and effectively alleviates the challenge of class imbalance. © 2024 IEEE.

Quantum key distribution (QKD) provides information-theoretic security based on quantum mechanics, and as quantum key distribution becomes increasingly practical, questions of how to employ it effectively over largescale networks and large distances becomes increasingly important. In this work, we investigate the B92 entanglement based QKD protocol and a five-layer QKD network architecture consisting of trusted relay nodes. Previous research seldom focused on the ground routing mechanism of QKD networks in detail. Since no intersecting links are beneficial to reducing the key consumption rate and improving link security, combined with the core idea of reducing the number of link relay hops, we propose a minimum path cost multi-path routing algorithm for no intersecting links in quantum key distribution networks. By analyzing the security of the link, we effectively reduce the number of relay nodes and the number of relay links that pass through and give priority to the routing scheme with the minimum number of hops in the number of relay hops, which avoids the congestion and waste caused by the existence of interleaved multi-path in traditional multi-path routing. Meanwhile, the scheme effectively improves the quality of service index, avoids the generation and consumption of redundant keys, and reduces the waste of quantum key resources. © 2023 IEEE.

How to schedule public resources to maximize the coverage of crowds has always been a hot topic. There are mainly two types of research. One is the scheduling of static resources, whose coverage efficiency is lower because the resources cannot be moved;the other is the dynamic scheduling of movable public resources, but the existing methods require additional devices to collect crowd volume data. To address this issue, this article introduces a new category of mobile agents that can sense and execute simultaneously. This means that an agent can simultaneously perform crowd volume data collection tasks and crowds coverage tasks in its area. Taking these multi-ability agents as public resources, this article proposes a scheduling method called GE-STMC (Greedy Execute - Spatial and Temporal Monte-Carlo dropout). The method considers the spatiotemporal correlation between areas and evaluates the sensing value and the executing value of areas comprehensively to allocate the agents accordingly. Through the experimental on the real data of Beijing Happy Valley, this method can get 16% larger crowds volume coverage than other baseline methods with the same number of agents. © 2023 IEEE.

Multipath signal recognition is crucial to the ability to provide high-precision absolute-position services by the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS).However,most existing approaches to this issue involve supervised machine learning(ML)methods,and it is difficult to move to unsupervised multipath signal recognition because of the limitations in signal *** by an autoencoder with powerful unsupervised feature extraction,we propose a new deep learning(DL)model for BDS signal recognition that places a long short-term memory(LSTM)module in series with a convolutional sparse autoencoder to create a new autoencoder ***,we propose to capture the temporal correlations in long-duration BeiDou satellite time-series signals by using the LSTM module to mine the temporal change patterns in the time ***,we develop a convolutional sparse autoencoder method that learns a compressed representation of the input data,which then enables downscaled and unsupervised feature extraction from long-duration BeiDou satellite series ***,we add an l_(1/2) regularizer to the objective function of our DL model to remove redundant neurons from the neural network while ensuring recognition *** tested our proposed approach on a real urban canyon dataset,and the results demonstrated that our algorithm could achieve better classification performance than two ML-based methods(e.g.,11%better than a support vector machine)and two existing DL-based methods(e.g.,7.26%better than convolutional neural networks).

The PCB defect object size is small and the detection process is susceptible to background interference, usually have the problem of missed and false detection. In order to solve the above problems, an improved method based on YOLOv7 is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the bi-level routing attention (BRA) has been added to the header of the original YOLOv7 model to capture global dependencies and ensure the accuracy of small object detection and localization. Secondly, the explicit visual center (EVC) block is introduced before the fusion of mid-level features and high-level features to capture the global remote dependencies of top-level features, extract the features in local corner regions, achieve a comprehensive feature representation. Finally, the loss function is improved by changing the loss function of the original model to Wise-IoU, which allows our model to focus more on ordinary-quality anchor boxes and improve the performance of the detector while decreasing the competitiveness of anchor boxes for high-quality samples and reducing the influence of low-quality samples on the detection results. The experimental results show that the improved model improves 5% in AP and 1.9% in both AR and mAP over the original YOLOv7 model. Meanwhile, comparison experiments are conducted on the data-enhanced PCB dataset, which proves the superiority of our model over other state-of-the-art models. © 2023 IEEE.

The core of quantitative investment lies in predicting future trends in stock prices. The future trend of a stock is closely related to the industry it belongs to and its relationship with other stocks. Although some research has focused on stock trend prediction in recent years, most studies have only considered the stock's own time series feature, neglecting the spatial features between stocks. Some research has incorporated spatial information, but typically only considered predefined static relationships. At the same time, capturing dynamic spatial information in the market has been a long-standing challenge. Thus, we propose a spatio-temporal model, Finformer, in order to go beyond traditional time series models. We designed a sparse static-dynamic transformer to capture dynamic market spatial information as it changes over time and combined predefined relationships to extract highly correlated spatial features in the stock market. To effectively integrate spatial and temporal features, we introduced an adaptive spatio-temporal fusion module that dynamically fuses spatio-temporal features based on market conditions at different periods. Experiments on two real-world stock market datasets show that our proposed model outperforms the state-of-the-art baselines in the signal-based and portfolio-based metrics, which are widely concerned in the financial field. Ablation study and hyper-parameter study further reveal the effectiveness of each module in the model and the impact of hyper-parameters. The code will be made publicly available. 1 © 2023 IEEE.

Bridging Component Learning with Degradation Modelling for Blind Image Super-Resolution

Convolutional Neural network (CNN)-based image super-resolution (SR) has exhibited impressive success on known degraded low-resolution (LR) images. However, this type of approach is hard to hold its performance in practical scenarios when the degradation process (i.e. blur and downsampling) is unknown. Despite existing blind SR methods proposed to solve this problem using blur kernel estimation, the perceptual quality and reconstruction accuracy are still unsatisfactory. In this paper, we analyze the degradation of a high-resolution (HR) image from image intrinsic components according to a degradation-based formulation model. We propose a components decomposition and co-optimization network (CDCN) for blind SR. Firstly, CDCN decomposes the input LR image into structure and detail components in feature space. Then, the mutual collaboration block (MCB) is presented to exploit the relationship between both two components. In this way, the detail component can provide informative features to enrich the structural context and the structure component can carry structural context for better detail revealing via a mutual complementary manner. After that, we present a degradation-driven learning strategy to jointly supervise the HR image detail and structure restoration process. Finally, a multi-scale fusion module followed by an upsampling layer is designed to fuse the structure and detail features and perform SR reconstruction. Empowered by such degradation-based components decomposition, collaboration, and mutual optimization, we can bridge the correlation between component learning and degradation modelling for blind SR, thereby producing SR results with more accurate textures.
