The tremendous parallel computing ability of Cloud computing as a new service provisioning paradigm encourages investigators to research its drawbacks and advantages on processing large-scale scientific applications such as workflows. The current Cloud market is composed of numerous diverse Cloud providers and workflow scheduling is one of the biggest challenges on Multi-Clouds. However, the existing works fail to either satisfy the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of end users or involve some fundamental principles of Cloud computing such as pay-as-you-go pricing model and heterogeneous computing resources. In this paper, we adapt the Partial Critical Paths algorithm (PCPA) for the multi-cloud environment and propose a scheduling strategy for scientific workflow, called Multi-Cloud Partial Critical Paths (MCPCP), which aims to minimize the execution cost of workflow while satisfying the defined deadline constrain. Our approach takes into account the essential characteristics on Multi-Clouds such as charge per time interval, various instance types from different Cloud providers as well as homogeneous intra-bandwidth vs. Heterogeneous inter-bandwidth. Various well-know workflows are used for evaluating our strategy and the experimental results show that the proposed approach has a good performance on Multi-Clouds.

This paper discusses the simulated computation methods of remote sensing information model, and tries to put forward a more available solution. It presents our research works on the description and simulation methods of remote sensing information model: the service on demand method provides a basic methodology of model analysis, the semantic relationship description of information processing procedure supports the basic knowledge of resource selection and matching based on user’s demand, and the hierarchical mapping method of remote sensing information model shows the transformation from abstract model to executable data processing workflow. © 2014, Journal of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Research. Directional relation reasoning based on boundary sensitive model in three-dimensional space

In three-dimension space, with the minimum bounding rectangular (MBR) of any type of object's projections in xoy and xoz planes, there are four possible types of projection: minimum bounding rectangular, horizontal line, vertical line and point, then a boundary sensitive directional relationship matrix model (BSDRM) is proposed, the model can unified representation direction relations between objects of the four different types of projection, further, the three dimensional direction relation is inferred by combining the two direction matrixes in plane xoy and plane xoz. Based on this model, single direction relation reasoning table and multi direction relation reasoning method are proposed. Finally, direction relation reasoning arithmetic is given and proved to be true. © 2015, by Binary information Press

In this paper,we regard the nonlinear feedback shift register(NLFSR)as a special Boolean network,and use semi-tensor product of matrices and matrix expression of logic to convert the dynamic equations of NLFSR into an equivalent algebraic *** on them,we propose some novel and generalized techniques to study ***,a general method is presented to solve an open problem of how to obtain the properties(the number of fixed points and the cycles with different lengths)of the state sequences produced by a given NLFSR,i.e.,the analysis of a given *** then show how to construct all 22n-(l-n)/22n-lshortest n-stage feedback shift registers(nFSR)and at least 22n-(l-n)-1/22n-l-1shortest n-stage nonlinear feedback shift registers(nNLFSR)which can output a given nonperiodic/periodic sequence with length ***,we propose two novel cycles joining algorithms for the construction of full-length ***,two algorithms are presented to construct 22n-2-1different full-length nNLFSRs,respectively.

An improved algorithm for detecting community structure based on node similarity

Detecting community structure based on node similarity cost lower time complexity, but they ignore the indirect relationships of nodes. We proposed an improved algorithm for detecting community structure based on node similarity (AINS). The algorithm presents a neighbor subgraph model based on akincore node pair, considering the direct and indirect relations between nodes. It introduced node indirect similarity to solve the problem which only pay attention to direct relationships, ensuring that the results meet the common definition of community structure (the number of edges between community is greater than that within community). The experimental results show that the AINS algorithm can obtain better community classification result effectively. © 2014 Binary information Press.

Dynamic spectrum allocation scheme with real-time traffic and its performance optimization

Aiming at relieving the shortage problem of wireless frequency resource, sec- ondary users in cognitive radio networks occupy the spectrum hole opportunistically. In cognitive radio networks, primary users have preemptive priority for the licensed spectrum, and the data transmission of a secondary user is possible to be interrupted by a primary user at any time. For the applications with real-time traffic, the interrupted data is supposed to be discarded by the system. A continuous time queueing model with potential transmission interruption is established accordingly. By using the Laplace transform, the performance measures, such as the average latency, the normalized throughput and the spectrum switching ratio, are presented. The individually and socially optimal strategies are investigated with a non-cooperative game theory, and then a pricing policy for the secondary users is proposed. Experimental results show that the dynamic spectrum allocation scheme with real-time traffic can be optimized socially. © 2015, ICIC International.

An Effective Differential Fault Analysis on the Serpent Cryptosystem in the Internet of Things

Due to the strong attacking ability, fast speed, simple implementation and other characteristics, differential fault analysis has become an important method to evaluate the security of cryptosystem in the Internet of Things. As one of the AES finalists, the Serpent is a 128-bit Substitution-Permutation network(SPN) cryptosystem. It has 32 rounds with the variable key length between 0 and 256 bits, which is flexible to provide security in the Internet of Things. On the basis of the byte-oriented model and the differential analysis, we propose an effective differential fault attack on the Serpent cryptosystem. Mathematical analysis and simulating experiment show that the attack could recover its secret key by introducing 48 faulty ciphertexts. The result in this study describes that the Serpent is vulnerable to differential fault analysis in detail. It will be beneficial to the analysis of the same type of other iterated cryptosystems.

Bit rate buffer control and optimization of embedded video encoder

To satisfy various requirement of embedded video encoder, an embedded video coding system based on TMS320C64xx DSP is designed in this paper. TMS320C64xx DSP (Digital signal processor) is the core of the coding hardware system, and FPGA (Field program gate array) as the co-processor of DSP, which can convert video data into the specified format. For real-time application, we optimize the encoder at three levels: Firstly, at algorithm level, develop some fast algorithm fitting for DSP;secondly, at system level, adjust the architecture of encoder and optimization data transfer with EDMA (Enhance Direct Memory Access);thirdly, at code level, we use linear assembly rewrite key code. In order to avoid overflow and under flow state of bit rate, software FIFO (First Input First Output) is designed, and by the status of FIFO, we can know the state of underflow and overflow of buffer. Experimental results show that the embedded video encoder can compress four channel CIF (352×288) video data real-time. © Chunlian et al.

Angle historgam model of directional relationship in 3D based on Double-projection and Rounded-subdivision

The formal model of spatial directional relations is one of the most important parts in spatial relation research. The most of models are based on Minimum Bounding Rectangle (MBR), and they are not compliant with the regular pattern of human cognition. In order to get a closer conclusion to human cognition on directional relationship, Angle Histogram model based on Double-projection and Rounded-subdivision (AHDPRS) is proposed in this paper. The model uses the maximum inscribed circles to find out the maximum parts of the object, and calculates the directional relationship between the centers of the circles. This model ignores the inessential details to ensure the result which will be closer to human cognition. The experiments show that this model is feasible.
