Cloud data center networks have a complex structure, in which multiple network protocols are utilised to participate in the composition of the data center. How to achieve topology discovery and mapping in the face of complex, multi-structured cloud data centre network devices has become a hot research problem. network tomography (NT), as an end-to-end measurement technique of network boundaries, enables protocol-independent network measurements without the collaboration of internal nodes. The emergence of this technique provides a new research idea for cloud data center network topology mapping. In this paper, we propose a topology discovery technique based on the delay covariance matrix and a topology optimisation method based on the delay peak map, and conduct simulations for these two algorithms to verify the feasibility of the protocol-independent topology discovery technique applied to data center topology discovery. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In satellite communications, global navigation satellite systems(GNSS) and other important space activities, the value of total electron content (TEC) in the ionosphere directly affects the size of ionospheric delay. Achieving accurate prediction of ionospheric total electron content through modeling can effectively improve the reliability and accuracy of GNSS positioning. Considering the high prediction accuracy of long short-term memory neural network (LSTM) and the fast training speed of gated recurrent unit network (GRU), but it is easy to fall into the local optimum, while the width learning system(BLS) can effectively avoid this drawback. Therefore, this paper proposes a model for predicting the total electron content of the ionosphere, which consists of a broad learning system, an LSTM network and a GRU networks. Six parameters of TEC, geomagnetic index Dst, Kp, Ap, solar activity index F10.7, and hour (HD) are selected as input features from the observed data to predict the variation of the total ionospheric electron content. The results generate prediction maps of the total ionospheric electron content and are compared with empirical models and conventional neural network models at different times and solar activity conditions. The experimental results show that the root mean square error (RMSE) of the prediction results of this BLS-LSTM-GRU model is decreased by 23.07%, 17.48% and 9.46% compared with the IRI-2016, NeQuick and CNN-LSTM prediction models, respectively, with higher prediction accuracy. © 2024, Aerospace information Research Institute.

The performances of deep neural networks (DNNs) crucially rely on the quality of labeling. In some situations, labels are easily corrupted, and therefore become noisy labels. Thus, designing algorithms that deal with noisy labels is of great importance for learning robust DNNs. However, it is difficult to distinguish between noisy labels and clean labels, which becomes the bottleneck of many methods. To address the problem, this paper proposes a novel method named Label Distribution based Confidence Estimation (LDCE). LDCE estimates the confidence of the observed labels based on label distribution. Then, the boundary between clean labels and noisy labels becomes clear according to confidence scores. To verify the effectiveness of the method, LDCE is combined with the existing learning algorithm to train robust DNNs. Experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets substantiate the superiority of the proposed algorithm against state-of-the-art methods. © 2020 Inst. Sci. inf., Univ. Defence in Belgrade. Standardized big data, as a product of the combination of big data and standardization work, objectively reflects the status quo and trends of standardization work. An in-depth study of the distribution characteristics of standardized big data resources has important value for improving the efficiency of standardization. Therefore, this paper explores the characteristics of the distribution of standardization resources from the dimensions of spatial and temporal distribution, industry distribution, standard type distribution, and distribution of think tank experts through visual analysis methods. The study shows that: (1) the distribution of standardization resources in Shandong Province presents significant hierarchical and geographical characteristics;(2) from the viewpoint of the distribution of industry types and standard types, the distribution of standardization resources in Shandong Province presents a typical "long-tailed distribution";(3) the distribution of think-tank experts presents obvious "agglomeration effect". © 2024 IEEE.

There is a growing interest to use Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) inversed PWV for heavy rainfall prediction. When heavy rainfall occurs, it requires the atmosphere to contain sufficient water vapour and undergo strong upward motion. However, existing models using GNSS-PWV for heavy rainfall prediction have not accounted for the effect of the complex motion of water vapour. In this paper, an hourly heavy rainfall prediction model using sample entropy derived from GNSS-PWV and PSO-SVM is proposed. The sample entropy of GNSS-PWV is used to measure the complexity of the water vapour movement process before heavy rainfall occurs. Meanwhile, combining GNSS-PWV time domain features and co-located meteorological data, the occurrence of hourly heavy rainfall events is predicted by support vector machine optimized with particle swarm. To verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed algorithm, Hong Kong's HKSC station in Sham Shui Po is used for the model to train and test. The result shows that probability of detection, false alarm rate and critical success index of the proposed algorithm in this paper have significantly improved over other heavy rainfall prediction models. © 2024, Aerospace information Research Institute.

Multimodal sarcasm detection aims to identify whether utterances express sarcastic intentions contrary to their literal meaning based on multimodal information. However, existing methods fail to explore the model’s "ability to understand" the semantics expressed by sentences in the image context from semantic diversity perspectives. In this paper, we propose a multi-view semantic awareness method, which concretizes semantics from multiple perspectives to improve the model’s ability to capture different semantic features. Specifically, two learnable prefixes are attached to the text representation respectively to construct semantic representations from both the literal meaning and sarcastic intention perspectives. Then, image-text information is further fused through cross-attention to guide the semantic representation of different perspectives in the image context. Finally, the semantics expressed by prefixes are strengthened through KL divergence, thereby encouraging the model to capture two distinctive semantic features. Experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

Confidential computational geometry problems are one of the more popular classes of topics in secure multi-party computation. In the secure computation of geometric problems, the cross product can be used to judge the intersection of line segments. In this paper, we transform the problem of judging line segment intersection into the problem of computing cross product, propose a cross product computation protocol for protecting private information under the semi-honest model, and analyze the security and correctness. And further, this paper design a confidential protocol for computing cross product under malicious model and then judge line segment intersection, which utilizes segmentation-selection method and zero-knowledge proof to prevent or detect malicious behavior, and prove the security of the protocol with ideal-practical examples. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Evaluating the reliability of interconnection networks is crucial. The edge-connectivity is a parameter used to assess reliability. In this paper, we discuss a conditional edge-connectivity called the h-extra g-component edge-connectivity. It combines the extra edge-connectivity and the component edge-connectivity. First, this paper proved that $c \lambda_{3}^{h}\left(Q_{n}^{3}\right)=4 n h-$ $4 e_{h}\left(Q_{n}^{3}\right)-h$ for $1 \leq h \leq \frac{1}{2} \cdot 3^{\left\lceil\frac{h}{2}\right\rceil}, n \geq 3$. Then, the paper given the upper bound of h-extra g-component edge-connectivity of the 3 -ary n-cubes for $g \in\left\{4,3^{c}+1\right\}, 1 \leq c \leq\left\lceil\frac{n}{2}\right\rceil-1, n \geq 3$.

Wearable sensors have been rapidly developed for application in various human monitoring ***,the wearing comfort and thermal properties of these devices have been largely ignored,and these characteristics urgently need to be ***,we develop a wearable and breathable nanofiber-based sensor with excellent thermal management functionality based on passive heat preservation and active Joule heating *** multifunctional device consists of a micropatterned carbon nanotube(CNT)/thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)nanofiber electrode,a microporous ionic aerogel electrolyte and a microstructured Ag/TPU nanofiber *** to the presence of a supercapacitive sensing mechanism and the appli-cation of microstructuration,the sensor shows excellent sensing performance,with a sensitivity of 24.62 ***,due to the overall porous structure and hydrophobicity of TPU,the sensor shows good breathability(62 mm/s)and water repellency,with a water contact angle of 151.2°.In addition,effective passive heat preservation is achieved by combining CNTs with high solar absorption rates(85%)as the top layer facing the outside,aerogel with a low thermal conductivity(0.063 W m-1 k-1)as the middle layer for thermal insulation,and Ag with a high infrared reflectance rate as the bottom layer facing the *** warming,this material yields a higher temperature than ***,the active Joule heat-ing effect is realized by applying current through the bottom resistive electrode,which can quickly increase the temperature to supply controlled warming on *** proposed wearable and breathable sensor with tunable thermal properties is promising for monitoring and heat therapy applications in cold environments.

Multimodal dialogue emotion recognition integrates data from multiple modalities to accurately identify emotional states in conversations. However, differences in expression and information density across modalities complicate the fusion of features. Traditional methods may introduce redundant information from other utterances, reducing the accuracy of emotion recognition. Existing one-hot labels often fail to capture the full range of emotional expressions, leading to biased results. To address these issues, we propose a model that fuses different modalities within the same utterance to avoid redundancy. It employs a progressive classification process, refining emotion recognition from coarse to fine granularity. Additionally, we use emotion polarity probabilities as weights for fine-grained classification and introduce a multimodal information-rich label that considers both the data and their interactions. Experiments on IEMOCAP and MELD datasets demonstrate the model’s effectiveness, significantly improving dialog emotion recognition accuracy. Our code is available at https://***/r/LOCG-188E.
