In the rapidly evolving urban landscape,outdoor parking lots have become an indispensable part of the city’s transportation *** growth of parking lots has raised the likelihood of spontaneous vehicle combus-tion,a significant safety hazard,making smoke detection an essential preventative ***,the complex environment of outdoor parking lots presents additional challenges for smoke detection,which necessitates the development of more advanced and reliable smoke detection *** paper addresses this concern and presents a novel smoke detection technique designed for the demanding environment of outdoor parking ***,we develop a novel dataset to fill the gap,as there is a lack of publicly available *** dataset encompasses a wide range of smoke and fire scenarios,enhanced with data augmentation to ensure robustness against diverse outdoor ***,we utilize an optimized YOLOv5s model,integrated with the Squeeze-and-Excitation network(SENet)attention mechanism,to significantly improve detection accuracy while maintaining real-time processing ***,this paper implements an outdoor smoke detection system that is capable of accurately localizing and alerting in real time,enhancing the effectiveness and reliability of emergency *** show that the system has a high accuracy in terms of detecting smoke incidents in outdoor scenarios.

Table-based fact verification aims to verify whether a statement sentence is trusted or fake. Most existing methods rely on graph feature or data augmentation but fail to investigate evidence correlation between the statement and table effectively. In this paper, we propose a self-Labeled keypoint Alignment model, named LKA, to explore the correlation between the two. Specifically, a dual-view alignment module based on the statement and table views is designed to discriminate the salient words through multiple interactions, where one regular and one adversarial alignment network cooperatively character the alignment discrepancy. Considering the interaction characteristic inherent in the alignment module, we introduce a novel mixture-of-experts block to elaborately integrate the interacted information for supporting the alignment and final classification. Furthermore, a contrastive learning loss is utilized to learn the precise representation of the structure-involved words, encouraging the words closer to words with the same table attribute and farther from the words with the unrelated attribute. Experimental results on three widely-studied datasets show that our model can outperform the state-of-the-art baselines and capture interpretable evidence words. © 2022 Proceedings - International Conference on Computational Linguistics, COLING. To accurately extract Brillouin frequency shift of BOTDA with large sweeping step sizes, a novel structure of GAFCNN is proposed, combining time series coding with convolutional neural networks. The experimental data validation results demonstrate that the GAFCNN is capable of obtaining more accurate results under large sweep steps and low signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) than other current methods. © 2025 SPIE.

With the rapid development of technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, the contradiction between limited user computing resources and real-time, fast, and safe processing of large amounts of data has become an urgent issue. The emergence of edge computing provides IoT applications with a low-latency, high-bandwidth, and high-performance computing service. Due to the complexity and dynamics of the edge computing environment itself, and the limited resources of the terminal, the security issue of resource collaborative scheduling in the edge mobile network has become an important research topic. Different from existing work, this paper proposes an efficient and secure multi-user resource cooperative scheduling model, which comprehensively considers resource allocation, task offloading, QoE requirements, and data security. In the model, ChaCha20 encryption technology is introduced as a security mechanism to prevent data from being maliciously stolen by attackers during the offloading process, and computing speed is used as an indicator to quantify QoE requirements. A resource collaborative scheduling algorithm that integrates security mechanisms and computing acceleration is also proposed to minimize the total cost of optimizing the edge computing system. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the model and algorithm are verified by simulation experiments. © ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

As in the existing opinion summary data set, more than 70% are positive texts, the current opinion summarization approaches are reluctant to generate the negative opinion summary given the input of negative opinions. To address such sentiment bias, two approaches are proposed through two perspectives: model-specific and model-agnostic. For the model-specific approach, a variational autoencoder is proposed to disentangle the input representation into sentiment-relevant and sentiment-irrelevant components through adversarial loss. Therefore, the sentiment information in the input is kept and employed for the following decoding which avoids interference of content information with emotional signals. To further avoid relying on some specific opinion summarization frameworks, a model-agnostic approach based on counterfactual data augmentation is proposed. A dataset with a more balanced emotional polarity distribution is constructed using a large pre-trained language model based on some pairwise and mini-edited principles. Experimental results show that the sentiment consistency of the generated summaries is significantly improved using the proposed approaches, while their semantics quality is unaffected. © 2024 ELRA Language Resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

Due to the exceptional performance of Transform-ers in 2D medical image segmentation, recent work has also introduced them into 3D medical segmentation tasks. For instance, Swin UNETR and other hierarchical Transformers have reintroduced prior knowledge from several convolutional networks, further enhancing the volume segmentation capabilities of models. The efficacy of these hybrid methodologies is primarily attributed to the substantial quantity of parameters and the nonlocal self-attention mechanism with a large receptive field. We argue that the behavior of these methods' large receptive fields can be simulated by employing fewer parameters through the utilization of depth-wise convolutions with large kernel. Within this manuscript, we introduce a lightweight volume segmentation model called MedX-Net, which uses convolutional network modules to simulate hierarchical Transformers for robust volume segmentation. Firstly, inspired by the hierarchical Transformer module of Swin UNETR, we investigate large-kernel depth-wise convolutions with different sizes to achieve a reduced model parameter count while maintaining a large global receptive field. Secondly, we replace the multilayer perceptron (MLP) in the hierarchical Transformer module with Inverted Bottleneck with Depthwise Convolution Enhancement(DWCE) to improve model performance with fewer activation and normalization layers, further reducing the parameter count. We validate the effectiveness and efficiency of our model for volume segmentation on three public datasets: Synapse, BTCV and ACDC. On the Synapse dataset, compared to Swin UNETR, our model achieves an improvement from 83.48% to 87.21% in Dice score. Compared to the result of 86.57% achieved by nnFormer, our model achieves superior performance while reducing the model parameter count by 64%. © 2024 IEEE.

To address the challenges associated with insufficiently extracting and utilizing features at different levels, overlooking the connection between label meanings and text, and facing problems of over-compression or information loss when extracting global information using recurrent neural networks in the field of multi-label text categorization, this paper introduces an innovative model known as MFFLEN (MultiFeature Fusion and Label Embedding Neural network). First, a back-translated enhanced label set is constructed by back-translated splicing enhancement of the original label set. This set, together with the text, is then input into the embedding layer, which consists of the pre-trained model of bert-baseChinese, thus establishing the initial connection between the text and the labels within the same vector space. Then, to comprehensively extract multi-level semantic features, the model uses a convolutional layer to extract local features and an embedding layer to extract sentence-level features. A bidirectional attention embedded GRU (BAE-GRU) layer is used to extract hybrid finegrained features, which are then fed into the attention layer to further extract hybrid labeled features based on labeling information. Finally, these three different types of features are fused and multi-label text classification results are obtained using a classifier. The experiments proved that the MFFLEN model achieved 73.82% and 88.44% macro-F1 and 88.00% and 88.86% micro-F1 on the two datasets CAIL 2018 Small and CAIL 2018 Split, respectively, which is better than other baseline models. © 2024 IEEE.

Based on quantum parallelism theory and quantum phenomena such as superposition and entanglement, quantum reinforcement learning (QRL) has the potential to surpass classical reinforcement learning (RL). Although some excellent works have been done on QRL, existing RL methods encounter chanllenges when performing in environments with sparse rewards. In this paper, we provide a new perspective on conducting temporal difference (TD) learning in quantum computing, which can eliminate redundant exploration steps compared to classical methods. Specifically, we first use environment information to construct a world model with quantum circuits, enabling it to interact in a quantum way. Then, we perform the learning process by using the quantum world model and Grover's algorithm to query backwards how to reach the recorded states with high TD-errors. Simulation results show that our proposed method has superior performance compared to classical RL algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.
