With the continuous increase of IoT devices, the management and optimization of devices become particularly important. The update cycle of device functions is short, and in order to facilitate management and optimize device performance, a fast and convenient upgrade method is needed to solve this problem. Remote upgrade technology is mainly divided into full package upgrade and differential upgrade. Compared to full package upgrade, differential upgrade has obvious advantages in remote upgrade of large files. The main problem with current differential upgrade is the problem of slow generation speed while ensuring a certain size range of differential packages. This article proposes an improved Bsdiff algorithm to solve the problem of slow generation speed of differential packages. Experimental verification shows that the efficiency of remote upgrade has been improved, Improved the speed of differential packet generation and upgrade efficiency while ensuring the size of differential packets. © 2023 IEEE.

Multi-modal Self-perception Enhanced Large Language Model for 3D Region-of-Interest Captioning with Limited Data

3D Region-of-Interest (RoI) Captioning involves translating a model's understanding of specific objects within a complex 3D scene into descriptive captions. Recent advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) have shown great potential in this area. Existing methods capture the visual information from RoIs as input tokens for LLMs. However, this approach may not provide enough detailed information for LLMs to generate accurate region-specific captions. In this paper, we introduce Self-RoI, a Large Language Model with multi-modal self-perception capabilities for 3D RoI captioning. To ensure LLMs receive more precise and sufficient information, Self-RoI incorporates Implicit Textual Info. Perception to construct a multi-modal vision-language information. This module utilizes a simple mapping network to generate textual information about basic properties of RoI from vision-following response of LLMs. This textual information is then integrated with the RoI's visual representation to form a comprehensive multi-modal instruction for LLMs. Given the limited availability of 3D RoI-captioning data, we propose a two-stage training strategy to optimize Self-RoI efficiently. In the first stage, we align 3D RoI vision and caption representations. In the second stage, we focus on 3D RoI vision-caption interaction, using a disparate contrastive embedding module to improve the reliability of the implicit textual information and employing language modeling loss to ensure accurate caption generation. Our experiments demonstrate that Self-RoI significantly outperforms previous 3D RoI captioning models. Moreover, the Implicit Textual Info. Perception can be integrated into other multi-modal LLMs for performance enhancement. We will make our code available for further research. © 1999-2012 IEEE.

Large Language Models (LLMs) exhibit remarkable generative capabilities, enabling the generation of valuable information. Despite these advancements, previous research found that LLMs sometimes struggle with adhering to specific constraints (e.g., in specific place or at specific time), at times even overlooking them, which leads to responses that are either too generic or not fully satisfactory. Existing approaches attempted to address this issue by decomposing, rewriting input instructions, or reflecting on prior failings, yet they fall short in adequately emphasizing specific constraints and in unlocking the underlying knowledge (e.g., programming within the context of software development). In response, this paper proposes a simple yet effective method Chain-of-Specificity (CoS). Specifically, CoS iteratively emphasizes the specific constraints in the input instructions, unlocks knowledge within LLMs, and refines responses. Experiments conducted on publicly available and self-build complex datasets demonstrate that CoS outperforms existing methods in enhancing generated content especially for the specificity. Besides, as the number of specific constraints increase, other baselines falter, while CoS still performs well. Moreover, we show that distilling responses generated by CoS effectively enhances the ability of smaller models to follow the constrained instructions. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Federated Learning (FL) is a distributed machine learning paradigm designed to address data silos and protect data privacy. However, in medical scenarios, the heterogeneity in data quality and the non-independent and identically distributed (Non-IID) nature of medical data from different hospitals can lead to degraded model performance in FL. To tackle this challenge, this paper proposes an adaptive federated learning framework based on reputation. By using a reputation evaluation model, the framework adaptively adjusts the aggregation weights of the models to enhance the performance of the global model. Additionally, our reputation evaluation model, integrated with blockchain technology, can rapidly identify malicious clients and effectively prevent poisoning attacks. Experimental results on two medical datasets demonstrate that this framework achieves higher model accuracy and faster convergence. © 2024 IEEE.

As blockchain technology becomes widely applied, handling high volumes of transactions has become a critical challenge. Sharding has emerged as an effective solution to enhance the throughput of blockchain systems. Yet, this approach introduces challenges related to the frequency of cross-shard transactions and workload balancing. High rates of cross-shard transactions can slow overall processing speed and reduce throughput, while uneven load distribution can overburden some shards and underutilize others, impacting overall efficiency. To address these issues, this paper proposes a sharding method named LCLB. This method employs the concept of label propagation to pre-shard accounts with frequent transactions into a designated shard, ensuring a lower ratio of cross-shard transactions. It also uses an elastic load balancing algorithm to dynamically adjust the distribution of accounts, ensuring a relatively balanced processing load across all shards. Our results indicate that LCLB significantly enhances blockchain sharding performance,not only enhancing transaction throughput but also significantly reducing transaction confirmation latency, while ensuring a balanced load across various shards. © 2024 IEEE.

Acoustic information in confidential premise can be leaked through channels such as walls, pipes, doors and windows. Acoustic leakage level needs to be measured through specific indicators. Acoustic leakage evaluation indicator includes subjective evaluation indicator and objective evaluation indicator. The subjective evaluation indicator is a qualitative evaluation of acoustic leakage through subjective auditory perception of human ear, which can directly reflect the degree of acoustic leakage in confidential premise. At present, the objective evaluation indicator is mainly sound transmission loss (STL) to reflect objective degree of acoustic leakage in confidential premise. Therefore, it is relatively singular. Through study of Speech Transmission Index (STI), speech transmission index for public address systems (STIPA), which is a simplified form of FULL STI, is applied to acoustic leakage detection in this paper. STI has been proposed as an objective evaluation indicator and applied to acoustic leakage detection and acoustic information security. In order to confirm the effectiveness of objective evaluation indicator, a large number of related experimental studies have been conducted in the paper. Through experiments, it has been proven that STI can objectively evaluate level of acoustic leakage and level of acoustic information security in confidential premise. STI can better predict level of Chinese clarity under various complex transmission conditions. It provides a reliable basis for speech privacy of confidential premise and evaluation of architectural acoustic, sound reinforcement system and voice communication system. © 2024 IEEE.

The extraction of relationships between military entities and descriptive entities is a key task for automated construction of military knowledge graphs. This category of text unstructured imposed problems such as unfixed entity length, possibly overlong intervals between entities, and excessive pronouns. Many studies rely on traditional pattern matching and statistical learning methods. Thanks to the expansion of data volume, deep learning methods are generally used to address similar problems. However, the traditional single neural network model lacks the ability to extract the relationship information of long-interval entities and cannot tackle the above problems well. To solve these problems, a new named entity relationship extraction model called DTGCN is proposed combining dependency tree and GCN (Graph Convolutional networks). By comparing with traditional models, the experimental results demonstrate that the method proposed in this paper can enhance F1-value by 2.28–11.11% and can provide support for the extraction of Chinese long-interval relationships. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

The rapid growth of healthcare data transactions has fostered win-win developments in healthcare technology innovation and economic benefits. However, the issue of secondary transactions makes data ownership vulnerable to infringement due to the easily replicable nature of the data. As the importance of ownership and privacy increases, more and more users protect the privacy of data through encryption methods, making it impossible for existing methods to make infringement judgments on ciphertext data. To solve this problem, we propose an infringement detection and traceability scheme based on feature extraction of ciphertext data. Firstly, the characteristics of fully homomorphic encryption are utilized to obtain data features in the ciphertext state, and the plaintext state of these features is used as the basis for infringement judgment. Additionally, during the data transaction process, the ownership registration of the sales data is verified through smart contracts to ensure the effective association between the transaction data and the seller's address. The experimental results show that the scheme can accurately determine infringement while protecting data security and privacy. © 2024 IEEE.

The legal judgement prediction (LJP) of judicial texts represents a multi-label text classification (MLTC) problem, which in turn involves three distinct tasks: the prediction of charges, legal articles, and terms of penalty. Nevertheless, extant multi-label text classification models tend to eschew the consideration of multiple correlations and semantic information between labels when predicting judicial texts, which may result in the loss of pertinent information. Furthermore, these models do not take full advantage of the local and overall information of the labels in the process of selecting appropriate labels for the text using the multi-head attention mechanism. To address these issues, we propose a new model, BGFLFF, which explores label correlation and semantics among the three tasks by employing Graph Convolutional network (GCN) and multi-head attention mechanisms. In particular, we propose a Bi-Graph Fusion GCN (BGF-GCN), which fuses the co-occurrence matrix of labels with the cosine similarity matrix, thereby fully exploiting the multiple correlations between labels. Furthermore, prior to embedding the tags, the interpretations of the labels are obtained via Google in order to enhance the semantic information between the labels. To further reinforce the interconnections between labels and text and more effectively comprehend the interrelationships between the three tasks, we propose a Multi-Head Label Feature Fusion Attentional Mechanism (MH-LFFAtt), which assigns distinct weights to the pertinent label information in the text by fusing the local and overall features of the labels. The experimental results demonstrate that the F1 score exhibits an improvement of up to 2. 2 8 % and a minimum of 1. 2 9 % across the various tasks of the two datasets. This evidence substantiates the assertion that BGFLFF outperforms the existing baseline model. © 2024 IEEE.

The performance of image captioning models based on deep learning has been significantly improved compared with traditional algorithms. However, due to the complex network structure and huge parameters, these image captioning models are hard to apply to resource-constrained appliances such as mobile embedded systems. To address this issue, we propose two lightweight image captioning models based on two pre-training models, i.e. M2 Transformer and CaMEL. To improve the performances of the proposed lightweight models, we also develop an optimization training strategy based on knowledge distillation. Specifically, we design knowledge distillation loss functions in the encoder, decoder, and response modules, which can use the multi-modal feature mapping of the original models to transfer prior knowledge, improving the feature learning ability and generalization ability of the lightweight models. Experimental results show that the proposed lightweight models are superior to the original pre-trained models in performance when reducing the parameters greatly. Besides, the proposed lightweight models also have a good knowledge transfer ability. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
